    Shakshuka Breakfast Bowl

Had a new experience at Dip and Happy! Tried the Shakshuka with steak. It was delicious. Ana was our server. She gave great recommendations. We are outside and it started off pleasant but soon became quite hot. The price point was nice. The food portions were good as well. Had an enjoyable experience!

The food was incredible and the customer service was excellent. Lots of halal friendly options. I completely finished my plate and left extremely satisfied. The menu is very extensive and they serve breakfast lunch and dinner at all times so if you are with an indecisive group there is definitely something for everyone. We are here on vacation but we will definitely be returning to eat here again during our next Tampa visit.

Stumbled on this cute, quaint cafe in downtown Tampa. I needed to find a spot to get some work done, Dip and Happy was suitable. I didn't eat but I had two drinks and they were good. I had the crème brûlée cappuccino and the hulks hydration and they were both good. The crème brûlée was not sweet, if you are concerned about this. Anna was my server and she was so pleasant as well, making my experience great!

Good option for getting a bite before a show at the Straz Center. While there are many options, like the Maestros at the theater, the prices are pretty high. This place, along with several options near the theater, has popped up in recent years. We wanted a place to sit down and have a conversation with our party, and this place had both indoor and outdoor seating and offered a full menu. We got the chicken pesto panini and the D&H quesadilla. Both came out looking delicious and tasted the amazing. The service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go back!

I was looking for a good breakfast restaurant Downtown and came across Dip and Happy. The name alone made me smile. After a doing a quick check to find a slew of positive reciews, I decided to give them a try. Parking was a bit of a challenge as they do not have a parking lot. Only street parking and paid lots surrounded the restaurant. The service was warm and friendly. My mom still raves about the shrimp and grits from this restaurant. The presentation and taste was a standout and well-complimented their house-made jalapeño corn bread. Their menu is extensive with a wide array of breakfast and lunch options. I was particularly impressed with their Dubai Chocolate options. From the Dubai Chocolate waffles to the Strawberries and Pistachio Latte. I'm excited to come back and try more items.

Super cool spot downtown! It's definitely a vibe. The service is great and very friendly. I got a chicken croissant and I thought it was pretty dry. The bread was also almost burnt so that it didn't help. It was just a decent sandwich. For the price tho idk if I'd return but this place has some great potential and great menu items. Check them out

The food here tasted incredibly fresh. I don't know what they put in the ciabatta bread, but it is the softest crunch within the sandwiches. I got the roast beef chimichurri and french dip, and I definitely enjoyed the meal because of the freshness. I think the service is very nice. I do think they should hire more people in the kitchen because the wait was on the longer side. The restaurant was a lot smaller than expected but every aspect of space is used well.

The food and drink were amazing! They have an unusually large menu with a lot of delectable items. The restaurant doesn't have much seating, but is adorable inside. We had one snafu during our visit. My friend is gluten-free. She asked the server if a dish was gluten-free and the server responded, yes. However, the dish had breaded chicken and was not in fact, gluten free. Thankfully, my friend doesn't have a life-threatening allergy. The owner came to our table and comped her order and apologized for the mistake. The server was visibly shaken by her error. I would definitely recommend this place despite the trouble.

Cute place we found walking outside of our hotel in downtown Tampa. Small and quaint. Menu was limited on food items but there were numerous drink options, both cold and hot drinks. Both of us ordered the steak chimichurri bowl that was served topped with egg, pico de gallo, and an amazing sauce. Portion size was small but the flavor was great. Outstanding service but a tad overpriced. I would return if I was in the area and I would Try a few of the drinks and try something different on the menu. Again, service was outstanding.

We checked out Dip and Happy in Tampa for Saturday brunch and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the Dubai Waffles and they were everything sweet, indulgent, and totally worth it. Covered chocolate drizzle, topped with fruit and pistachios serious dessert for breakfast vibes! I also ordered the Happy Healthy Breakfast Bowl, which was so refreshing. It's chia seed pudding and açaí sorbet at the base, topped with strawberries, bananas, pomegranate, and pistachios, drizzled with honey. It even came with a little berry compote on the side that added the perfect tart touch. So good, especially on a warm day. My boyfriend got the Breakfast Burrito and it was packed and flavorful he devoured it. We also had iced caramel lattes and they were delicious smooth and not overly sweet. Only downside was the service it was a bit slow, and this isn't really a sit-down spot. You order at the counter and wait, so it's not the place to go if you're on a tight schedule. But if you've got time and you're craving something fresh and flavorful, this place is a gem.

This was a new item; Nate's Birria Bowl and took the kinder cake to go. The cakes are sugar free and you'd never know. A must try!

Such a great little place. The food was so fresh, extremely delicious, and there were so many options. Our waitress was super sweet and helpful.

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. A full service bar and restaurant on one side and a lounge type atmosphere on the other side with a live DJ. They play a variety of rnb and hip hop from old school to modern day. I really had a nice time. The reason only 4 stars was due to the host not being actively present at the reception area when you walk in. He was too busy on the lounge side dropping it like it was hot and helping the bottle girls "hold" the sign. We stood at the host stand upon entry for a while until someone went to get him from the other side. The food was just "ok". For the price of the food I expected more. I had the lemon pepper honey wings and the chicken and French toast. The wings were not cooked through and served in a bowl which made it very difficult to eat. It came with 2 cornbread muffins that were dense and very dry. The French toast was great. I opted for the one with peaches and icing. It was great. It was served with chicken tenders. Again, in a bowl, which made it very difficult to cut, as I had to dig in the bowl. They were ok, a little on the dry side, the breading was falling off but they were edible. The drinks were flowing and the vibe was good. No complaints there. Would I go back??? Yes, I'll probably try something different on the menu. I feel like if the service was a bit better, more attention to detail on the food and the plating of food was different it would have earned 5 stars. But I had an overall nice time.

The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans.
