My wife wanted to come this place due to the viral Video of the fresh almonds. We've never tasted fresh almonds before. The place is full of desserts by pound. Great variety of Turkish delights and middle eastern goodies. The guy was very helpful in explaining the different fruits etc. we got some fresh almonds as this was the primary reason we drove here. They were good and fresh. 3 stars because they were very price and found out later that they were selling fresh almonds down the street for a fraction of their price. Great store to visit for desserts but for the almonds - I suggest you shop around first. read more

I had heard about this place & wanted to try their Dubai chocolate bar & baklava. We were not prepared for all the varieties and wonders that this place had in store for us. If it's your first time here you need time to go through everything that they offer. It's amazing. They have nuts, Turkish delight, cookies, baklava, chocolate, stunningly crafted fruit ice cream/gelato, candy, coffee, honey, ceramics... It's almost overwhelming. I come here often, and the Dubai chocolate is always the highlight. It's rich, delicious, and consistently amazing every time I order it. Had heard about this place all over social media and accidentally visited a coffee shop in the same plaza so had to stop in! Such a fun array of Middle Eastern candies and other sweets, and just tons of imported items from all over. They have the viral fruit popsicles, dubai chocolate making kits, barrels full of spices, and dozens of boxes of various wrapped candies you can grab a bag of. They also have a huge display case of turkish delights. I know about the tradition turkish delights that are cut into pieces and covered in powdered sugar, but I didn't know they make rolled versions of any and every flavor you could think of. Oreo, birthday cake, pistachio, and more. So interesting. You can get an assortment of nuts as well, as displayed right next to the turkish delights. There is so much to see and explore in here, and so fun to see so many goodies that you'd never find in a normal American candy or grocery store. read more

Roasted! is such a cute and clean little gem. From the moment you walk in, it just feels cozy and intentional. The layout is inviting, and they've got a curated collection of unique goodies. I picked up their pistachio sauce (sooo good in coffee and over ice cream ), Ritter's chocolate, and Kinder's ice cream bars...yep, I was definitely in my snacky era and zero regrets! They also sell candles with the most gorgeous packaging....perfect gifts if you're into aesthetics and yummy scents, and I am, so I'll be back for sure! Great customer service and a chill vibe. I thought I took pics- So this place is near my sweet Saigon Bay remake just off 56/Fowler, south on 56th - very busy lot. On 56th just off of Fowler there is a new strip center with an array of nice new shops. Roasted is snuggled in just a few stores down from my favorite Yemini coffee shop. The store boasts beautiful, dazzling and scrumptious eye pleasing confections. Their large selection of rolled chocolate and nougat delights stuffed with all kinds of sweet raptures had my mouth watering. A neverending selection of candies, chocolates and roasted seeds and nuts rounded out the store. German and Dubai choclates summoned and tempted me. A very clean store with a very pleasant and informative young man who guided us around this Palestinian business. I will be back soon for a highly anticipated assortment of goodies that I plan to serve at my next home gathering. It would also be a stunning gift for the hosts of the next party you attend. Those amazing chocolaty nougat rolls can be divided into bite size pieces for an extraordinay and provocative centerpiece. Can't wait to come back. Come get ya some. read more

I love Roasted! Such a beautiful store, always a pleasant experience. They have grown so nicely in the last year I wish them the best. They recently added the viral Dubai Chocolate and they sell out quick! They struggle a bit with the consistency of the filling but I have had it on a great day too so I can deal. The kids always ask me to go to Roasted.. it's about 20-30 minutes with traffic from Downtown Tampa. Totally worth the drive. I've had the baklava, their gummies, sweets and my niece loves their soap. Try it out! read more

I called 21 places today looking for the viral mango ice cream. I looked on tiktok and a girl said she got it at Roasted! So I called and they had it! The guy I spoke with on the phone was very nice and extremely helpful when I arrived in person. He was easy on the eyes too! Stop here during the last Ramadan event. They only had 2 people working for the large amount og people, but they were doing their best to be efficient. The guy in charge of the giving the Turkish d'lites was fast. However, the ones he was giving were pre cut and didn't seem too fresh. But overall the taste was good. When it was time to pay, the cashier guy was coughing on our products. He didn't do it on purpose, but I wish he was more careful. Also, everything was well package so there was no risk of having germs on the food. read more

Love the selection of turkish pastries and halal gummies. The mint lemonade was also amazing. Being a weekend it was super busy and at times it was awkward not knowing how to order, pay etc and not super helpful staff. The dubai chocolate was a bit of disappointment too super super thick chocolate almost no katafi, really liquidy pistachio cream. Definitely a great place to find treats! I will say that the dubai chocolate they sell is extremely runny (the inside), it fell apart as soon as i took a bite & i couldn't even finish it because it turned into a blob The taste itself was also off, not sure if they forgot to add tahini but it didn't taste authentic. The other treats we got were pretty good & their selection is abundant, just wouldn't recommend it for dubai chocolate specifically. read more

I came in on a Wednesday night around 8 PM. There was only one person working in the store at the moment. Therefore, the wait time was roughly between 20 minutes, and there were only one person ahead of us. my overall experience would be just A-OK.... A very pretty young lady help me and she was very professional and nice! Customer service wise I would give them five stars solid however my over experience is three stars because of quality and quantity. Personally for me it just wasn't what I was looking for & a tad way too sweet. It is beautiful inside and the layout for all the display is very pleasantly to the eye. This place has so many fun treats! We came here to try the fruit gelato and they only had two flavors left, strawberry and banana. Banana was my favorite, it was provided fresh out of the freezer and filled with creamy gelato/ice cream. There is a pick your own candy section, which I will definitely be trying next time. Service was fast but there was a line forming when we got there on a weekend. Lots of candies, spreads, and ice cream goodies packed inside. Parking is shared within the plaza and it gets busy on weekends, but there were still plenty of spots. read more

Everything at this place looks good and the Turkish delights I got here were tasty. And the employee who got us our Turkish delights was very quick and helpful. But I can only give one star because the employee at the cashier was coughing a lot, even over the merchandise. It was packaged merchandise and I cleaned the packaging when I got home, but it was very unsettling seeing how much an employee was openly coughing on food items. read more

Located on N Dale Mabry, in the same plaza as Burger 21, Peterbrook Chocolatier is open most days until 8 or 9 PM (except Sundays). This is very convenient for a busy person like myself. I rolled in around 7 last night, and was warmly greeted by Pam. I told her I was looking to get some gifts to show appreciation for some folks and she showed me the most popular items, and then gave me freedom to wander and collect. These folks cover so many things is chocolate. Potato chips, Oreos, Graham crackers, espresso beans, malt balls, raisins, gummy bears, toffee and so much more. They have a very large selection of ready to go baskets full of goodies for Valentine's Day, or you can have one custom made with treats you know your sweetheart will adore. They also have a case of beautiful chocolates you can have boxed (they have heart ones for the holiday!) and Gelato for a yummy snack. The owner uses an airbrushing paint style to decorate the shells of the many amazing options. They're made by hand in-house & you can literally see how much effort is put into the product they serve. I love how many different options there are to choose from. Not only is there a great variety, they're always stocked up. Even after coming here for as long as I have, it always seems like there's something new to try. They have some standard flavors like dark chocolate raspberry, strawberry caramel, hazelnut, cappuccino & salted caramel but the true fun lies within looking at the unique flavors. PB & J, bananas foster, key lime pie, passion fruit & Mexican mango are just some to be named. They offer macrons & some of their signature flavors in bar form, as well. There's also a great selection of delicious, freshly-made gelato. Fan of afternoon tea? They host it every Saturday & Sunday with some delicious bites at a reasonable cost. The milk shake had just the right amount of sweetness and thickness consistency. The shot of expresso mixed with ice cream was the perfect mix, and a great afternoon pick me up. Whenever in DeLand this will always be a stop for me.

We did notice they had some of those ice creams that went viral online a little while back so we each got one, I got the peach ice cream & my daughter got the fried chicken ice cream. We both enjoyed them, I loved how realistic the ice creams looked & the peach ice cream was so tasty, the outside part of it felt like I was biting into an actual peach. My daughter liked that there was a chocolate covered pretzel in the middle of the fried chicken ice cream that was the "bone". The store wasn't busy when we went in so we ordered & were served pretty quickly, I loved that they were playing Kpop on one of the TVs as well.

I settled on a Yemeni-style hot chai tea and a divine pistachio pastry, with so many flaky layers, sweet honey and a delicate pistachio flavor. I also chose a high top by the window, to enjoy them both. It's such a great environment in here-busy and bubbly but not loud. I can't wait to soak that up-with a different tea and sweet treat. The trip back will be easy. Qamaria is at the corner of 56th Street and Fowler in Temple Terrace, in a brick strip mall... with a huge parking lot, leafy shade trees at one end and lots of other middle eastern delights to try out, in that same plaza.
