I ordered for delivery. The wait was reasonable and everything was correct in the order. The cookies and brownie were just okay-- not nasty but not great enough that I'm excited to get them again. I tried the chocolate chunk cookie, fried ice cream filled cookie, caramel corn cookie, and chocolate chunk blondie. The caramel corn cookie was the only thing that I found to be a little more than okay.
The two people working were so cool. I came in and only knew I wanted a sweet treat but didn't know which one so when they saw me confused they walked me through some of their favorite, top sellers and new releases which got my attention because they had a new snickers brookie that looked so good. I placed my order and I swear they made me the most delicious brookie Ive ever had. When I tried the brookie when I got the my car and it was warm, soft and sweet, just what I was looking for. I appreciate the suggestion and being patient with me.
Pros: -One lady was super friendly and helpful. -Cookies were flavorful, the Smores was my favorite (it was the only deluxe we tried, wish we tried more deluxes, maybe next time). -The classic chocolate Chunk was pretty good. Cons: -Some of the cookies were small, smallish medium and the one that cost more was bigger (which makes sense), but the others did not seem to have a method to the madness. -The other lady was super awkward and did not seem to know what she was doing (made it a little awkward to order at first). Especially someone came in after us and they got helped first (odd?), they were quick but a quick "I will be with you in a moment" would have been nice. -the basic cookies were rather small for the price, especially compared to competitors. I would like to see slightly larger, more uniform cookies. Also, they were just tossed in a box altogether, quite messily. One even tasty minty, btw I did not order a mint cookie. This means the cookies are probably either touching other cookies or are being stored together (which is not cool either way). This place was okay, I think if they were more organized it would be a LOT better.
Wow! These cookies were soft & sweet! Just how I like them. This was my first time checking out Insomnia Cookies and it won't be my last! Staff was super friendly. My friend and I came to shoot content and the staff was very accommodating. We asked permission to film and she even offered us suggestions on what products would look best on film. There is indoor seating so if you're excited to jump into your selections before you make it home you can def do that. I like that they have a wide selection of cookies and brownies to choose from and even cold milk to wash it down. The location is in a busy plaza but with persistence you will be able to find a spot. If you love cookies for a sweet treat this place is right up your alley!
I love walking in to the smell of fresh-baked cookies. The cookies are usually kept warm in a cookie warmer, which is an extra plus. Occasionally, they can be a bit underdone--especially the confetti deluxe--but it's still a favorite thanks to the white chocolate chips throughout. The ice cream seems to be store-bought, but it's a nice addition to pair with the cookies. I've visited several times and have noticed that staff availability can vary, particularly at night. Sometimes it seems the team is in the back preparing cookies, so walking in without anyone there to greet you consistently takes away just a bit from the dessert experience. There are no tables inside, but the line usually moves quickly when the shop is properly staffed. Parking is in a shared plaza with Blaze and Chipotle. The space is there but parking spaces can be tight and high volume of traffic in and out.
Omgeee! Great service and uhmazing flavors! They were running a limited time deal for 2 dozen for $28.75 so we grabbed 24 assorted cookies to try. So good, warm and gooey. Plus we added on a container of cream cheese frosting for $3. That way our sugar cookies wouldn't be naked! Really you can put the frosting on any of the cookies. Don't forget...open late! (Until 1 am)
Got the double chocolate mint cookie. Although now I see that my pic is blurry because daughter moved her arm too quick. lol it's only because she wanted to devour this thing. The cookie was good, nothing to rave about. It was a bit crispy around the edge and had good flavor. I'll have to go try other flavors.
So this Cookies, Brownies made Fresh here everyday are so Delicious. Wow today was my 1st time ever eating these delicious cookies here wow & now i will 100% be back here to get more cookies after eating here today...Yummy
Coookieeesss! My wife and I stopped here after dinner at Blaze Pizza next door. Perfect placement. Dinner and dessert in one stop. Insomnia Cookies isn't very large inside. You walk in to a small room with standing counters lining the walls and an ordering counter. A menu on the wall lays out all the goodies they have to offer. The thing here is obviously cookies. They have regular sized one and then deluxe. They also offer ice cream. Looking over the menu, there are plenty of options. All different kinds of cookie flavors to satisfy any craving. My wife and I both went with the "wich" option. You choose your two cookies and then you can either have icing or ice cream in the middle. I chose icing. My wife chose ice cream. After about a 5 minute wait, out came the goodness. My cookie-wich with icing in the middle was huge! One cookie was a deluxe triple chocolate and the other was a funfetti sugar cookie. I like sweet stuff and this was pretty much as sweet as it gets. The cookies were warm and soft, tons of chocolate in the triple chocolate and the funfetti, filled with sprinkles was excellent too. The icing in the middle was ample and added a ton of extra sweetness. It was almost too much! I saved about a quarter of it for the next day. My wife's cookie-wich was excellent too. She ended up not getting it in the sandwich and just had the ice cream on the side. She ordered two regular sized cookies. One was chocolate chip and the other was white chocolate macadamia nut with butter pecan ice cream in the middle. She said it was very good! We highly enjoyed our trip to Insomnia Cookies. It hit the spot for a sweet treat at the end of our random weekday date night.
IC has regular cookies, and deluxe cookies, along with brownies, ice cream and other ancillary items like milk. Regular cookies are $2 individually, Deluxe ones around $2.75 and Brownies are $3.25 approx. Mint Double Chocolate - 4/5 (Standard) Salted Caramel and Choc/Peanut Butter - 4/5 (Deluxe) Brownie - 3/5 The deluxe ones are the best things to get. They are roughly the same diameter as the cookies from Barnes and Noble Cafe. The Choc/PB one is very similar in taste to the Barnes which imo is great! The Brownie is solid. I wish there was a version with nuts. Pros: Soft and chewy cookies. I hate hard cookies, yet if they're too soft , they tend to disintegrate. This is in a good equilibrium. They sell ice cream and milk if you are craving those. They have about 6 standard flavors of ice cream They are open late and deliver to those close by. Purple color scheme. Cons: Card only! Very small interior. There are two thin tables without seats to stand and eat cookies. Given the COVID situation , it seems advisable to do take out.
Umm.... I ate my cookies before I could take any pics. I'll do that next time for sure. As there will definitely be a next time for sure. I love a good peanut butter cup chocolate chip cookie. And Insomnia has some really good ones. Also the chocolate chip minis are pretty amazing. They serve them warm. So that means you can eat the minis on your drive to wherever you are going. I joined the Loyalty Club. Although I did not get my points for my most recent purchase I am not mad. I'll make sure to pay attention next time.
I have heard about this place and wanted to try their cookies. Walked it to a very pleasant young lady behind the counter. She was very helpful. They had quite a variety of cookies to choose from we decided to do a box for us and a box as a gift for a friend. They were delish! My favorite were the chocolate chip. Yummy! I like that they are open late hours for the late night cravings! Although we arrived early evening and had the place to ourselves. Next time I have to try the ice cream too! This will be a new favorite cookie stop for my family!
OH! I went here for the first time the other day and my goodness! I'm glad there aren't a lot of locations near me. Also glad there are no drive thrus -- BECAUSE IF THERE WERE I'd be a cookie MONSTER! I order some peanut butter cookies and a brownie. Oh my God. There heated up the brownie just a bit so it was nice and warm -- I never knew just how much I loved cookies. A few days after I visited I bumped into some friends that were trying to talk each other out of coming here. Hilarious! Try them out for sure!
Stopped in for something sweet. Tried the brownie and the salted caramel deluxe with scoops of ice cream. The service was fast as the place was not crowded today. Very quiet ambiance you will be in and out quickly. In need of a sweet treat this is a must try as they are open until 1am. read more

Heard about insomnia cookies in comparison to crumble. Decided to swing by after lunch at Blaze pizza next door. Got the 6 pack which includes 5 standard cookies and 1 deluxe for about $14. These are much smaller and thin cookies compare to crumbl. So it turns out to be the same price really . We got the chocolate chip , double chocolate, chocolate mint, oatmeal, M&m, and s'mores. The box is halfway inhaled by my son and I, saving the other half for hubby when he gets home. I would say these are served fresh, soft , warm , and gooey . As another reviewer stated , the store front itself could use some work . Does not feel very inviting or put together. Very dim lighting with cookie display non existent . Cookie pictures are on the board menu , but when you order the cashier pulls it out from some built in cabinet below the register. I don't know about you , but I visually like to see my desserts so I can pick out what I'm drawn to . Cookies / cupcakes / donuts etc that are pre made will usually have a glass display to house them. Which made me wonder and ask casually ...'are these cookies baked fresh daily ?' (Simple question right) the cashiers response was ...'umm I'm sorry I heard you but completely forgot your question' no pressure intended , I paid for the items thanked her and quickly walked out . Not sure that I will be back unless we're really craving cookies . read more

Took my family to Insomnia Cookies on Fowler for a treat. The place was small and quaint. It was also clean and the staff were friendly. The kids choose to make their own Ice Creem Cookie Sandwiches. We choose a box of warm cookies. They were all super delicious! The kids loved being able to select two different cookie tops and bottoms then whatever ice cream they liked. The kids at first thought the cookies must have melatonin or something because of the name. I had to explain the customer base of the USF and how a late night cookie spot is a genius idea. read more

I went to the Blaze Pizza and while picking up the order for Blaze Pizza I decided to pick up cookies from Insomnia Cookies. It has different cookie options and it is very difficult to choose from the options available. It has also options available with ice cream. From the options available i decided to order Double Chocolate Mint Cookie & White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie. We loved the cookies. The cookies were delicious and tasty. My personal favorite was White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie. Loved the cookie. One of the best I have tried. I will definitely try other options as well. read more

Tasty cookies and ice cream! My rating is 5 stars for food, but 4 stars for delivery. The business would set themselves up for greater customer satisfaction if they were honest about the delivery time. You can't get warm cookies anywhere else, so just own it! My cookies have been in my house for 15 minutes and the chocolate is still warm and gooey. I think an estimate of 15 to 30 minutes (given the time to deliver food of the highest standards, i.e. that oven fresh greatness) would allow for Tampa traffic and any other delivery issues. read more
Soft Gooey Mushy Warm Delicious Husband and I went to Chipotle and popped over to Insomnia bc he's never been. This place is VERY expensive. A SMALL milk is over $3 and 6 cookies are no less than $11- EEK! We had two cookies that totaled $4. The cookies were ssssssooooo good! Just the right amount of gooey and chocolate and cookies. We loved loved loved them, especially bc they came out warm!! In addition to their over priced cookies they also had over priced ice cream and ice cream/cookie sandwiches. I didn't appreciate that they uncomfortably tried to upsale us MANY times. To the point where it became uncomfortable- VERY uncomfortable, in my opinion. The services was VERY fast. This is a small space- no tables or chairs and the cookies are already made so not a lot of waiting. When we walked in there were four families in front of us and it was our turn before we could even read the menu. read more

Had a great time and the cookies were warm and fresh! Employees Neyoncé and Alex were great with their customer service and welcoming attitude. Lovely experience overall :)) will be returning in the near future for sure !! read more

I stopped by during my lunch break and was immediately taken aback by the interiors. The store was dimly lite and felt like there could be a bit more cleaning. The cashier came around the corner and it appeared as if she had just woken up. It was my first visit so I was uncertain on what I'd purchase. I opted for three cookies. When it was time to pay I was surprise to learn that so not accept cash. The past meal chocolate chip walnut cookie was delicious! I'm pretty sure the confetti cookie I was given isn't wa hat I ordered, but my son enjoyed it. I'm willing to give them a second chance but wasn't overly impressed. read more
