My wife wanted to come this place due to the viral Video of the fresh almonds. We've never tasted fresh almonds before. The place is full of desserts by pound. Great variety of Turkish delights and middle eastern goodies. The guy was very helpful in explaining the different fruits etc. we got some fresh almonds as this was the primary reason we drove here. They were good and fresh. 3 stars because they were very price and found out later that they were selling fresh almonds down the street for a fraction of their price. Great store to visit for desserts but for the almonds - I suggest you shop around first. read more

I had heard about this place & wanted to try their Dubai chocolate bar & baklava. We were not prepared for all the varieties and wonders that this place had in store for us. If it's your first time here you need time to go through everything that they offer. It's amazing. They have nuts, Turkish delight, cookies, baklava, chocolate, stunningly crafted fruit ice cream/gelato, candy, coffee, honey, ceramics... It's almost overwhelming. Had heard about this place all over social media and accidentally visited a coffee shop in the same plaza so had to stop in! Such a fun array of Middle Eastern candies and other sweets, and just tons of imported items from all over. They have the viral fruit popsicles, dubai chocolate making kits, barrels full of spices, and dozens of boxes of various wrapped candies you can grab a bag of. They also have a huge display case of turkish delights. I know about the tradition turkish delights that are cut into pieces and covered in powdered sugar, but I didn't know they make rolled versions of any and every flavor you could think of. Oreo, birthday cake, pistachio, and more. So interesting. You can get an assortment of nuts as well, as displayed right next to the turkish delights. There is so much to see and explore in here, and so fun to see so many goodies that you'd never find in a normal American candy or grocery store. read more

Roasted! is such a cute and clean little gem. From the moment you walk in, it just feels cozy and intentional. The layout is inviting, and they've got a curated collection of unique goodies. I picked up their pistachio sauce (sooo good in coffee and over ice cream ), Ritter's chocolate, and Kinder's ice cream bars...yep, I was definitely in my snacky era and zero regrets! On 56th just off of Fowler there is a new strip center with an array of nice new shops. Roasted is snuggled in just a few stores down from my favorite Yemini coffee shop. The store boasts beautiful, dazzling and scrumptious eye pleasing confections. Their large selection of rolled chocolate and nougat delights stuffed with all kinds of sweet raptures had my mouth watering. A neverending selection of candies, chocolates and roasted seeds and nuts rounded out the store. German and Dubai choclates summoned and tempted me. A very clean store with a very pleasant and informative young man who guided us around this Palestinian business. I will be back soon for a highly anticipated assortment of goodies that I plan to serve at my next home gathering. It would also be a stunning gift for the hosts of the next party you attend. I love Roasted! Such a beautiful store, always a pleasant experience. They have grown so nicely in the last year I wish them the best. They recently added the viral Dubai Chocolate and they sell out quick! They struggle a bit with the consistency of the filling but I have had it on a great day too so I can deal. The kids always ask me to go to Roasted.. it's about 20-30 minutes with traffic from Downtown Tampa. Totally worth the drive. I've had the baklava, their gummies, sweets and my niece loves their soap. Try it out! read more

I called 21 places today looking for the viral mango ice cream. I looked on tiktok and a girl said she got it at Roasted! So I called and they had it! The guy I spoke with on the phone was very nice and extremely helpful when I arrived in person. He was easy on the eyes too! I will be back for more of the mango ice cream and to check out some of the other snacks they had. Everything in the store looked homemade and delicious. Stop here during the last Ramadan event. They only had 2 people working for the large amount og people, but they were doing their best to be efficient. The guy in charge of the giving the Turkish d'lites was fast. However, the ones he was giving were pre cut and didn't seem too fresh. But overall the taste was good. When it was time to pay, the cashier guy was coughing on our products. He didn't do it on purpose, but I wish he was more careful. Also, everything was well package so there was no risk of having germs on the food. read more

Being a weekend it was super busy and at times it was awkward not knowing how to order, pay etc and not super helpful staff. The dubai chocolate was a bit of disappointment too super super thick chocolate almost no katafi, really liquidy pistachio cream. Definitely a great place to find treats! I will say that the dubai chocolate they sell is extremely runny (the inside), it fell apart as soon as i took a bite & i couldn't even finish it because it turned into a blob The taste itself was also off, not sure if they forgot to add tahini but it didn't taste authentic. The other treats we got were pretty good & their selection is abundant, just wouldn't recommend it for dubai chocolate specifically. read more

I came in on a Wednesday night around 8 PM. There was only one person working in the store at the moment. Therefore, the wait time was roughly between 20 minutes, and there were only one person ahead of us. my overall experience would be just A-OK.... A very pretty young lady help me and she was very professional and nice! Customer service wise I would give them five stars solid however my over experience is three stars because of quality and quantity. Personally for me it just wasn't what I was looking for & a tad way too sweet. It is beautiful inside and the layout for all the display is very pleasantly to the eye. This place has so many fun treats! We came here to try the fruit gelato and they only had two flavors left, strawberry and banana. Banana was my favorite, it was provided fresh out of the freezer and filled with creamy gelato/ice cream. There is a pick your own candy section, which I will definitely be trying next time. Service was fast but there was a line forming when we got there on a weekend. Lots of candies, spreads, and ice cream goodies packed inside. Parking is shared within the plaza and it gets busy on weekends, but there were still plenty of spots. read more

Everything at this place looks good and the Turkish delights I got here were tasty. And the employee who got us our Turkish delights was very quick and helpful. But I can only give one star because the employee at the cashier was coughing a lot, even over the merchandise. It was packaged merchandise and I cleaned the packaging when I got home, but it was very unsettling seeing how much an employee was openly coughing on food items. read more

Came in here to buy the green plums when they were in season which were great. The freezers not facing the window has the better selection of the viral popsicles, the other freezers have melted and refrozen ones. Ordered pistachio paste the one that comes in a jar and found a smaller glass piece earlier thinking it was just a hard piece of the food just threw it away. Took another spoonful put it in my mouth and bit down on something hard took it out and noticed its glass. Food was good but if glass is broken around food make sure you throw it all out and dont try and salvage it. Had half a jar left but scared to eat the rest.
