For Saturday morning I was looking for a coffee shop and since elevation coffee roasters was in my list to try out so I decided to have morning coffee from Elevation Coffee Roasters. It is a small beautiful cafe with amazing seating space inside and free wifi where one can work and sip delicious coffee. When I entered the cafe I was greeted at the cafe register and by looking at menu and asking the recommendation from the server I decided to order Hot Latte (12 oz) with Toffee Almond flavor coffee. The service was quick and soon I got my coffee. I loved my morning coffee with toffee almond flavor and it was brewed freshly with correct amount of sugar and taste. Friendly service and this place is definitely coffee snob and home espresso aficionado approved. Always encouraging when you see extra care taken to puck prep like WDT. I've visited this place six times, each visit different than the other in terms of busyness or holiday hours. I had to give this coffee shop a lower rating because I feel like everyone that's rated this place so far is the Northdale regulars getting the exact same items every time. I would say that I do like their lattes, iced or hot; tastes identical to Whole Foods, not 10/10 but still good. The quality and taste of espresso on its own was quite terrible for this place to be a Roastery. before making this review, I realized i hadnt tried one more item on the menu, and it was their nitro brew so i bought today.... disgusting is all I would say for that one. I ordered it with two pumps of vanilla and a splash of cream but unfortunately it tasted as though I was drinking old weak shots of espresso with more water and cream. Matcha was okay dont waste your money though, also if you want breakfast food be prepared to wait a while or not recieve it at all. all of the baked goods, in the pastry case are usually old and not very tasty. overall, I'd give this place a 1.7 out of 5. The service is always sweet and welcoming when entering that alone made this place a star up, however the wait times for just a few items takes quite a while. The inside of the coffee shop is cute and cozy. There's not much to see so I only took one picture not spoil it much if you still decide to check it out. read more

I am a professional barista and I would say elevation is one of the best coffee places around the Tampa area. For the people that actually enjoys coffee without having to put creamer and sugar. there iced pour overs are amazing and you would be a pysopath to add any sugar or creamer. This was by far the best coffee experience I had while visiting Tampa/St Pete last week. When I visit a shop for the first time, I look for really good product and a staff who are excited to share it. Elevation delivers both in spades. From the moment we walked in, the employees behind the counter impressed me with their kindness and their love for their craft. They were excited to talk about the individual farms where they purchased their beans and they suggested experiences that would showcase their roasts (which are done very well in house). They also worked hard to accommodate our group of 9 by offering to pull in chairs from outside. If you're looking for excellent coffee and even better vibes, this is the place. read more

I stopped by on a Sunday morning to a very friendly and helpful staff who, clearly show in their enthusiasm, that they are proud of their drinks. Such nature in staff make the biggest of differences. The ambiance is trendy with sparse decor and a very clean atmosphere. There are a few small two person tables socially distant inside. There was a set of chairs and coffee table outside. I tried the golden milk latte (a concoction of various thoughtful mix of aromatic spice flavors, including turmeric, close, cardamom, ginger) mixed with your choice of daily or non-dairy milk served with froth. I ordered a side of Guatemala Espresso. The espresso by itself was perfectly poured with just the right amount of espresso foam. The espresso of these particular beans have a crisp and slight tangy post sip flavor. The two combined was a nice flavor combo. Such combination is not for everyone but it sure is tasty. When my fiancée and I visit Florida last month - we literally stopped here almost every day! The coffee is so smooth, and delectable. My favorite go to drink is always a mocha latte. My latte was amazing, every single day! The mocha did not taste super sweet or artificial. It tasted like real, good chocolate mixed with yummy espresso. My fiancée got a London fog a few times and he loved it! The one thing is that they got my order size wrong twice (I ordered a large but got small both times). But otherwise! Great place!! read more

Why 5 stars? Because I am so ashamed that it took me so long to visit. --- --- --- I am a coffee fiend and I live in Carrollwood. When I moved to the area 5 years ago, it took me about a week and a half to try every coffee shop in the surrounding region. While Elevation has only been about 14 months as of this writing, there's really no excuse why I did not visit at least 13 months ago. After playing basketball for about 3 hours, I was in desperate need of a boost, so I walked in, saw nitro on the menu and asked for a large. Whenever nitro is available, I stop looking at the options because that's always going to be my first choice. And I can confidently say that this is the best nitro I've had in Tampa Bay. I also couldn't help but order a chocolate chip waffle, which smelled like the greatest substance ever created as I drove him and it sat next to me. Sadly, by the time I got home, it had cooled off and dried off a bit. Next time I will eat it in house. And finally, I couldn't resist ordering a bag of the Guatemalan beans. The flavor profile is chocolate, peanut butter and maple. I cannot wait to dive into these. It will absolutely not take me long to return. I want to start out with an honest declaration that I am a coffee snob. I try coffees every place I go in search of the best. I ordered a regular latte at 12oz with whole milk. I really wanted to like Elevation coffee because of the ratings and how close it is to home, but was disappointed that my cup tasted a tall cup of warm milk with a hint of coffee. I wouldnt say I'd never go back - I probably would but I'd request a 50/50 ratio of milk to coffee so I could actually taste the roast. read more

I have been waiting for this coffee shop in my neighborhood to open for ages it seems. There is something exciting to me about having an establishment right smack dab in the middle of housing. You know it's going to be a regulars type of place. The interior is modern yet inviting. White palatable walls, small seating area and the barista was very helpful. It was a warm day so I wanted an iced mocha latte. They even offer lavender flavor. How cool?! I opted for the small size. Just over $5.00 but it was SO small. It was gone in 6 sips (not literally). The flavor was mild and very easily drinkable. I can't wait to explore more options and also hope they will soon offer more lite bites to enjoy. We came to Tampa and tried 5 different shops when we were in town, this shop and another share #1 out of the 5. I drink straight black espresso and they knew how to pull well, had chosen coffee for espresso based on what type would go well so there are layers and flavor to the shots. I think it's cool that the building is stand alone in the middle of homes, so I'm sure everyone knows each other here which is pretty cool. The shop is really cute and trendy. They offer merch and seem to have some pastries as well. I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte and it really was good. It was strong but subtle enough not to be overwhelming. I usually like my coffee sweet but I didn't have to put any sugar, it was perfect the way it was made. I have it four starts because they're on par with Starbucks pricing. I get the same amount of coffee at my nearby coffee shop, Sips, for less. I would definitely stop by again though. read more
