Enjoyed my guayaba (guava) matcha from Lull Cafe. Stopped by and ordered this drink and received it shortly afterward. Did not wait too long while I was sitting at one of the covered tables. It was quite hot out, but not too bad. I enjoyed the flavor and the matcha and glad I got to try them out!
I've been a couple of times and have enjoyed all the drinks I've tried. They are on the sweeter end, so if that's not your preference then I'd recommend asking for less sweetness. The location is a bit odd as it is behind a gas station and the seating faces out towards the parking lot/back of the gas station so it's not the most atmospheric. They do have a rewards card, so definitely grab one upon ordering.
Me and the hubs went for an afternoon pick me up at the Lull Cafe. Our first time visiting I've seen so much about it on TikTok! I got the banana matcha and it is delish would get again. Hubs got the Es Yen and it's alright just tastes like a basic vanilla latte with the coffee having a strong roasted flavor- doesn't taste like there's condensed milk in it . Not pictured was the strawberries and cream chroffle. This I would pass on. I didn't realize it would be covered in strawberry syrup so that was my fault but I would try the plain one. Ambiance was nice for being behind a marathon but I personally sat in my car since I am susceptible to heat flashes during these Florida summers . Servers were kind and helpful with any questions I had.
Had Lull Cafe on my radar for awhile and finally stopped in this weekend. The coffee and matcha were so good I went back the next day for more. The Biscoff latte? Chef's kiss. The cold foam is like a marshmallow topping I can't get enough of. The strawberry matcha was honestly one of the best matchas I've had. Food was great too. The falafels and hummus tasted super fresh and the cheese logs were delicious. One thing to note: weekend wait times are long. From ordering to getting our drinks was about 25 minutes both days, so definitely be prepared to wait. That said, it was worth it.
**another updated review** I guess you can tell this is my favorite coffee place. Thai tea with a shot of espresso is chefs kiss. This is my first time going on a weekend during the day and it was very packed so if you plan on coming to the coffee shop, there will be a line but they are always so quick to get your items out to you.
Thanks to @RachelM for telling us about this new place in South Tampa. The area around Gandy has really changed from gritty to upscale over the decades. This food truck tucked behind a gas station, is a chill, cool, welcome, casual blast from the past. Not pretentious. Not fancy. Just great Guatemalan coffee and creative lattes plus some nicely marinated chicken wraps or rice dishes. Seating is outside, under well positioned shade awnings. Parking is haphazard but available. Espresso is rich and complex. My wonderful wife's coconut latte was "just delicious" in her words, not mine! The unisex bathroom is inside the gas station but available if you ask nicely for the key. Life is good with a new, unique, local, tasty coffee hangout spot!
I like Lull. I love their menu The Matcha comes abundant The breakfast bread (w/ true eggs & cheese) & croffles are tasty & it feels like I'm eating with my neighbors from across the street. The portions are a good size & the ppl are nice! A cute lil gem that will not disappoint.
I have seen Lull Cafe's biscoff iced latte all over social media and finally found myself in the area when they were open (they are closed on Tuesdays!) so I had to give it a try. The entire experience lived up to the hype! The staff were so friendly and even offered to bring my drink to my car when it was ready, which was very helpful considering the coffee shop is entirely outdoors and it has been colder than normal in Tampa. In nicer weather, they have outdoor seating available to customers. The latte was well-balanced and very flavorful. They were generous with the cold foam and the biscoff, which was delivered as a syrup, a cookie butter spread lining the cup, and a cookie on top of the lid. The price was very reasonable, the time from placing my order to receiving my coffee was minimal, and the value was there for me. Highly recommend!
Looking for a cute spot to have coffee and a small breakfast... This might be your spot. Will you impress a date with beautiful ambience?... No. Will they think you're cooler than you really are if you show them this little hole in the wall that you can't even see from the street?... Maybe. My wife and I each had a coffee. She got the Biscoff matcha and I got the Biscoff latte. +1 star for having anything Biscoff. My latte was delicious. I also got a croffle (a croissant made like a waffle) that was covered with whipped cream, strawberry preserves, and fresh strawberries. Maybe a touch too much whipped cream... But it was very good. Service was very polite and genuine. All in all, a cute little spot with good food at a relatively reasonable price. I recommend.
Cute coffee truck with a few tables in a parking lot. Cool vibes, good quality matcha. We liked the strawberry matcha but not so much the biscotti one. falafel sandwich was just ok ( as someone who makes falafel, I should have known not to order it, lol).
LULL CAFE is a coffee and food truck tucked away, and it's 100% worth it! I got the Biscoff matcha latte and it was so good. My husband ordered the Thai tea and really enjoyed it too. We both got the avocado toast with scrambled eggs, and they also offer the option to swap for a fried egg (which he did). The outdoor seating is cozy, the vibe is friendly, and everything tasted fresh and high-quality. Highly recommend!
The coffee and food here is great! The decor and vibe is super cute! The location is a bit odd at first because you have this super cute stand in a random beat up tiny parking lot in the middle of nowhere but give it a minute. The service is great, super sweet, friendly, attentive and fairly quick! Parking is limited but feel free to park across the street. This place is always busy too!
This little food and coffee truck is truly a gem! We didn't try the food but the beverages were absolutely delicious! The service was very helpful and they also have a cute seating area next to the truck to enjoy your purchases and relax. Definitely recommend!
Lull Cafe opened the cutest little coffee truck right next to my house, and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite! They're open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, except Tuesdays. The truck is right next to a few local businesses and a neighborhood park, making it such a convenient spot to grab a bite or coffee. It's constantly busy, but they make waiting easy by giving you a buzzer so you can hang out in your car until your order is ready. They've also added covered tables and chairs outside, so you can actually sit down and enjoy a full outdoor meal. The owners are so sweet, which makes the experience even better. My favorites are the Biscoff latte and matcha latte. I'm convinced they have some of the best matcha in Tampa! I haven't tried lunch yet, but the kabobs look amazing. I wish I could keep this place a secret, but I guess it's too late! read more

This food truck tucked behind a gas station is worth seeking out. The staff greets you warmly and knows their menu inside and out. The vibe is calm with soft music, and the outdoor seating with umbrellas offers great shade. Their coffee is made with fresh ingredients, and their matcha is ceremonial grade. Prices are fair at $7-9 per drink. A solid spot for quality coffee with friendly service and a pleasant outdoor setup. read more
My favorite matcha spot in all of Tampa, and honestly, in all of Florida! Lull Cafe is owned by the sweetest couple ever, they take pride in all of their drinks and have great customer service. They usually have a long line no matter the time you get there, but it goes by quick, and they have an adorable seating area so you can wait or enjoy one of their bites right there. Their drinks are well worth it, whether it's coffee, lemonade, matcha... and I know how hard it is to find a quality earthy, umami tasting matcha, but lull cafe never fails to bring on the umami! Try them out. read more

A charming little cafe truck tucked behind a gas station. I'm so glad my sister recommended it because it's been amazing every time I've gone. I've visited twice now, and both the food and service have been consistently great. On my second visit, they accidentally made my drink incorrectly, but they were incredibly kind and apologetic and fixed it right away. It does get busy, especially on weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait. I can't wait to go back and try more of their drinks and bites! read more

Love this hidden gem (that probably won't be so hidden in the near future). The cafe is a food truck located behind a gas station, right off the hwy -- so convinent for those commuting to work. I tried the Biscoff latte hot with an extra shot - so it was very good and not to sweet. Also bought my coworker the iced biscoff and she was obsessed -- she went back the next week and did a coffee run for us. I also have tried the Pumpkin Spice latte ! My favorite pumpkin spice, I asked for it to be less sweet. It was made and topped with pumpkin puree. So it a little thick , I would go back for it over and over again. I also have tried the Croffle. It was AMAZING ! There is no need for icing, syrup, etc. It seemed to have a sugared coating on it... Hope to go back and try a cheese roll or chicken bowl. It's more like Asian drinks and Middle Eastern savory foods. The owners are amazing and so kind. There is a patio for dining. And parking in the morning is easy. It's so convinent as they open at 7am. read more
Amazing hidden gem at the South of Gandy! It's a lovely couple that owns the truck and they are so sweet! The wife is Asian and I am all about supporting our Asian owned / local businesses! Their menu is amazing - tons of breakfast options and lunch options! We got to try their croffle, strawberry zen and pumpkin spice latte! The psl was autumn in a cup, not overly sweet and came with a scoop of pumpkin puree! The zen was made with amazing matcha and a bit sweet but make sure you mix it! The croffle was soft but crunchy on the outside, so gooood! This definitely will be my go to!! read more
Lull cafe is a cute hidden coffee truck off of Gandy. I went in the morning so there was plenty of parking and a cute outdoor space to hangout. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was a bit too sweet for me but I know that a lot of people love it. I'm excited to come back and try their matcha! Service was also great. read more

I love love love Lull Cafe's strawberry matcha. It is the perfect balance of matcha and strawberry, not too sweet and not too earthy, just so well done. I'm honestly obsessed with it. The food truck itself is also super cute, with plenty of seating which makes it easy to hang out and actually enjoy your drink. Service has been great every time I've gone, really friendly and consistent. It's one of those spots I keep going back to without even thinking about it. read more
Stopped by here for an afternoon pick-me-up and really enjoyed it! I found this place because I participated in the Tampa coffee crawl - it's tucked away in south Tampa and I'm not sure I would've stumbled on it otherwise. The decor and aesthetic is very cute and welcoming. There's some seating outside next to the coffee trailer with some umbrellas providing shade, which is nice because it's so hot with the sun blaring down on you in the summer time. There's a few parking spots but not a ton, which makes sense because it's more of a grab & go spot. I knew what I wanted to order because I saw some of their drinks on their IG - but their menu didn't really highlight the drinks that I saw on their socials. If I hadn't seen those posts I probably wouldn't have ordered what I did, so I think those specialty drinks should probably be added to the menu, or just posted somewhere on a sign for people to see as options for sure. I ordered the iced banana latte and the cookie butter matcha. Both were really great - the flavor of the banana and the cookie butter didn't overpower the coffee to make it too sweet or the matcha to where I didn't get that matcha flavor anymore. I would definitely visit again. read more

Lack of caffeine following this mornings flight led me to Yelp which led me to Lull Cafe. This is an unassuming little food truck located in a parking lot that cranked out an amazing scrambled egg avocado toast and a comparatively small but delicious caramel macchiato. The young lady who took my order informed of a 10 min wait so I lounged in the shaded outdoor seating available. There are a small number of tables with large umbrellas and a random assortment of chairs to the side for "overflow seating." On walking back up to check on my order, the young lady recalled my name and assured me that food was ready and that the coffee was coming right up. I needed a "light" snack and a pick-me-up and this really hit the spot! read more
I searched cafe in maps and this was one of the options that popped up and i had to stop by. I was a little confused when going through the entrance but its behind the building on the left! They seemed to have a community since there were consistent customers. They also had plenty of food options and drinks. I decided to go with one of the valentines specials and my mom got a strawberry mocha. The service was quick and they brought it out to us in the seating area. My drink was amazing and decorated with rose petals on top! We also shared cheesy bites which was a couple egg rolls but filled with cheese, it was also delicious. This place is a hidden spot worth finding!! read more
Amazing food and delicious drinks with open seating area and great hospitality!! Highly recommend. Their February special drinks are all amazing. Their chicken chop is so smoky and juicy, it goes perfectly well with rice and the acidity in the salad. The portion is great as well!! read more
We love going to Lull Cafe! Me and my partner go so many times what we have a stamp card. It's a cute little coffee truck trucked away. I would say it's one of the best matcha in the Tampa Bay Area. Their drinks never disappoint. The baristas are always so nice and it's just has this very laid back vibe to it. It has outside seating that fits the food truck aesthetic. The only down side is the parking. Since it's been so popular lately, one a busy day you might have trouble parking. And when it does get packed you might have to back your car out for some people. Other than that, we keep coming back and bringing our friends to this spot. Must try! read more
Went on a Saturday afternoon and to my surprise it was packed considering it was tucked away behind a gas station. The truck and set up is super cute and the menu is easy to navigate. Prices are all super reasonable as well. We got the falafel wrap lunch special for $12, which tasted fresh and I enjoyed the fries (just slightly greasy). I LOVED their homemade hot sauce that they added with the meal! The food is nothing I would write home about but the drinks are outstanding and VERY pretty to look at as well! We got the biscoff latte and strawberry zen. The biscoff latte was SO delicious and not too sweet. Same with the strawberry zen, it tasted pretty fresh and the puree wasn't overly sweet. Would definitely go back and get more drinks!! read more

Café Lull is such a gem in Tampa! From the moment I walked in, the owners made me feel so welcome. The service was warm and attentive, and the drinks were incredible. I tried both the pumpkin spice latte and the Biscoff latte, and they were perfectly made. Everything about this place feels thoughtful and inviting. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more from their menu! read more

This is the cutest outdoor cafe truck ever! It is reminiscent of an Asian-flavored Casa Azul (another similar cafe). I really loved the strawberry matcha latte. It's clear they used fresh and real strawberries since it had the tartness of a berry while providing just enough sweetness for the latte. Not too sweet = perfect! The owners were so sweet and helpful. I will be coming back for sure! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE. This cute hidden gem caught my heart and taste buds in such a short period of time. I was only in Tampa for 3 days and visited here two of those days. A must go to stop if you're in the south Tampa area! Great matcha, healthy options with clean and fresh ingredients, well seasoned food, and friendly service and overall relaxing vibe! The cat branding is also very adorable. )FYI it's located in a lot behind a gas station and a tattoo shop-- it can be easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area) read more

The food and drinks are incredible at this place. The matcha was like true Japanese matcha with a rich bold taste. We had the Morning Wrap and avocado toast for food. Was really surprised by how savory and tasty the wrap was, especially with the homemade hot sauce. Service and everything was top notch as well. This little food truck is going places! read more
Sweet little coffee truck hidden behind an unassuming gas station in South Tampa. Seating is limited, all outdoors with patio furniture and umbrellas for shade, so be sure to snag a spot quickly once you arrive (or bring an umbrella in case it is raining). This place is gaining more popularity by the day, and it is totally worth the hype! I was impressed by the extensive drink AND food menu that this tiny truck was able to churn out. I always love a good falafel so that was the first thing that caught my eye, and the seasonal drink flavors seemed to draw a lot of attention judging by the chatter from others in line behind us. The service was polite and very accommodating for the small adjustments we made to our drink orders (added the strawberry flavoring to the bottom of the seasonal XO latte and cold foam to the dirty chai). Definitely adding this to my list of favorites anytime I'm back in South Tampa. read more

One of the better coffees in town. Loved the latte flavor. The coffee was still the dominant flavor but with a mix of not too sweet and the Biscoff cookies we all love. They were busy but the wait wasn't too bad. I definitely need to go again and try their food. For a small truck they have a lot of food and drink options and a little patio you can sit at. I'm not sure if I'd want to hang in the patio area but I def recommend. read more

This is the perfect spot for a quiet weekend morning coffee and a bite. The truck is decorated so cute with a little patio seating area. Our service was great and both people in the truck were very friendly. We got the avocado scrambled which was to die for. The sourdough was the perfect texture, the egg was creamy and fluffy, and it's topped with shredded parm. Our coffee and matcha were equally as delicious and I will be making this a regular weekend stop! read more
