The chicken was super juicy and tender. The lamb was good too, but I personally wasn't the biggest fan of it being shredded. Both came with fries, homemade ketchup, and an olive dip and WOW... that olive dip was so good. I could have eaten way more of that. Our waiter also recommended the boozy citrus fizz and dang... such a good recommendation. I got the lemon and I seriously could have chugged the whole thing. The whipped feta and baklava coffee cake were highlights as well. Our server, Yasmin, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable with her excellent service and recommendations. The inside can get a little loud when it's busy, but they also have a covered patio with plenty of shaded seating, which is a great option if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. We started with coffee and the aforementioned pastries (get them early because they all sell out!). For example, someone at our table ordered the croissant cinnamon roll, which usually sells out quickly. We thought we had made it in time, but unfortunately they had already sold out. This review is for future Christina. The carbs are to die for, but next time unless you're sharing with someone, only buy one. And that one should be the mushroom tyropita. The phyllo dough is so flaky and the inside is delicious. This time I also got the herb biscuit. It was delicious and very buttery. This is like ranking two amazing things, but too much carbs makes me tired so I should just go with the tyropita. However, if I do ever get the biscuit again I would go with a side of jam, not butter. That biscuit is so buttery already. My husband got the croissant cinnamon roll and it's so good. It's light and the frosting is to die for. This plus black coffee is a chef's kiss. I veered off the coffee and got a Greek honey matcha latte. It was good, but I felt like the matcha taste was a little weak. Next time I'll stick with coffee. It wasn't overly sweet though. For my main I got the strapatsada with house cured salmon. We had brunch here for Valentine's Day and it was lovely. There isn't a ton of parking, so it's nice that the valet option is only $5 - we had a reservation and we were seated right away. We dined inside, it's a cozy, smaller space but we still felt like we had ample room without being smooshed against the table next to us - and that's even with us dining with our 2 kiddos with us. It's a really cute restaurant - the aesthetic is very fitting with a coastal Mediterranean vibe, it's beautiful and every little detail is really beautiful. I shared a couple of entrees with my husband, because we wanted to try everything! We decided to go for the octopus salad and the Benedict Eggs with salmon, portions are good, that octopus salad is huge, and also so good, I'll come back just to get that for sure, the Benedict's were also delicious and well balanced, you know they can be too much sometimes but these ones were so well made. I would say reservations are required as they get very busy on the weekends. They do have parking and valet available, or find street parking in the area. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, however I highly recommend the back patio is available, the vibes are great out there! We came to Psomi in mid-afternoon and were thankful to get a table indoor for the lovely A/C! As usual, we had to get the bread basket while we waited for our food. I was sad that they were out of several items in the bakery at 1:30p. I've never been here for dinner, but I can only imagine how many times the servers have to apologize by evening time. I got the lemon orzo soup which was delicious. Ii also got a blueberry muffin that was good, but not as good as some of the other pastries I've had here. Went here prior to the Stadium Series game on a COLD Sunday afternoon. We were seated in their back patio area, which had PLENTY of patio heaters to keep everyone warm - big plus! Before saying what I ordered, I'll preface this by saying that I grew up a picky eater and that still lingers a little bit now, hence me ordering a Smash Burger at a Greek restaurant. I do not regret ordering it in the slightest - from the extremly soft, warm buns (made in house daily, from what I heard) that seemed to almost melt when I bit into it (in the best way possible), to the burger that was juicy and cooked to perfection - this was one of the best burgers I've had. To drink, I ordered off of their Gasparilla cocktail menu and got "The Black Pearl", a dark rum cocktail with lime, greek honey, angostura bitters and an orange peel. I'm typically a whiskey guy, so this was a bit out of my wheelhouse but it was nice! It was smooth and refreshing, while also warming me up to combat the cold weather. Our waiter, Patrick, was solid and the multiple runners came to the table to clean off old dishes and bring food were very quick and attentive.
