Very Berry Roll
Kristie L.

Service was great and the staff was very patient and explained the menu and dietary suggested. The inside is quant and bright. The options are awesome! If you want chocolate, fruit,or cinnamon- it's here. I personally like the berry one the best. Not too sweet and the fruit was fresh and a perfect balance. The cinnamon apple was too much for me. It was good but very sweet. We also got a chocolate chip and brownies. The cookie was very good. Definitely check them out of you want a different kind of dessert.

Strawberry Cheesecake Crunch Roll

I've had this spot on my radar for some time now after making the plant-based transition and on my it's so worth it! There is absolutely no detection of missing out or alternative flavors from a typical dairy-filled cinnamon roll. It is extremely decadent and rich though and I highly suggest sharing and eating it right away as it's served warm and gooey. I am very happy I finally got to try this place out. All dessert lovers would have a blast with these rolls.

First time here. There is so many to choose from. Definitely shareable and large cinnamon rolls! I had to try the Old skool which is their plain one and tried the Very Berry roll. Best when eaten right away and warm. It was delicious!

This place is the best. I got 4 of the seasonal rolls and brought them to my friends for a girls night. We were all OBSESSED. The presentation is amazing but they taste even better somehow. The employees are just lovely and you can tell they try their best to perfect the rolls for you! I appreciated the recommendations they gave me because I wanted literally everything - it was so hard to narrow down what to order.

If you are a cinnamon roll lover, this is your spot. I got the campfire smores cinnamon roll and it was to die for. They also had mini cinnamon rolls that were very good. The service was fast and the employees were friendly and made great recommendations.

Craving something sweet, my husband was really in the mood for a cinnamon roll and luckily, we were within walking distance when we found this gem of a shop! One of the first things I noticed was how clean and inviting the space was. And the smell? Absolutely amazing. I even complimented it to the lady behind the counter, who was so friendly and welcoming. She let us know that all their cinnamon rolls are made fresh to order, which I really appreciated. She kindly told us it would be about 15 minutes until the next batch was ready, which we didn't mind at all. We grabbed a seat at one of the cozy little tables and waited. We decided on the Peanut Butter Cheesecake cinnamon roll--and wow. The moment we took a bite, we couldn't believe how delicious it was. Honestly, it was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. It was so good that later that week, I had my husband pick up the Biscoff Cheesecake flavor on his way home from work--and personally, that one became my absolute favorite. Soft, rich, and full of flavor, these rolls are next-level good. I'll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a sweet treat to stop by. You won't be disappointed!

I have to give them credit because I did not eat my cinnamon bun hot in fact I ate it 12 hours later and it was still delicious. That Cinnaholic cookie was hands-down one of the best cookies I have ever eaten very soft in the middle, but nice and crispy and buttery and cinnamon-y on the outside!! 4/5 stats only because it wasn't as soft as your other cinnamon bun selling place, but the taste was great.

Service: The young lady working was so kind and sweet, and at first we were just looking and she started telling me how she just took some cinnamon rolls fresh out the oven and that they are vegan. I was sold! She then explained the menu to us. A sweet vegan treat, perfect! Food: Ordered the raspberry cheesecake cinnamon roll and it was amazingly delicious! I also got a chocolate chip cookie, really amazing and soft! Whatever your preference I'm sure you will love it! Enjoy!

Worst employee experience ever. The young lady was clearly hung over and a complete jerk. Huge black X's on her hand from last nights partying. Didn't acknowledge us, didn't speak clearly or answer our questions , had her earbuds in. Tried to tip her nicely because wanted to bless her and she was a jerk about it and didn't even acknowledge it or at least say thank you. Would never ever eat there again because of service. Messed up the order and didn't get everything. The food was ok but not for that level of service.

We love Cinnaholic!! If you're in the mood for a sweet treat this is definitely the place to go. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful when picking out your sweets. The rolls are always made fresh to order and dairy/ egg free which is wonderful for people with allergies. I really enjoy their seasonal menu suggestions, they are always so cute in the display case too. They have limited seating inside and no outside seating so it's very congested when they get a busy rush, I've been in other Cinnaholic locations so this seems normal for the brand. Parking is free on street or down the block in a small lot.

So I had the opportunity to visit Cinnaholic in South Tampa. I have been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally had the opportunity to come by. First off, the place was pretty much nice and had a good atmosphere. The staff were attentive and nice. But I did come out unimpressed and disappointed. Here's why: I selected to drink some hot cocoa with marshmallows. It was good. But the staff only filled it up halfway. I'm not one to complain, but that did not give me a good impression. Next, I selected a Maple Caramel Roll. Again, it was okay, but I was not impressed with the presentation. It was a bit messy and It certainly did not look how its portrayed. So overall, to me, it was not all that hype it was portrayed to be in the Social Media Apps. It didn't give me a wow factor. If you like Cinnamon Buns and all that, then it might be a place to come try, but you can probably find other places where you can enjoy a good Cinnamon Bun as well. But again, that's just my opinion.

Cinnamon bun with icing and fruit toppings

Everything was amazing! I ordered a build your own cinnamon bun bar for my work colleagues - their staff delivered to my work at 7:30 am and were very professional and cheery! Made my morning! The buns with a bunch of icings and toppings were a hit with my co workers, everyone was very impressed! They also gave us individual boxes to keep our buns in which made it even more fun! I will definitely order again! Highly recommend!

Classic cinnamon rolls to go and dole whip with fresh strawberries
Ashley W.

Quaint dessert shop Parking available on one side of the building / or public parking A few tables and chairs but not a huge sit down area - gives take home vibes The dole whip is my favorite treat as I usually wait for the Fl State Fair to indulge Its light , not overly sweet - they have pineapple, strawberry, and swirl For the cinnamon rolls to be the main attraction, I would have liked for the base to be more flavorful it is a little basic to me a- They do have multiple toppings you can add but I wanted to try the original first Icing options vary which I like and I opted for the original cream cheese which was very good no complaints there I would recommend if doing the original bun to opt for the ones made fresh versus the pre- packaged ones - I chose this route as I wanted to have the cinnamon rolls for later Site is clean and staff is very helpful in assisting as well as personable

First off, the crunch is so loud it could qualify as a sound effect in an action movie. I took one bite and half expected someone to yell "CUT!" The chicken itself is juicy, but let's be honest it's really just a vehicle for that bang bang sauce, which tastes like sweet, spicy, and "text your ex you've changed" all rolled into one. I told myself I'd share. That was a lie. A bold faced, shameless lie. The plate hit the table and suddenly I turned into a territorial raccoon guarding its last meal. By the end, my fingers were sticky, my dignity was gone, and I was seriously considering ordering a second round like I hadn't just embarrassed myself in public.

This is a new dish, if you can even call it one. Literally two slices of tuna, no side of sauce which it's supposed to have, a bunch of old cabbage for filling (even though the new container is half the size as it is), and what could be nothing else but soggy potato chips (yes, literally they put in chips, I don't even know how else to put it except it literally had chips in it). Pathetic. Completely pathetic.

We've celebrated multiple birthdays there with groups of 20-25 women, and they always make the experience feel effortless. While many Tampa restaurants require deposits, minimum spends, or limited menus for large parties, Oak & Ola simply welcomes us with open arms and genuinely seems happy to have us there. The service is consistently impeccable, the food is both beautiful and absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself offers a gorgeous atmosphere with stunning waterfront views. It's clear that every detail matters to them. They reserve a special table for gifts, have even printed custom "Happy Birthday" menus for us, and on our most recent visit, Chef Margaret came out personally to wish the birthday girl a happy birthday. Our servers were phenomenal. They anticipated every need, kept everything running smoothly for such a large group, and never missed a beat. Coordinating a party our size is no small task, yet they made it look easy while making every single person feel cared for. If you're looking for a restaurant with exceptional food, outstanding service, and a team that truly knows how to make guests feel special, Oak & Ola is one of the very best in Tampa. Otherwise, all items were delectable and provided complex flavors. My standouts were the pork belly, the beet and crab salad, the duck confit special, the hogfish (and I'm not even a fish person!), the chicken Milanese, and the toffee pudding. You must go here and try these dishes! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning.

My husband and I ordered the same thing but they tasted very different. We both got medium steaks, the one he got was a proper medium while mine medium rare to rare. The host made us feel incredibly unwelcome. We asked for a table and she informed us there weren't any (which is fine, a little attitude but I get it we didn't have a reservation) so we went to the lounge area. While there, we saw online that they did have availability so we booked. We spent over 30 mins in the lounge and no one took our order. When it was time for our table the host was aggressive as soon as she recognized us, said that the system online was wrong and that there are no tables. So we went back to the lounge.. honestly to figure out where to go next. Shortly after we got a message saying our table was ready, when my husband asked about it, she told him to sit back down that she will tell us when it's truly ready. Anyways, she came back reluctantly, saying that I guess people canceled so we can go in. The server was nice but was rarely there and would take a long time doing things like bringing menu.

**Sunda -- Asian Fusion (2nd visit)**…read more Went back to Sunda specifically for their limited-time Caviar Sunday, and it did not disappoint -- but let's start with the food that came before it. We opened with the **tiger shrimp tempura** -- candied walnuts and a creamy honey aioli. Smaller than I expected, roughly half-dollar sized, but tender, sweet, and generous in portion. The candied walnuts and honey aioli combo leaned sweeter than a classic honey walnut shrimp, with a little bang bang shrimp energy minus the spice. Trying to pace ourselves for dessert, we kept the rest light: the signature crispy rice (Wagyu and spicy tuna versions, split two apiece), The Great White (escolar), and the lemongrass beef lollipops. The Great White was well-balanced and delicious. The lemongrass beef -- sliced NY strip wrapped around a lemongrass stalk with ginger soy -- was solid but not a standout; the lemongrass flavor was subtle and the chili barely registered. Fair warning: it comes out well past medium-rare since it's wrapped and cooked that way, and the server didn't ask for a temperature preference. Good, but not something I'd reorder. The crispy rice was tasty but not a personal favorite -- the Wagyu and spicy tuna toppings themselves were great, just not sold on the crispy rice base. The standout of the savory round was the lobster Wagyu roll -- lobster and Wagyu tataki with a duck pâté aioli, sort of a surf-and-turf sushi roll. Pricier than the other rolls, but the combination justified it. Definitely ordering that again. **Now, the main event: Caviar Sunday.** Our server mentioned this particular caviar brand is a favorite of a certain pop star's, which was a fun detail. The tower itself was a showpiece -- diced and quartered dragon fruit, lychee, blueberries, crispy rice balls (first time trying those, loved them), plus passionfruit and ube sauces on the side. It came with turon (Filipino plantain egg rolls) and vanilla ice cream, essentially a build-your-own sundae kit with caviar mixed in. Caviar with ice cream sounded strange going in, but the salt-sweet balance worked. Genuinely unique, and I'd order it again without hesitation. It's not cheap, but it's roughly half the price of their standalone caviar entrée for the same amount of caviar -- so relatively speaking, it's the smarter way to get it. Service was excellent throughout -- good pacing suggestions so we didn't over-order before dessert, and when we couldn't finish the tower, our server packed the leftovers carefully on ice so we could enjoy round two at home. My one regret: ordering a double espresso with dessert. Good on its own, but it clashed with the tropical, ice cream-heavy flavors -- that one's on me, not the kitchen. Sunda remains a place I'll keep coming back to.
