They also sell mochi and macaroons. Cheesecake macaroons: 0/5 -- They did not taste anything like cheesecake so very disappointing. Drink: 4/5 -- They have a good selection of flavors & customizations that cost extra including $0.25 extra for less ice ($1 extra for less ice on a large cup which is also $1 extra). They also offer a split cup option for two flavors. I tried the Thai tea & Hokkaido Milk Tea and both flavors were delicious and well mixed. I do not get boba in my drinks so can't comment on that. I dislike that they don't have smaller straws for drinks that don't have boba. The boba straws made it difficult to drink the last remaining sips in the split cups.
We decided it was warm enough to go have a chilled milk tea. I had a mango milk tea with fruit boba. There are signs & opaque plexiglass separating the employee from the customer, so you go up to a kiosk & place your order there. Then someone slides completed orders through a small gap at the end of the plexiglass. My drink was good, but very small & full of ice. As a result it was tasty but in not too many sips, it was gone. This place was good, but there's nothing special compelling me to return.
After going to a yelp event near by I decided to treat myself to one of the best tea spots in Tampa. Of course I always like to try something new and when I saw the tiramisu milk tea I was sold. This drink is definitely my new favorite. It's the perfect blend of coffee flavor and sweetness while still giving milk tea. Definitely recommend trying it.
What a cute boba shop! I ordered the passion fruit mango iced tea with aloe jellies. Super refreshing and next time I'll have to try a milk tea with cheese foam! I'd recommend to also try the option where it's two drinks in one split cup (if you are in-between two options). They have a large amount of tea options and an easy self checkout iPad. You also have the choice to buy mochi ice cream and macarons!
Super friendly staff who helped my 15 year old mentee make her boba choice! It was only her second time having boba and it was really nice to hear the woman explain everything for her. She loved it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was cutely decorated for Halloween and they even offered free holiday stickers for all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The macarons were light and fluffy and the mochi was delicious as were the milk teas. You order through a screen, so you lose out on that personal touch, and most of the items lack a description- perhaps most patrons know what they want, but I always appreciate descriptions. Nonetheless, it was service with a smile when they handed us our order.
Another one of my favorite places to go in Tampa. Teastori offers seasonal decorations and a variety of bubble teas. The boba pearls made here are my favorite pearls. There is self service ordering and more on the menu including macaroons and mochis! : absolutely love, will come back, can't wait to try more things and bring people here : pretty good, some quality issues, would return again : simple stuff, nothing crazy here, location could not be clean or employees not friendly : I may give this place a chance to improve at least one more time : I will not be returning here
If it's a boba place in Tampa, we try it! This place is tiny but modern and very well decorated with the Uber cuteness of an Asian cafe. They play Asian pop music (mostly K-Pop and K-Pop) and have wall mounted ordering machines to eliminate the long lines. It's kind of like the Crumble of the Boba world. I really like they have unique flavors like strawberry milke rose (my new favorite) as well as traditional flavors like Taro and matcha. I had to get the half and half split flavored boba which I think is awesome for people who can't decide between the two flavors.
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty slow in there. I was helped immediately by the sweetest cashier and my drink came out fast. I normally just order Thai milk tea BUT when an opportunity for a split cup introduces itself I have to do it . The boba pearls are probably the best I've had since moving to the Tampa area and the tea itself was really good as well. Whenever I'm in this area this will be a must stop for all of my boba needs!
Cute, busy, & quick The go to place for quick fun drinks. The Saturday afternoon I visited there was a line and both kiosk were busy so someone started running the register. Due to the small space the register has an intercom. I ordered Galaxy limeade and the split drink with jasmine and matcha milk tea. I wish there was an option to mix the milk teas and a larger drink size but this will die for now

The boba was phenomenal and the coffee was amazing too. The service was decent we were met by a calm and patient server. It was our first time there but the menu was easy to read and understandable. Such a cute spot! Love that north Tampa and USF area is getting some good spots. The galaxy limemade went down too easy in this heat and loved the option for lychee boba. The cake batter mochi was good but I didn't really taste the cake batter part.. I love mochi itself so I enjoyed it regardless. read more

Drinks were yummy but I think they're a little bit more expensive than what I'd usually pay for. Glad we stopped by though, staff is very friendly. read more

This place is pretty nifty. I like the idea that you can order what you would like via touch screen and pay there. Saves time from staring at the menu and figuring out what you want, when instead you can just scroll through and click as you go. I had never seen the split cup before, so of course I had to try that. Why not get TWO drinks for the price of ONE?! I for sure will be going back here and love that it is just around the corner from my house so when I want Boba, I know where to go. read more
Small but mighty- TeaStori is nothing special on the outside. And what they are lacking in space on the inside, they make up for in serving up awesome drinks. In case you didn't get that- it's small, stuffy, and definitely cozy in the store. It's really quite cute, but not near enough room for the amount of people that come in and out on a daily basis. It's a popular place. I like that they had a few more options than just boba, like macarons and mochi ice cream. You order using one of their giant touch screens and away you go. It's nice and (mostly) efficient. Their boba was fantastic. I got a split cup, which is an awesome option if you want to try more than one flavor. I always have that issue- I want to try everything so it's perfect for me, haha. I got the chai milk tea and taro. The tapioca was soft and chewy and just the way it should be and I was super happy I made the stop. The story to tell is that TeaStori knows what they're doing! read more

The boba itself is tasty and feels like a high quality snack. The man behind the counter that checked me out was very kind and friendly. These boba drinks were meh, it was almost $20 for these two drinks and that alone just left me speechless, because that much, for drinks??? I can't be the only one that thinks that's crazy, right? Because of the price I expected the drinks to taste amazing, however, they were extremely watery. I needed to wait outside with my dog, my bf was the one that got our drinks, so I didn't get to see how these drinks were made -- if these are tea based or just water with flavored powder, but I am very sure these drinks are just water and flavored powder. The consistency is too watery to be tea with milk/some kind of cream base. And the boba was hard, not chewy. There was a mixture of some soft ones but it was not consistent, making this overall experience an unpleasant one. I understand prices are increased to get a split cup, but if you're going to charge this much, provide quality drinks! read more

I don't care about decor or "cuteness factor"; I care about quality, taste, and service. The menu looked interesting, so I ordered something I've never had before: thai green tea matcha, with less ice (for which I had to pay an extra $0.50, no less). Plus apparently I have to tip, regardless of whether or not I want to do it. When the drink came it was at least 1/3 ice. When I asked the server about it she insisted that she "put less ice in". Less ice than what? A glass of ice cubes? As for the taste -- boring. Thai tea traditionally is very flavorful -- not this version! All I got was a generally sweet green drink that was mostly ice. Not sure if I'll give them another try. read more

Stopped by because I was in the area. (I sure wished we had one in Riverview/Brandon, but ai digress) Before you even enter the store, they set their standards: required masked, must be fully clothed, and its intolerance for racism and homophobia. These small gesture made the place quite welcoming and reassuring for someone like myself. They have removed their in-store seating/dining and replaced it with a wall of plastic just in case the lines start to zig zag when busy (which is typical PreCOVID, I've been with the line out the door), I wish I snagged a picture. They have a million mask to choose from, the options wrap the store. The self serve mochi is no long self serve; there is a plexiglass wall blocking employees and mochi freezer from customers. The use a microphone system so it is great to hear them. The employees were super nice when I recently visited, not really offering help with the extensive menu but that's okay, I sort of remembered from long before. Choose your tea, your sweetness level, and your add-ins. Lavender Milk Tea Extra Sweet is my suggestion if you like floral flavors bht they have SOO many options. Horrible parking situation, FYI. Might have to drive around a bit. Other than that, great Experience ! read more

Easy and safe way to get a bubble tea fix during the pandemic. I live about 30 minutes away from Bobacup, so it is no easy feat for us to get here. I mean, if I didn't have a two-year-old I'd consider coming a lot more often, but there is only so much Disney+ I can handle when trying to keep him from losing it during an hour round trip ride. However, hands down, this is one of the safest experiences when getting food. You put your order in online in their incredibly robust ordering platform, park in the parking spaces in front of the building, they walk out with a whiteboard with numbered names of orders, you hold up your finger with which number you are and then they come back with your order. The employees wear masks. Phenomenal. The ordering platform is top notch. It gives you all the options that you would normally get in the store. I'll have to ask my friend Chris W., if he is able to get his standard order, which isn't on the menu, but if you are a normal Bobacup goer like the rest of us, you should have no problem getting what you want. (Seriously, if you want your mind blown you should go see how many check-ins Chris W. has at Bobacup.) I got a split cup lavendar and matcha with honey boba. Honey boba is their version of boba and it is free in June. I only mention this, because Brett N. decided to forgo free honey boba, because he didn't realize that meant the normal tapioca balls. Yes, feel free to make fun of Brett N. for this. We also got 13 mochi ice cream (if you order 10 you get 3 free. We actually ended up only getting 12 because they forgot one of ours. Since it was a "free" one, I wasn't that upset about it, but check your order before you leave!) For the mochi ice cream, we got salted caramel, thai tea (which is a new favorite of mine), matcha (always good), chocolate, ube (which isn't a flavor I'm that familiar with so I had to try it. It was good, but I'd probably keep going back to the thai tea) and black sesame (which ranks up there with thai tea for me, so good). The drinks are always on point, so I really enjoyed my lavender and matcha bubble tea. I'm kind of lucky we don't live closer or else I'd possibly be matching Chris W. with my visit numbers (probably not, but I can dream). If you are worried about your health during COVID-19, this is a great place to get your bubble tea fix. read more

Came here today as everyone knows I'm a repeat customer!! They are now open for walk-in business and did a great job with ensuring safety. They have plastic up to separate folks in the line and arrows on the ground that ensure social distancing. Plexiglass is installed to separate the staff from the customers and they have a small pickup window located inside down from the register. If you're in need of a mask they have plenty of those available and are super duper cute. I had to refrain myself from getting the Hello Kitty one they had. If I had known they were 15% off today I would've totally purchased it!!! If you're in the market for loose leaf teas they have bags of those available for purchase as well. While in line I saw they had caucus glass cups and we HAD to get them!!! When we purchase a refillable cup they give you free boba on each visit, just bring your cup! Even though they aren't filling the refillable cups when you bring them in, she did advise me that they'd give us the disposable one and honor the free boba. How cool is that!? Oh and did I mention you also get a cool reusable straw!! Oh yea :) Also, the staff was super friendly and even washed our straws before we placed them in our cups to use. Love this place!!! Today I got the matcha with almond milk and although I wasn't a total fan of it I'm still going to keep coming here and stick to my Honey Green Tea. read more
Had to update my review, their teas have gotten sooooo much better. I remember when I first tried this years ago, it tasted kind of powdery to me but man, it's so delicious now and the people are soooo friendly. Also love the fact that they change the theme of the place every season. So unique! read more
I think they might have it together now...but we'll see. Ok so it's been like 3 or 4 years since my last review. Bobacup had been so inconsistent that I just didn't care to come back to see what else had changed for the worst. It went from having hot food to no hot food to having mediocre Boba drinks too extravagant bubble drinks...i was just tired of not knowing what to expect every time I showed up. this time I ordered a Matcha green tea snow slushas a test and I have to say this might be the greatest one I've ever had in my life. A huge contrast from the one I had here four years ago that was basically light yellow. I can't say that this was the best Matcha green tea boba smoothie I've ever had, but it was solid and I knew I was getting the benefit of matcha drinking it. It definitely wasn't too milky which bothers me. The interior of Bobacup is super cute. It has always been a very clean establishment and the workers have always been pleasant. I came in a week before Christmas and it had taste full holiday decorations! Decore changes I have no problem with but constantly changing the menu and what's offered every single time I came in weeks apart was just too much in the past. I noticed they still had the macaroons and I didn't have the nerve to try one due to my last non-tasteful experience, but they looked cute. There is also a self-serve mochi station. I do love mochi so I'll probably come back to try some flavors. I'll be back to see if everything is consistent. read more

My review was over three years ago! I'm not a pooper so my review shouldn't be. There are so many options on their menu. I love that and the prices, they are not too bad at all. Tiramisu milk tea caught my eye and so did the hawaiian pog tea - passion fruit orange and guava... But I chose the unicorn ube milk shake with passion fruit boba. Such a fun yummy drink. They also have the frozen mochi and macarons so there's a lot of sweet goodness! I wish I can try a bunch but I'm not as cool as Chris, he's the bomb dude of Bobacup!!! read more
You gotta come here before your time is UP Or right after signing your PRE-NUP You gotta bring your dog while it's still a PUP You have to come and try Tampa's BOBACUP If you hate my raps I don't give a F**K If you want me to stop, you're out of LUCK I know luck and cup don't rhyme but I don't give a F**K (and yes I know I already rhymed with F**K) But you need to come and drink at BOBACUP! WHAT! I ended up with red blotches all over myself, and wasn't too thrilled about it. Oh wait, that was when I went Bobacupping. So Bobacup has really super cute decor and the whole of the store is just so lovely. Howevwer, the employees told me there was no other location, lol, there is. I went to the one in Gainesville a day or two later, and I definitely think that one has even better decor, but from my experience, this one has better products and may be even friendlier than GFL. This local mini-chain certainly spends a lot of their effort on their above-and-beyond-amazing decor and on innovative ideas and popular stuff and doing split cups and being super cute for people to come in and study and take Instapix - even more so at the Gainesville location - but I think they should probably put more effort into the actual taste and authenticity of the products, because the drinks aren't amazing... but they are most certainly a very lovely and friendly place, and I have to give them (just about) a 5, considering that Florida boba standards are awfully low, and by those standards, I can award this a 5 and still sleep at night. Or you can come over and we can not sleep at night (shrug). read more

Bobacup was first introduced to me by a friend a few years back. I've stopped in over the years and it is always consistently good service and product. It's an itty bitty little spot but has enough room for a few sitting areas so and is decorsted pleasingly. I almost always get a taro or a honeydew slush. Luckily today I went with my Husband and we both got my favorites, see pics. They also sell mochi, macarons and I believe, loose tea. I miss the days when they sold snacks like spring rolls but they said they didn't receive enough sales from them. If you like boba, tea, sweet treats, etc I truly don't think you can go wrong by stopping into Bobacup. They even sell splut flavor cups if you can't decide! Or reusable glass cups that get you a free add-on like boba, bursting boba, fruit gel, etc. read more

Teastori is a very solid local spot for boba milk tea in Tampa. There are tons of local restaurants in the same strip mall so this is great for a little after dinner dessert. Drinks- 3/5. Pictured is the ube x taro milk tea in a split cup with matcha milk tea, both with mini bobas. The ube x taro was a great choice, wonderful and delicious. The matcha was a bit watery and lacking in flavor. It was my first time having mini boba and I recommend the regular size for nice full sips of tapioca. Mochi- 5/5. Highly, highly recommend trying some of the many mochi flavors! They have a great assortment and my ube mochi was my favorite part of the experience. The ratio of dough to ice cream was perfect and it was rich in flavor which can be tricky with ube. Atmosphere- 5/5. Very beautiful little shop with endearing photos along the wall. The music is great and the staff was helpful. It was nice and easy to navigate the self-order and checkout machines. I just hope they don't skip out on quality ingredients for the sake of aesthetics (matcha). I did find it a bit on the pricey side, the boba is an additional cost so beware. Overall, I would recommend you stop at Teastori for a standard, refreshing milk tea. read more

There are still currently doing take out only but I love their system. You go in, order at a self kiosk, and then you wait for your drink in which is was received. We ordered the galaxy tea, royal milk tea, and split drink with milk tea and strawberry rose milk tea. The best one was the galaxy lemon tea, it was so refreshing and delish. The others were okay. I would definitely return for that tea but not the others. The efficiency of this place was great and wait was about 5-10 minutes because there was already a line but I enjoyed my time there. read more
I love you so MATCHA Located near #USF , this aesthetic boba spot's creativity shines alongside its delicate decor & has delicious options available at just the touch of a button (aka the machine you use to order)! Here we've got the Strawberry Rose milk tea with whipped cream and boba, which was very yummy. He got the Matcha Tiger Fresh milk tea, and I believe there is either a drizzle of brown sugar or caramel that takes it to another level of LOVELY . The four stars are for the prices, which is a bit extra for the boba itself or adding almond milk. Other than that, the tea was very delicious! read more

You can substitute dairy milk for an alternative on some drinks and I believe they do have a vegan menu.

So do they still make the Japanese styles ice cream crepe? Or the Hong Kong waffle cone? Just wanted to know their current food options since I'm traveling from Orlando.
Thank you Chris W for your assistance. Unfortunately, our Taiyaki machine and soft serve machine is down for repairs at the moment. We currently have only one flavor of soft serve as we quickly find a solution to the mechanical parts.
