We came by for brunch on a Tuesday, it was not too busy. I ordered an Egg Sandwich and small Cafe Ybor(made with evaporate milk) and a Mojo Pork sandwich with cafe con leche and a Devil crab as they did not have stuffed potato. The egg sandwich on cuban bread was very good. The mojo pork was also very good. We really enjoyed the Devil Crab the make in house. We found it very interesting the menu had no prices, only the paper menu did. The lady serving the food at the counter was very friendly. You pay for your meal and they make your coffee and bring your food to your table. The tables were clean and nothing fancy but good food. We will be back to try the stuffed potato.

Came here for lunch with a friend. As someone who does not eat meat, I knew that I would not have many options to choose from. Most of the dishes contain meat. Even the yellow rice, the green beans and red beans were cooked with meat. It's a very casual place. It's a self service. So you pick what you order and also clean after you. I ordered white rice, black beans, plantain and yucca. Food was ok. Not very flavorful. I found hair in the food and when I went back to show them, they refused to replace my food, telling me it's my hair... Also was not offered chopped onion for the beans. I had to go back and ask. I felt like the people there were not going out of their way to say the least. Not sure I will be back.

Breakfast or lunch 7 days a week, dinner weekdays only, very good authentic Cuban food. No frills order at the counter service and they bring you your food. Fresh, hot, and super delicious. There are tables both inside and outside. Not super crowded during lunch today, good steady business and the ladies behind the counter are very nice. Like a happy family serving their own recipes. I ordered the deviled crab and it was the size of a junior football. Loaded with crab and plenty of flavor. Authentic Cuban beverages from the cold case and a soda fountain with the usual Coke products. I don't live in Tampa anymore but if I did, I would get lunch from here all the time.

This is an authentic Cuban cafe. The cafe con leche is superior. Black and strong. Creamy. Sweet. Very hot. We got Cuban breakfast sandwiches and both agree it's the best breakfast sandwich we have ever had. Cuban bread is fresh. Chewy and crispy like it should be. Eggs fresh. Bacon amazing. Not too salty! This spot is a gem!

Their coffee is not good. First of, their cortadito size is more like the size of a cafe con leche and even though the cup is not filled all the way to the top you definitely get a lot more volume than expected. I was hopeful though when I saw how dark (much darker than a cafe con leche) the coffee looked but unfortunately it tasted extremely watered down, likely because it's made from poor quality beans.

Amazing food. Cute little cafe that I'll definitely be returning to in the future. Service, cleanliness, and price were all great, too.

The Ropa Vieja was excellent! Cuban sandwiches are very good! Tampa locals know this is one of the better Cuban restaurants.

So with the help of Google Maps, I found went on my magical journey there and found the place. On the outside, I see lovely calligraphy and art depicting bread and baked goods, so I know I've found the right place! It was a hot day, so the outside seating was empty. Lovely, considering that I have my sweet baby Muffin with me who accompanies me to all my adventures. The seating is covered with large umbrellas, and there's fake grass on the ground for an added whimsical touch. Bear in mind, dogs are not allowed inside the bakery--including when you go inside to pay. Spoke to the man up front, and he explains that if I'm ever uncomfortable of leaving her, they could come out with handheld card reader and take my order that way. Good to know, but I could see Muffin through the window, and I wasn't going to be long, so I parked her outside and got my order, which they brought right out to me. The one thing I zeroed in on was the Nutellla croissant. I love Nutella. I love croissants. I really love Chef and the Baker croissants, so this was the PERFECT choice. I paired it with a hazelnut latte--hot, of course because I'm crazy in this Florida heat which was at 90 degrees, but I insist on it being hot--and I thought this was a perfect pairing. My order was brought out promptly. The croissant was a perfect size, large, but not overwhelming, sprinkled with powdered sugar and a little bit of Nutella peeking out of edges hinting to me what's inside. I take one bite, and this thing is LOADED. They did not skimp on the Nutella whatsoever, and every bite had a good amount to remind me that it's there. The hot hazelnut latte was the perfect finish for my treat, smooth, bold, with just the right amount of hazelnut flavor. Next time I come back, I'll make sure its not so hot, but part of me thought I should have gotten the BTS UBE Iced Latte, which sounded DELICIOUS and probably would've helped me out with the heat. Oh well. Lesson learned, and I guess I'll just have to come back.

High quality, elevated booked goods. Cinnamon rolls on Sunday to die for. An elegant setting. Why not five stars-- the service. Sadly since we started going the quality and kindness of the service has notable deteriorated to the point I would call it rude. Perhaps a victim of their own success, the servers seem not to care whether they provide a good experience or not (spoiler --they don't). It would a stretch to call them kind. The gentleman with the beard is particularly disrespectful acting like he is doing you a favor serving you when it suits him. Have seen many a great place in Tampa fail because they don't get the service right. Hope this is not another casualty.

So crazy good, I could only eat 1/3 of it, but it made for a delightful treat the next day too. The description of it is as follows: buttery Graham cracker crust with milk, dark, and white chocolate chips, bits of toffee, and topped with coconut. I also highly recommend taking a treat or two from their samples jar. Their toffee is clearly the best in the world, and every bite is a treat. If you're looking for the perfect holiday gift - look no further than their toffee.
