Oh my gosh! We went here on a Saturday afternoon and the two women working were so nice! They explained a lot of the options to us and helped us narrow down our choices. We ended up getting the Dubai chocolate baklava and the warm Kunafa. They were both incredible! The inside is very cute and modern with a ton of seating.
You walk in and it is beautiful inside. The counter is a large L shape with so many options. They have ice cream, baked goods and chocolate. Plus drinks. It was so hard to decide what to order but I wanted to start with some classics so we got the ice cream sandwich and the crispy kunafa. The ice cream sandwich was spectacular. The kunafa was unlike anything I have had before! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I look forward to going back and trying some of their other options such as some baklava or one of their absolutely delicious looking gelato flavors!
Have you ever had Arabian ice cream? It might be the most uniquely textured thing I've ever eaten, especially when paired with the crispy kunafa. You have to try it! The amount of options can seem overwhelming, but trust me... just order one of everything. It's the best way to experience Bekdash, and you'll probably discover a new favorite. Both times we visited it happened to rain, which gave us the perfect excuse to take our time enjoying all of the phyllo-based desserts. The bite-sized baklava are highly addictive, and every dessert we tried was worth ordering.

If you're counting calories, you've been warned. If you're counting happiness, you've found the right place!! Absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be back. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flaky, buttery, and loaded with pistachios instead of just waving one around for decoration. The hardest part of the visit wasn't choosing what to order, it was convincing myself to stop ordering.
The atmosphere is very clean and trendy. The staff was welcoming and very helpful for our first visit. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The price for both was a little more than I expected but seeing the quality and tasting how fresh and flavorful they were, I would say it's absolutely worth the cost. We will be back! What wonderful treats!
I've been here 3 times and the dessert is consistently delicious! You cannot leave without trying the Kunafa!! The employees are always so kind and always willing to provide recommendations. The restaurant is very nice and fairly elegant. It's always clean and usually busy but the service line moves quickly! They now have outside seating with string lights illuminating the patio. You can't beat this place!
Came here after dinner on a Thursday evening and it was full. Love their decor and their ice cream waffle dessert was delicious. Will definitely return to try other desserts.
Oh my good gracious- just go and enjoy! The ordering and checkout structure is a bit wonky but the people are lovely and helpful all along the way! Weekends are very busy. Evenings are busy. Afternoons are usually the least busy- but they are always busy because it's that good! Turkish coffee is not my jam- not a big ground cardamom fan- but they have many great coffee options, both hot and cold! Turkish ice cream is so interesting and fun. Knafeh is the perfect dessert- sweet, savory, crunchy, chewy, nutty, smooth- it's all the best things in one dish! They have many baklava and stuffed phyllo desserts that have that range of textures and flavors, too! You cannot go wrong any which way! Enjoy Bekdash with an amazing crowd of people from all over the world!
Mother's Day dessert spot to try - had been hearing and seeing reviews of Bekdash and decided to give it a try. I LOVE Qamaria and Roasted and wasn't sure how it compared to those who both offer delicious coffee and treats in a chill atmosphere. First off, it was decorated beautifully- the outdoor space looks like it would be fantastic to be at when the weather isn't blistering hot (like today) - our group all got different drinks to try ranging from iced americanos, to white mocha to Mint smoothies. We got a treat sampler to take home (rather sent home with son for him and roommates to share) and then got a baklava with Arabian ice cream which looked like it would be really rich and sweet but it turned out to just be simply delicious! We will probably go back or at least I will with friends to share this interesting ice cream that I actually really enjoyed!
I absolutely love this place. I have been many times and there's more I need to try for sure on their menu. They're known for their Arabian stretchy ice cream made with mastic which comes in vanilla and chocolate- this is an absolute must try (especially on a hot summer day)! I really enjoy their matcha and it always tastes so good- I've had a classic matcha and rose matcha so far. The hibiscus is my next one to try. Their affogato is made using the Arabian ice-cream, so the ice-cream doesn't melt fast and you can enjoy the ice-cream too, and Turkish coffee. Service is ALWAYS so good and everyone on staff is very helpful and patient (because the lines can get long during busy hours). There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is cute and there's many seats available, and outside is really nice at night with the lighting. I always recommend this place to people and enjoy taking out of town family here!

So the hubby has been wanting to try this place out, for a while. Thankfully we were close by with some friends and they also wanted to give this place a try. First of all, this place is large! A lot of seating and space if you don't want people on top of you like other places. Because of being lactose intolerant, I was excite to try the special ice cream they have made from a tree (per advertisement). When I asked to try, the server immediately dipped it in pistachio. II'm not a big fan of pistachios. I just wanted to try it plain. But all I tasted was pistachios. Then one of my friends who tried it after me, said they need to dip it in pistachio because the ice cream itself doesn't taste like anything. What if someone has a nut allergy? So I decided to go for the baklava. I know, I know, there is pistachio in it, but I love baklava and thought I could just remove most of the pistachios. Yea, that didn't work as I thought. My hubby had the Dubai Round Baklava and LOVED it. I'm particular of my sweets and though I didn't have a good first experience, I am willing to return to try something else.

My wife and I decided to stop by Bekdash for a treat on our date day trip and it didn't disappoint. We first walked in and were greeted by very friendly staff. We were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of sweets from Arabic ice cream, to gelato, to homemade candies, to Dubai Chocolate bars, and so much more. I walked by a gentleman taking pictures of Dubai Chocolate croissants. I was chatting with him, Andre I believe is his name, about how I've been on a Dubai Chocolate kick and to my surprise he said I don't work here but I'm the creator of the Dubai Chocolate Baklava Arabic ice cream sandwich. He then proceeded to cut some fresh baklava, split that in half like an ice cream sandwich, added some Arabic vanilla ice cream, topped it with some fresh pistachio cream and kataifi, put the top of the baklava on, drizzled with pistachio and chocolate, then finished off with some crushed pistachios. One bite of this dessert had me floating on cloud 9. Absolutely an experience for your taste buds. Wow! You've got to try this. Wife and and I also shared an iced matcha with Ube that was vibrant in color and tasted wonderful. Overall we were very pleased with the top notch service from all of the kind staff. My friends and I stumbled upon Bekdash Icecream after coming from a show, and honestly it was the best part of our night. With so many options for ice cream and desserts, there was something for everyone. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. There's also a nice corner for pictures. The Staff was very nice and provided us with some options. We each tried something different, and everyone was extremely satisfied. We sat outside and had a great time. Wow!!! The hype is real!!! I saw a video on Instagram and said I have to taste for myself. The whole environment is beautiful. The music exposes you to a different culture as does the aesthetics. But I'm here to talk about the ice cream. Honestly, this might be the best ice cream I've ever had. Also, if you love pistachios you have to get the Arabian Ice Cream with Fresh Cream and Pistachos. I love coming to this place for a sweet treat! If you have late night cravings, this is the place. I came here to try their Dubai crepe and it was heaven. The hazelnut chocolate is what makes it so good! The place is very lively and even very busy late at nights. But the line goes very fast. Love it, I can't recommend it enough. read more

Service is very helpful and they describe the item of you don't know what they are. Bought a tin box of assorted baklava - a little expensive but totally worth it. They have the latest craze- Dubai chocolate. Must try their Dubai chocolate baklava ice cream cake a totally out of this world. So delicious. We shared other pastries, ice cream, and coffee. What an experience! This place is lavish from the decor to the desserts, everything just feels like a luxury and I'm here for it! Of course I had to get the Dubai Chocolate Baklava Arabian Ice Cream Sandwich which is just as good as it sounds. Watching them stretch the ice cream was almost as good as eating it! We tried a couple of their pastries as well but the best thing here (even better than the baklava ice cream sandwich if you can believe it) is the kunafa - you absolutely must order it, trust me. My only recommendation would be to make the signage clearer or have some menus available to make ordering easier. It's a bit confusing when you walk in since it's one long L shaped counter but you order different things at different spots and then pay at the end. Even though each counter has an overhead sign, it's not clear what you can order or what the prices are. I only knew to order the ice cream sandwich because I saw someone else get it, and I only knew to ask for it Dubai Chocolate style because I saw someone's review on here! read more

The pistachio gelato is outstanding. Fan favorites at our table were the knafeh. The warm melted cheese with lightly sweet syrup made it a great balance and a really enjoyable dessert. The space is modern and clean. Most of the staff were friendly, though one person seemed like they might have been having a rough day. Overall a very nice spot. Highly recommend it for an after-dinner dessert, a coffee date, or a quick sweet pick-me-up. read more

I was so excited to try this place. It is beautiful inside and outside. They offer a wide variety of desserts. I got the mastic ice cream, which was delicious. The pastries were also delicious including the kunafa. The Dubai chocolate was good, but a little too sweet for me. They offer samples so you can try before you order. I loved the outdoor seating area and it was super cute. Overall I really enjoyed this place. The only downsides were the high prices, and the mosquitoes that were outside. The ambience as you walk in is warm and inviting, setting the tone for a unique dessert experience. I visited on a busy Sunday afternoon and even with the crowd, the service moved smoothly. My partner and I ordered two different items to share, and everything was delicious. The ice cream was unlike anything I've had before--fresh, chewy, and almost stringy when scooped. Sounds unusual, but it was so tasty! We tried the kunafa, a warm, cheesy pastry topped with that amazing ice cream and a sprinkle of pistachios--absolutely divine. The baklava was also good, though next time I'll ask for it to be cut into smaller pieces since cutting the triangle myself got a bit messy. Yes, the prices are a bit on the higher side for dessert, but honestly, it's worth it for the quality and experience. I'll definitely be back for another sweet fix! read more
Ever hear of Arabic stretched ice cream? Yeah me neither but I had to try it. The kid behind the counter suggested the baklava Dubai ice cream sandwich. Ummmmm okay you don't have to twist my arm just make it already!!! And sure enough, he did and I devoured the entire thing and if my boyfriend wasn't looking I would have licked the plate clean. This was delicious - thank you to the kids suggestion a the beautiful display of presentation. It was quite a drive to get there from downtown Tampa but personally, I think it was worth it. Open late till midnight! The Arabian ice cream is stretchy and has a signature mastic flavor which is earthy. The ice cream is rolled in pistachio. I also ordered the soft cheesy kunafa. It was a generous portion and warm. The baklava with sweet cream was yummy too. Next time I wanna try the Arabian with sweet cream. The place is huge and feels like you are transported into a middle eastern bazaar. read more
After dinner we were heading home and my friend said she say an amazing icecream place close by and we should find it and try it! So we found out we were only a mile away and away we went! It was evening and the location was lit up and looked beautiful! It is a very large location and can handle a lot of people. The staff was super friendly and helpful with questions. We tasted the Arabian ice cream and chose to order an Arabian baklava ice cream sandwich with Dubai chocolate! Whoa!!! We split one and took one home! It was so good!!! The flavors were spot on!! They had so many choices of desserts and gelato also! Definitely worth the time! And the calories!! read more

I love trying food from different cultures, so I thought I'd give this place a try. Firstly, the kunafa blew me away and was the perfect mix between sweet and salty! The texture was also an interesting mix of soft and crunchy as well. I wasn't a big fan of the Arabic ice cream though. I did not enjoy the texture and the flavor was a bit odd to me, but I could see how others might enjoy it. The restaurant is a bit far from me located in temple terrace, so I opted to order on uber eats instead. My order was ready and delivered fairly quickly. I am not sure how the ambiance is, but am looking forward to visiting in person some time! read more

This place has been on my list for a while now and i have finally gotten around to try it out! Inside is very specious and design very nice. They have a cute Aladdin and Jasmine life size poster when you first walk in. You can also see their famous ice cream to the right also. I came in wanting the kunafa. I actually came back two days in a row because i didn't realize i got the soft kunafa instead of the crispy. Which was fine with me because they were really good. Customer service was really good too. While waiting, they let me try one of their pastries. It was really good! My second day i came back, they made fresh crispy kunafa so i wouldn't get a small "older" piece. Which i thought was nice and thoughtful. It didn't take long neither. I will definitely be back and recommend. My next thing i want to try is the ice cream! read more

Had so much coming here for a birthday treat! Had the baklava ice cream sandwich with arabic ice cream! It may look like it will be super sweet but it was definitely so well balanced and very craveable! Also had the crunchy kunafa, previously I have only had soft which I think I prefer but great flavor and balance. I would definitely like to come back and try more! Staff is so helpful and friendly too! Seating is plentiful and really comfortable my daughter said she wanted to come back with friends! read more
