I visited the store today and was surprised with the renovations that have been done since the last time I was here. Nice upgrade from before. The ice cream was great as usual. One disappointing thing was the very pungent air fragrance that filled the store. So much so that it changed the taste of the ice cream. It was so strong that it permiated my clothes. Had to shower when I got home to rid myself of the odor. This was never a problem before the renovation. I will not be returning to this store unless it changes. read more

We ordered by Doordash and were amazed by the ice cream - SO good. The vanilla was sweet with a light fragrant taste. Cookies and cream had so many cookie chunks and was just very tasty. The peanut butter was so good with peanut butter cups and actual swirls of peanut butter - very good. I'm so picky about mint. It has to be right. And they do it right. With big chunks of chocolate throughout. Ice cream alone would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, we went for the package that included 6 cookies. Every cookie had a terrible aftertaste. It was strangely almost like the aftertaste when something has been in the freezer not wrapped well. Even looking past the aftertaste (which is HARD because it was bad), the actual flavor and texture of the cookies were pretty sub-par. Banana split on the menu! Count me in! Every ice cream place makes it just a little different and I always like to see how each one makes it. Here is very traditional with your hard scooped chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream topped with strawberry's, pineapples, and chocolate sauce. The toppings are made with the real fruit so not that syrupy stuff that has no fruit in it at all mess. And of course whipped cream, cherry, peanuts. A few of my last banana splits have not been topped with peanuts and that's the sprinkle to my heart. The place is absolutely adorable and the ladies working this evening were super friendly. My youngest sister is diabetic so having sugar free option for her is why I'm giving this place 5 stars. They have tons of flavors so def give them a looksies if you're in the area. At first we were skeptical because there's a huge sign in the front that was gluten/vegan free (when we're very much dairy lovers). We still walked in and we're surprised that it was that many ice cream flavors that were in fact -- dairy based, and had GF/V options. It is a Hong Kong style bubble waffle that is slightly less eggy traditional waffle batter, shoved into a cup and covered in ice cream and toppings. Never again. We decided on ice cream after eating dinner next door. We ordered two shakes: oreo dream and butter pecan. We missed the sign about dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan. As we ordered no one explained anything to us so we have no idea if that's what we had. Do they have dairy ice cream? I tried to find a store description online with no success. The shakes tasted like flavored water. When we asked about a missing Oreo on the Oreo dream, we were told that they now crumble the Oreo and don't include a whole cookie on top. My husband pointed out that the pictures were deceiving. We expected chunks of cookies and/or nuts but they were blended down to nothing. I got the dirty banana on a puffle "cone" and it was so yummy. I was surprised by all of the flavor and cone varieties they had to choose from. They even had an ice cream cookie option which is so unique. I don't know an ice cream shop that has that option, or maybe I haven't been to many ice cream shops. They also had an interesting selection of sodas in bottles, there aren't many places that I've seen sell soda in vintage looking bottles like that. I'd have to try it out someday. This was a phenomenal find! They have different kind of cookies, and make you an ice cream sandwich with your choice of hard dipped ice cream and heat it in a waffle iron like thing. This place is really adorable and fun when you walk in. There's an extensive selection of glass bottle sodas, candy, and of course, ice cream. But, several things really turned me off. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I am positive the toilet, sink, floor, etc. hasn't been cleaned in weeks. I hate even posting a photo here because of all of the people wanting to see food. Me and my partner was very rushed in trying to pick a flavor of ice cream. Before we even could see them all, a teen was abrupt and short with what we wanted to order. Luckily we were able to ignore him and continue looking at the flavors. Another employee, who was more polite, asked if we would like to sample any. We sampled a few and was finally able to select what flavors we wanted. I do have to advise anyone that wants to try the Cookie Monster. I thoroughly enjoyed my praline, caramel crunch and my other friend was very happy with her rum raisin. As we chatted and laughed while slurping away my friend with the puffle cone noticed something strange in the bottom of her cone. As it turns out there was a sponge in the bottom of her cone. Don't ask. I don't know how it got there. Since she had eaten most of the ice cream she did not make any disruption or complaint at the chill bar. It is a sweet little shop with nice young people working there. My only caveat is look to see what is lurking at the bottom of your puffle cone before you eat the cone. read more
