    Croissant Breakfast Sandwich
    Sarah A.

This is a cute little coffee shop with a drive-thru, which I love. The service was friendly and I loved the fall decorations. My croissant breakfast sandwich was 3/5. Just so so, not super flavorful and kind of bland. I was not a fan of the garlic aoli either. Despite adding bacon, it needed more salt and seasoning. The iced coffee with one pump of homemade pumpkin spice syrup was a 5/5! Delicious!

    Salty Avocado Toast

$7 Avocado toast was inedibly salty. Cold brew tastes off - almost like plastic, like hot coffee poured into a plastic cup

Was excited about this one and left a bit disappointed! It was a Saturday morning and there was only one person working the drive through and the inside, so choosing to walk in ended up being a mistake. We ordered two lattes and had to wait at least 20 minutes for them, even though we were 2nd in line when we arrived. Normally I find that getting a latte results in sippable coffee the minute I get it, but this coffee was PIPING hot. Burnt my tongue hot! They have a ton of offerings and I'd certainly come back at a different time and try some other stuff. Seemed like a good place to work and hang out, too. Super cute inside!

Pretty much the entire place in one photo.

I give this coffee spot a 8/10! Even though it's a tiny spot, it's still very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. With a huge variety of coffee and food, with a drive through for speedy ordering. There is some seating for while you wait, or you can even lounge for a while with a book! There is no bathroom, but there is merch you can purchase! I asked the barista if they had a pistachio latte, and they said yes! And even suggested one of their specialty Pistachio Baklava lattes! It was hot and served in a 20 oz size cup. The order came to over $7, but that's pretty competitive with other independent coffee cafe's. The customer service was excellent and I really enjoyed the experience. They seem like they're well established and doing great!!

    Boo buckets for October!

This was my first time visiting The Bean Bar - I've driven past this spot so many times, this location is in a two story plaza with other businesses and if you're just on your way like any other day on Dale Mabry, it could be easy to miss unless you're looking for it. It isn't a huge space but they've really used it to their advantage with a good amount of seating and still kept it cute and appealing inside. My friend and I had a coffee date here, we saw their boo buckets on Instagram and had to pay them a visit before October was over so we could experience a latte in one of the cute jack-o'-lantern faced buckets - they're $10 and honestly, well worth it in my opinion. I ordered the white mocha pumpkin latte and it was fantastic, and it's A LOT of coffee, but I loved that lol I also ordered the pumpkin cream cheese muffin and the croissant - great pastries with nothing negative to say about them. The ladies at the counter were friendly and provided good service - I'd love to visit again to try some other food items on their menu and some other lattes, the white mocha pumpkin was delish so I'm sure their other options are just as great!

Overpriced for the quality. Nothing special about the coffee. Ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich. Only after we paid and waited we were told that didn't have croissants. The staff did seem quite genuinely sorry. We got a bagel instead but not impressed. Eggs were rubbery and just no flavor.

Yay there's a Bean Bar now on my way to and from work!! Although it may get me into some trouble lol First tried Bean Bar at a Yelp event at their location in New Tampa and fell in love then. This new location off of Dale Mabry even makes it convenient with a drive thru!! Yup you read that right. I had to make a trip in this morning for my vanilla matcha with oat milk. And it was sooo delicious. I also got the bagel with cream cheese and my friend got the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. The croissant was delicious and made fresh. So it was hot and cheese melty. Yum. The bagel was absolutely delicious--soft and the cream cheese was plentiful!! Today is their official opening day! So go out and show them love!! This place is an absolute must!! They do have indoor seating also if you'd like to enjoy your drink and food there. Staff was welcoming and super friendly! Great service!!

Pumpkin spice so cute and delicious

This place is cute, the staff is friendly and the food was good. The Boo buckets are adorable and delicious. Will definitely go back to this place again.

Cute little place that moved in where I formerly knew Cool Moe's! The coffee was good and strong. The inside is small but still has some tables to hangout if you want. Had the cafe con leche, delicious! Stop by!

Way too expensive for the quality of coffee/food. Unfortunately today was my first and my last visit.

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! The team is so great, and the shop currently has some of my fave baristas from formerly open shops. They're awesome! I highly recommend stopping in.

Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? It's run by a group of women who feel welcoming & happy to see you, in the way they greet you and move with purpose behind the counter. Service is fast, friendly, and they make it look effortless. Their drinks? Always on point. They made me a cookie butter latte -- iced, hot, whatever it technically was -- and it was ridiculously good. Their breakfast-style bites hit the spot too. The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part. The space has this inviting brick-and-wood vibe that gives it a little "up north" feel. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place you can sit with your thoughts or escape the house for a bit. They've also got juices and boba teas, and honestly, I haven't had a single thing from their menu that missed. If you live in the area and want a spot that feels like your spot -- freshly brewed coffee, good food, good people -- Grind Haus is it.

I dunno that-but I do know, this was an epic sesame experience. The rest of the bagel was good, too... nice chewy-to-crunchy ratio... soothing, comforting... everything you want it to be-and I liked the way it was packaged and served, on a little wooden tray. I loved the peaceful early morning vibes in here so much, I stayed almost too long, to get to an appointment on time (almost). I'll go back (for sure) when I'm not on deadline. There are so many other things to try, from boba tea to pastries and crepes. There's a comfy couch and chairs, two high top counters and several tables, where you can work, study or hang with friends. It's spotlessly clean and the employees I encountered were nice.
