Absolutely recommend. 20/10 no notes!!! Tucked into a plaza, I've seen this spot so many times and finally was able to check it out. The inside is a decent size with tables, cute decor and lots of plants. When I first walked in, I was taken back by how beautiful the pastry display cases were!! I had the hardest time choosing which pastry to get because they all looked like works of art!! Super friendly staff, great service but now to get to the goods: the coffee and pasties. This is a true authentic French bakery, no doubt in my mind. The iced salted caramel latte is the best I have EVER had. I could taste every flavor and it blended with the coffee perfectly. The ham and cheese croissant was so flakey, the perfect ham ratio and just all around fantastic. The pastry I got had raspberry jam and white chocolate ganache (I don't remember the name of it) and it was seriously the best pastry I've ever had. Most pastries can be too sweet, but this was just right. The jam tasted fresh and homemade (probably is!) and the white chocolate ganache gave it just a touch of sweetness. I stopped in the restaurant for lunch. The whole shopping center was packed, but they did have front and back parking options. I got the Cuban as a recommendation from the woman taking my order. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a warm and welcoming hello from the person behind the counter. She was very friendly and upbeat, and I noticed she was doing the same for everyone who came in -- greeting each guest as they walked through the door, which created a really inviting atmosphere. The space itself is quaint and inviting, and the pastry displays immediately catch your eye. The croissants and desserts on display honestly look like little pieces of food art. Everything looked beautifully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. I actually sat down to enjoy a little "breakfast and a book" moment, and the environment felt relaxed and comfortable. They were playing music while I was there, so next time I visit I'll probably bring headphones so I don't get distracted while reading. I stopped in around 10 a.m., and parking was still available, but by the time I left a little after 11 a.m. it was getting pretty scarce. If you plan to visit, I'd definitely recommend coming a little earlier in the morning to make parking easier. What I ordered: * Salted Caramel Latte -- smooth, rich, and nicely balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. * Honey Caramel, Bacon, Smoked Gouda and Egg Croissant Sandwich -- a buttery, flaky croissant filled with egg, bacon, smoked gouda, and a hint of honey caramel that tied everything together beautifully. The egg was very fluffy and well cooked, although personally I would have preferred a little more bacon to balance the egg. Compared to the generous portion of egg, the meat portion felt a bit small for my taste. Even though I'm gluten intolerant, I honestly decided to risk it all for this croissant sandwich, and it was worth it. Thankfully I didn't have any bad reactions afterward -- luckily I'm not celiac. Their coffee selection is great, and they offer a nice assortment of breakfast pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and beautifully crafted desserts. I was also told their macarons are gluten-free, which means I'll definitely be back to try those. Next time I'd love to try a chocolate croissant, one of their soufflés, and maybe take home one of their beautiful desserts or some of the gluten-free macarons. Would I come back? Absolutely. Let's get down the brass tax. While all the pastries were beautiful I want to honestly add my opinion. Me and my sister bought: * A parfait looking thing in a jar(do not recall). 3/10 was okay not worth the price. * Passionfruit cheesecake($16.50). 6/10 was tasty but something I won't ever want again. * Strawberry Japanese cheesecake($15): 1/10 no real strawberry flavor. Fell super flat but the barista said it was one of their top tier items. * Madeline($4 for 1): 0.5/10 It was a mid cookie, with no real flavor. I would go as far to say Starbucks packaged ones are 2x better. * Yuzu orange blossom refresher($8): 5/10 While the flavor was nice the glass was tiny and stuffed with ice. * Lavender latte hot($9): 3/10 My sister drank this and they sprinkled actual lavender flowers on top of the lavender whip making the flavor overpowering and closer to a soapy flavor. I would like to say I don't mind paying higher prices for higher quality items. I felt these lacked that. While the place had a beautiful aesthetic the ambience was lacking in warmth from the staff. We were helped by one barista who seemed to have a glass smile and no real welcoming spirit. He was quick to help us when we entered though and quick to answer our questions. Later on I noticed they had a shop and we bumped into the owner. She seemed equally annoyed that we were talking to her. I felt like I needed to have gone to prep school or invented an app to get any kind of warming presents. But hey, maybe we caught them both on an off day. I will not be rushing back anytime soon. The food is literal art and she always makes fun seasonal pastries like croissants stuffed with different fillings. I had a tasty piece of cake for $15.00 but I ordered a latte with it and it came out iced. I said that I did not order it iced and the barista told me to try it and if then I did not like it she would make me what I ordered. I told them I did not like iced coffee and she again insisted that I try it. I left and emailed the owner who emailed me back and took no accountability, made no apology and even told me they asked to make it again for me twice and that I declined. I wonder how they gleaned that information? At that point I thought that I would enjoy bake goods from any place besides this one because the owner is rude and the staff incompetent. read more

Walking into this place I already knew I'd like it. The cold display had a bunch of sweets in it. In the cold case it had slices of cake, tarts and macarons which looked beautiful. In the other case there were a variety of croissants. I ordered ahead of time and got a plain croissant, chocolate croissant and an almond croissant. Because it's a bakery I knew things would sell out quickly and ordering online ahead of time made it way easier than to come right when they opened. The croissants are by far my favorite croissants that I've had in florida. They were flaky and the outside had just the right amount of crunch. When you tore it open you could see all the layers. I have tried the croissants (chocolate and regular), iced salted caramel latte, and hot lavender latte. Definitely recommend the lavender latte... the lavender whipped cream is soooo tasty. Decent amount of seating inside (not anywhere I would necessarily work remote from) and a couple tables outside, although the parking lot is not the best view. The top has the little marshmallow flavor and in the middle is all the lovely light filling and a sweet glaze flavor when you eat it on the bottom. Super must try before September '23 is Over!!!! Don't just think About it either! Just Go and Get It!! I also had the Kouign-Amann! I know my friend swears by these, & I've seen others Die For these too. I'm a sucker for cinnamon buns and they had an Apple Brandy roll that was killer!! I also had the ham and cheese croissant which was probably one of my fav ham and cheese anything ever! Capped off the lunch with a cafe con leche! Overall this place is a 10/10 and you definitely gotta check it out! Recently stopped in after seeing a friends IG post about their lavender latte being amazing. We were on our way to an 11am wedding across the bay and wanted coffee and breakfast. The ambiance of the cafe was really chill. We picked up a menu and tried to decide on our choices despite all the amazing looking options. Ultimately deciding on lavender matcha latte and Thai mango sparkling lemonade for drinks and hubby got the ham and cheese croissant and I chose the croissant muffin of the month which I cannot remember the exact one but it had an amazing citrusy filling. Overall it was a bit pricy (very south Tampa) for two people ($50+) for a quick breakfast and the matcha was slightly lacking, but the lemonade was tasty. The pastries however were both extremely good and I would return for food but would probably just pick basic coffee as my next drink when we go back. The employees were great, attentive and knowledgeable and looked relaxed and happy in their environment. (PS - plants are for sale in the store as well, also a tad pricy for plants imo) read more
