    Bistec a Caballo

I decided to treat myself to lunch. I arrived around lunchtime and was greeted and seated right away. The service was warm and welcoming; my server was incredibly sweet and helpful in answering my questions about the menu. I ordered the blackberry juice, Spanish latte, and bistec a caballo. Everything was delicious. The Spanish latte was easily one of the best I've had and as a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, that's saying something lol. The steak dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and the portion size was just right. Was able to save some for later. I sat outside on the patio, and it was such a vibe! Clean, beautifully decorated, and peaceful. You really can't beat the ambiance. If you're craving Colombian cuisine, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, LPCX is the spot. I'll definitely be back!

We love this place. The outdoor patio is so nice. We find it to be relaxing and love the chickens running around. Today we got to see a few of the baby chicks. The waiters and waitresses have always been polite and friendly. The food is delicious. I've tried a few different items on the menu. All have been delicious. The passion fruit milk frozen beverage is so yummy as well. If you like outdoor or indoor seating this is a great option.

I had seen this place on TikTok and thought it would be a cool spot to check out for brunch. We made a reservation and were quickly seated. We ordered the pan de bono waffles which were yummy and came with a side of syrup and were topped with powdered sugar. I ordered a café con leche to drink and it was a yummy cafecito to go with my breakfast, I ordered the smoked salmon pan de bono which was equally as yummy. However, the other plates my family got were relatively small and our bill came out to around $150. Our server didn't check on us once until it was time to pay which was a little disappointing but the manager checked on us and gave us condiments and things we were waiting for. I did like the outside and they had birds outside and plenty of places for a good photo op. I think this place has potential but left wishing for more

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review for LPCX Café. This place is one of my absolute favorite weekday breakfast and brunch spots in Tampa. First things first -- the food is amazing. They offer a great selection of Colombian breakfast and lunch options, and many of the dishes are naturally gluten-free, which is always a plus. On this visit I ordered the Calentado with grilled steak and eggs over easy, served with a sweet arepa, and a Café con Leche. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The steak was flavorful, the eggs were just right, and the calentado (rice and beans) made the whole plate hearty and comforting. My husband ordered the Desayuno Sencillo with sunny-side-up eggs, bacon, and the savory arepa -- simple, classic, and done really well. Speaking of coffee -- their Café con Leche is on point. Smooth, rich, and beautifully made. But what really makes this place special is the atmosphere. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but unless it's raining, always choose outdoor dining. The moment you sit outside you feel like you've been transported somewhere else. There's lush greenery, music playing in the background, and even chickens and roosters wandering around while little birds sing nearby. It feels relaxed, vibrant, and completely unique. While I love coming on weekdays, don't expect it to be empty -- this hidden gem has plenty of weekday regulars who know exactly how good it is. I can only imagine weekends get pretty packed. If you're looking for authentic Colombian breakfast, great coffee, and a fun outdoor vibe, LPCX Café is definitely worth the visit.

    Spanish Latte

Came here with a friend for brunch and this spot is adorable. We were quickly seated outside at an umbrella covered picnic table. The patio area is adorable and it looks like they are setup for live music or streaming sporting events. They had an extensive coffee and cocktail menu, but we settled on the Spanish Latte because it sounded amazing. And it tasted even better! We shared the pandebono waffles to start, which were delicious. And I got an arepa special for my main. It was yummy, but I do wish the portion size was a bit bigger, either a bigger area or my multiple, for the price point. Overall, great experience and would recommend for brunch.

I found LPCX Cafe on TikTok and had to try it based on the food reviews and experience. It definitely did not disappoint! The staff was so warm, welcoming, and friendly. The vibe is the best; we have teens and a toddler and we all had a great time. We ordered a variety of items and they all were delicious, so you can't go wrong. The flavors were great and everything tasted fresh. We already booked another reservation for next week lol! Like I said, if you don't go here just for the wonderful food, come for the experience. Brunch was amazing!!!

This visit totally blew my mind- such an unassuming establishment from outside, and even when you first walk in. But then you go and see the back porch and try the food, and are whisked away to some tropical wonderland. If you like birds, you will fall in love with the porch area. They have a giant enclosure for these super cute parakeets, a bunch of different kinds. They just hang out as some background entertainment, along with the resident chickens. We got some lattes and breakfast as we went in the morning, and loved everything we tried. But especially the arepas were *chefs kiss*. If you get coffee, try the Spanish Latte. Perfect blend of strong coffee, smooth and a little bit of sweetness. They have some bigger tv screens inside and outside too so I think you could come to watch sports games when they are on. Really, the best of both worlds!

This has to be on the top 5 gems in Tampa Bay. LPCX Cafe makes me feel like I'm on vacation in a different country. The atmosphere is a VIBE. I don't think I've been to a cafe as unique as this cafe in Tampa. They have free roaming chickens with their outdoor patio and a huge bird house of colorful birds. They have a great menu with plentiful portions. Their drinks include Colombian twists and excellent non alcoholic choices such as shakes, coffee and matcha. The food is SO delicious I haven't had a dish I haven't liked yet. The service is very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to give me the best recommendations. If I lived closer, I literally would be there every week. No joke. Go check them out!!!

Love coming to LPCX for brunch they offer indoor and outdoor seating and on nice days the patio outside area is so nice - def recommend checking this out! The food is always amazing! I've tried a few different things but so far the pan de bono waffles and the Arepa Special is my favorite! I highly recommend making a reservation online if you plan on visiting for brunch as the indoor seating is limited. Service is usually pretty quick once seated. Wait time can get long on weekends without reservations (I was quoted 5-10 mins once and waited about 30).

11/10!!!!!! When I saw the vibes of this place I knew it was going to be great and I was not wrong. I've never given an 11/10 review but when I tell you every single thing about this place was amazing. From the friendly staff, to the music, outdoor columbian family home vibes, to the FOOOOOOOOD coffee and matcha... WOW. Super impressed with the flavors of everything, first we had the pandebono waffles, flavor bomb. I could eat 50 more. Then the calentado and Paisa bowl... fantastic. You do not wanna miss this place. Vibes alone are 11/10!!!! Absolutely will be back whenever I can, but we live far from here.

LPCX Cafe is an awesome local place for Columbian food in Tampa. My family and I visited here with friends. Social media bills this place a perfect brunch spot if you have kids. Their outdoor dining area is kid friendly, open enough for them to roam and play safely. We sat outside on a pretty overcast Saturday morning. Rain clouds loomed and while that kept the heat at bay, our time outside was limited. Luckily, like majority of the tables outside, ours was covered with a heavy duty plastic sheet that allowed light but kept everything else out. Our server was around quickly and go us started on drinks. Waters and different variations on coffee all around. I enjoyed a slightly sweet, foamy cortado. Right next to our dining area was a chicken coop. Not sure of those guys end up on our plates or if they are there for eggs but they were free to roam. The two kids at our table highly enjoyed checking out the birds and chickens, watching them walk around and screech. For breakfast, I ordered the Arepa Especial. These sweet corn cakes were covered with fried egg, savory shredded beef and fresh avocado, cheese and a cilantro sauce. The meal was filling and had so much going on. Layers of cheese and meat adorned the lightly bready cakes. While this wasn't the largest serving for $15, one could argue it was an appropriate serving for single person. The price reflected the fresh and hearty homemade ingredients. My wife ordered the Tostones mixtos. 4 tostones topped with chicken and beef along with cilantro and a pink sauce. My wife said they were tasty and our daughter also enjoyed them. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Our server was around often to check on us and we had a great time of fellowship. Just as we had finished up eating, it started to pour. Rain like Florida does. Sporadic, torrential and cooling. We took shelter under an awning, paid and chatted a bit more. Eventually, we were on our way. I'd come back here again, for sure. If you're looking for a great brunch spot with tasty home cooking food, check this place out.

After scouring Yelp and the internet for the best brunch places in the Tampa area, I noticed one place was on everybody's list: Lpcx Cafe. That told me all I needed to know! We showed up to a full parking lot and people waiting outside, so reservations are definitely a smart move. We wound up dining outside because there was live music, however, be warned that the inside tables are very limited if you're looking to eat under A/C. That being said, the outdoor area is shaded with plenty of fans circulating the air. The food was so delicious, OMG. I ordered the arepa dish, and I devoured it. One of the best brunch dishes I've had. They have a wonderful variety of brunch dishes, sangria, mimosas, and more. I would definitely eat here again and I can confirm what others have already said: Lpcx is one of Tampa's top brunch spots.

First time customers and we were so excited to find this place! We recently were in Medellin, so to find this gem in Tampa was such a cool find! The food was authentic and delicious, just as we had in Colombia. And the COFFEE?! You have to try the Spanish Latte. We will be back many times over because of that one cup of coffee. On top of the tasty food and drinks, the service was wonderful and super attentive. Multiple people checked on us while we dined and we were greeted immediately when we came in even though the hostess was not at the front to greet and seat us yet. Next time, we have to try sitting out on the patio. It was so inviting out there with all the birds and the tree canopy. We recently went back again for brunch (8/30/25) and they've overhauled their menu. The new items were so hard to choose from because everything looked so amazing! I got the Paisa Bowl which was *chef's kiss* and my wife got the Arepa Especial that was also bangin! We took them both home because the portion was huge and happily ate the rest for dinner that night.

The inside is a decent size with tables, cute decor and lots of plants. When I first walked in, I was taken back by how beautiful the pastry display cases were!! I had the hardest time choosing which pastry to get because they all looked like works of art!! Super friendly staff, great service but now to get to the goods: the coffee and pasties. This is a true authentic French bakery, no doubt in my mind. The iced salted caramel latte is the best I have EVER had. I could taste every flavor and it blended with the coffee perfectly. The ham and cheese croissant was so flakey, the perfect ham ratio and just all around fantastic. The pastry I got had raspberry jam and white chocolate ganache (I don't remember the name of it) and it was seriously the best pastry I've ever had. Most pastries can be too sweet, but this was just right. The jam tasted fresh and homemade (probably is!) and the white chocolate ganache gave it just a touch of sweetness. It is a little pricey so be warned: $48 for two coffees and two pastries. Definitely worth a splurge!!

The person behind the counter was very welcoming and even helped recommend pastries based on our palate preferences, which made the experience feel more personal and thoughtful. What I ordered: two pastries, the strawberry Japanese cheesecake and the goat cheese carrot cake. The strawberry Japanese cheesecake ($15) was a perfect balance of fruity freshness and caramelized richness with a creamy finish. It was not overly sweet and the fruit and cream notes really stood out in every bite. The goat cheese carrot cake ($16) was my favorite. I would go back just for this. It was moist, rich, and had a tangy goat cheese filling that created a very creamy, complex flavor profile. So delicious. The prices are on the steeper side but I love a baker who knows their worth. Totally worth it for the quality.

In the box (see photo), we bought two each of guava flip (kind of a folded tart or empanada), guava turnover, and guava flip with cream cheese. All of them are delicious! I like the flaky guava turnovers the most even though they didn't survive the transportation across the country in my backpack as well as some of the others. Even though slightly crumbly, still yummy! I also bought butter cookies, sold by the pound. Those are relatively ordinary; I'll skip those in the future. Next time, we are carrying Cuban sandwiches home! I really wish I carried them home. I was having Cuban sandwich withdrawal. This location is older but functional; there isn't seating. Their customers know what they want, and everything moves FAST. If it's your visit (like it was for us), I suggest looking at the menu online to know what to order. The service is friendly, even though I can tell he was a bit exasperated that I didn't just yell out my order and I asked questions. I honestly don't fault him. Paris Baguette has EVERYTHING I love. Cake. Latte. Bread. Pastries. What more can a woman ask for???!!! I was already swooning over the photos and menu options seen on Yelp and Google, but TASTING is BELIEVING and now I'm so glad that I can say it's everything I hoped it would be. It's like a little piece of Paris right here in Tampa! (I've been). So I've come for cake, stayed for latte and quiche, and because why not, threw in the salad so that lunch and dinner is taken care of, too! Okay, first off...what I got. The quiche is light and airy, and is basically a croissant with quiche filling instead of a quiche slice. I love croissants, so this was a nice treat for me that I could hold in my hand. The Salted Caramel Latte I thought was pretty unique, because yes, there's a PRETZEL on top of it (which I plucked off and ate the first thing when I got it. Tasted rich and delicious, and was a great companion for my food. Now, usually I don't bat so much as an eye for a salad, but that Korean beef salad looked fresh and yummy, and it would definitely take care of dinner for the day because, why not, while I'm out? It was a decent size too, not too filling, with a good variety of veggies such as cukes, carrots, tomatoes, on top of mixed greens with Korean beef, which was the only heavy thing on the salad so you don't feel weighed down. It's great to know if you're watching your waist line or caloric intake, Paris Baguette has you covered with no problem as the nutrition facts are listed on the menu so you can make an informed choice. Of course, their cakes are so good, you wouldn't help but want to indulge. Which brings me to my final point. When I saw MOCHA CAKE on the menu, I thought, OMG I have to have it!!! It's EVERYTHING I could want and more and I must ask WHY ISN'T MOCHA CAKE MORE OF A THING NOW???? The sponge cake was light and airy like a coffee cloud as was the buttercream, not too sweet, rounding out my whole meal in nice elegant, finish. The shop itself is cute, but Muffin and I ate outside since the outside area is dog friendly. It reminds me of those open-air cafes in Europe, especially in Paris, elevating my lunch experience with my dog. The staff is super nice and welcoming on approach, too. The tiramasu is really tasty and perfect to share among two of us. The cupcakes were delicious and the icing is pretty amazing...and different than we have had anywhere else. The sugar cookies with guava are a medium size and perfect to go with cafe con Leche. We haven't eaten the cinnamon roll yet but I know it is going to be really tasty. 5 Stars for a spectacular brunch at Psomi with standout baked goods including the spanakopita,…read morecroissant cinnamon roll, and baklava coffee cake! Pro-tip: additional parking is located just down the street (look for the blue building with signage). I got to enjoy brunch on the outdoor patio (covered, breezy, and dog-friendly) recently and was blown away. We started with coffee and the aforementioned pastries (get them early because they all sell out!). The spanakopita was the perfect, flakey, savory intro and then paired perfectly with the sweet baklava coffee cake and croissant cinnamon roll. All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. I shared the Strapatsada (vegetarian, but you can add meat options), which is a Greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette; along with the Med Morning Yogurt Bowl (v, gf) featuring fresh berries, house granola, mint, greek thyme honey. The granola was clearly house-made and I would also opt to purchase it at the market if they sell it! Both dishes were satisfying and hit the savory/sweet combo I was searching for. Finally, the service was fabulous and friendly and they even brought a water bowl for my pup. Great spot and my #1 go-to when in Tampa now!

Alright so this one is an interesting one…read more Went with the homie - felt like there was no other homie duos running it in there. I was surrounded by Zara final bosses and IG baddies. Which is cool, just not my cup of tea. Coffee ripped. Knew it would. They had some sort of maple oak milk concoction. I'm not entirely sure if that's the real government name of it but it was great - homemade they say. See the lil wrap/gyro deal in the picture, yeahhhh good stuff. Took it all down. Fries were a good cut. Sauces were house made, what was it you ask - no idea. But don't care, they were great. Food was great. Just felt like I didn't fit in. Or maybe I just was not prepped/dressed to feel like I was in Mykonos on a cruise and that was the excursion for the day. Idk, good stuff overall.
