I went to Willa's for dinner on Friday night with my girlfriends and it was such a cute and easy spot for a Friday night out. It was busy but not packed, which we were honestly relieved about since it was the day before Valentine's Day. We were a little nervous about the wait but got sat right away, and our server was great. We all ordered the French onion soup and it was incredible. Definitely the standout of the night. We decided to do a bunch of small plates and appetizers to share. Overall everything was good, but I was not over the top impressed with the shareables. The Brussels sprouts were amazing, but we also ordered the bread, chips and dip, and a meat dish. The meat felt a little odd since it did not come with crackers or anything to pair it with, which made it harder to share. I have been before for brunch and personally think it is a better brunch spot or a place to grab drinks. I just did not find too many things on the dinner menu that I was super excited about. Still a really cute atmosphere and a fun spot with friends.

Had brunch here on a Thursday and really enjoyed it! It wasn't super busy around 11am, my friend and I brought our babies and there was ample space for us and 2 high chairs without it feeling cramped or chaotic. Our waitress was so nice and quick to give us the highlight reel of the menu and give us some great recommendations. The iced caramel latte was fantastic - not overly sweet and not watered down. I ordered the huevos rancheros, I would definitely recommend. The chorizo is really good and the jalapeño cream sauce is just the cherry on top. I did scrambled eggs on the side, so I could give my baby some eggs without all the extra stuff as well. We'll definitely be back because there were quite a few items we wanted to try on the menu but could only fit so much into our stomachs!

We came here for a casual lunch. We sat outside and loved the outdoor seating and pleasant weather. Our service was awesome, the server (I forget his name, he was an older gentleman) was kind and attentive. Our favorites from the menu was the first mocktail on the menu (they have it on tap and it was so good and refreshing!) and the potato latkes, which I loved with the apple butter. The rotisserie chicken and schnitzel were great too. Make sure you stop by next door for coffee after!! They have some great lattes!

Here's my take. I have visited Willa's twice and had two very different experiences. The service was exceptional both visits and it has a cute vibe inside. Nothing crazy just a subtle cutness. Now for the food. Once I visited for brunch which was amazing! They have a delicious ricotta, lemon curd French toast breakfast and a fun coffee selection. I tried bites of everyone in my parties food, and it was all amazing. Last night I visited durning dinner, and it just wasn't my thing.I felt like the dinner menu was overpriced for what it is. I would suggest looking over the menu before you go. With all that being said, this spot is know for brunch and I can see why! I highly recommend visiting for brunch.

There is no shortage of good brunch spots in Tampa. But Willa's stands out as offering some excellent healthy options beyond your standard omelette and pancakes. Love the ambiance and mix of bar top, diner, and classy restaurant. Gives this place such character. Service was friendly and fast, making for an enjoyable experience. I got the Smoked Salmon Bagel Sandwich. Love the Alfalfa Sprouts, which provided a nice vegetal contrast to the smoked salmon. The house made chips were a good side compared to your standard hash browns or breakfast potatoes. Lovely place I would come back to with friends or family :)

The food was very bland , great atmosphere and beautiful ambience inside. Restaurant was not accommodating. We could not order scrambled eggs without dairy after telling them of a. dairy allergy. There are no meat alternatives such as turkey, bacon, turkey sausage or chicken sausage.. only pork I gave it a 3 star

Stopped in for breakfast yesterday. We ordered a matcha latte, iced coffee latte, and a hot chai tea latte. They made a mistake with the coffee latte like 2 times and our waitress was super friendly and changed it no problem. Service was super friendly. The place is very cute. We enjoyed breakfast plate, and mushroom omelette. Definitely a great little neighborhood place!!!

Really cool, easy going vibe. Service was quick and the staff is very knowledgable of their menu. I had the DBL Cheese smash burger and my wife had the Chicken Schnitzel. Burger was juicy with crispy fries. The chicken schnitzel was larger than anticipated. Great flavors and was not disappointed! Finished off with an old fashioned and a chai iced latte. I would definitely recommend if looking for a brunch/lunch venue that is quick and tasty!

Had a very pleasant experience at Willa's; my party was seated very quickly and the waiter was very friendly and swung by multiple times to check in on us; I had one of the chicken salad sandwhich which came out great; highly recommend to all

Absolutely amazing. Service is friendly. Coffee is great and food is super delicious. And they give out free pens and matches. Can't go wrong.

Overall: Willa's is an adorable local brunch spot, with awesome food, coffee and great vibes! Food 4. Great brunch options! The French toast was a delicious treat and our favorite of the entrees! The avocado toast was yummy but needed a little extra flavor (recommend hot sauce or balsamic vinegar!). Atmosphere 5 love the vibe with the luscious greenery and plants. They have a cute mural wall in the back of the restaurant that's a perfect spot to snag a picture for IG! Service 4 we had great, attentive service with friendly and kind staff! They took care to ensure we had a great experience.

    Nate's Breakfast. Fabulous.

DO NOT SKIP BRUNCH!! The food is an edible masterpiece. While in Tampa with my daughters, we just wanted breakfast. Just a normal breakfast. We were not mentally prepared for this Master Class in culinary art. Nate's Breakfast was brilliant. Eggs scrambled perfectly. Latkes were thicker than I've normally had them (maybe 10mm thick) with a perfectly crunchy outside, and creamy in the inside. The salmon was good, as were the onions, and the avocado was ripe. The garlic aoli was wonderful, and had an extra herb-y flavor that I couldn't place. Tasting everything by itself was great, but combining it all into one bite made fireworks in my mouth. Brilliant. The Breakfast Plate came with 2 of the most perfect over-medium eggs I've ever seen. The toast was, this is going to sound ridiculous, the toastiest toast I've ever eaten. Like someone stood over an open flame just slowly toasting it to perfection. And it had a hint of sweetness. And the bacon. Thick bacon. Almost like someone made a mistake. Like 3 average slices of bacon in one. And how did they get such thick bacon to be firm, but not burnt, I'll never know. Fabulous dish. The Avocado Toast consisted of a fairly thick slice of toast, with at least one whole avocado spread over it's entirety, and eggs Sunny Side Up. This bite is everything you'd imagine: creamy, crunchy, and just a little bit messy. :) But absolutely worth it!! Incredible. Sourdough French Toast. I have never in my life had a culmination of exquisite independent flavors as was in one bite with these ingredients. The French Toast itself had a crunchy exterior, with a twinge of sourdough that one would anticipate, but then a split second later a sweetness that supported, but not overwhelmed, the bite. And that was just the bread. It is served with ricotta, but a bitey, creamy ricotta. And the lemon curd puts all other lemon flavored things to shame. Texture was that of a lemon pudding. Sour. Lemon up front. No doubting it's ingredient. And berries. :). So, if you've been paying attention, a bite with all of these was powerful: crunchy French Toast with a punch of lemon, subtly calmed with a creamy ricotta, then finished with a slight sweetness. There should be a movie based on a book about this Sourdough French Toast. Magnificent. The staff was incredibly kind and delightful. I am pretty sure I talked to everyone working the floor. :) The interior gave an "elegance in a warehouse" vibe, much like the prom in a barn that I grew up with. And the bathrooms were eclectic and clean. Do not miss an opportunity to experience this restaurant. It WILL be an experience. You can thank me later!!! :)

Willa's had a very home-like feel to it. The staff were really nice & attentive. It wasn't overly crowded and the lighting gave me a calming feel. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the Willa's Tonic. Both were really good. The tonic had a great blend of lemongrass and citrus. The chicken salad sandwich was light and refreshing. Can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.

This recent visit found all four of us wanting more of Chef Jeannie Pierola's creative and flavorful cuisine! We shared some burrata at the bar while we visited with friends and then moved to our table for a delightful dining experience. I had the coconut lime glazed black grouper which featured purple sticky rice, a red curry emulsion, pineapple jalapeño chutney & herb salad. Sharing a bite with my partner was a challenge but I played fair as he gave me a divine taste of his seared duck breast. Our friends shared the octopus tiradito and wild caught sea scallops. Not only the drinks are phenomenal, but the food is absolutely amazing. The hubs really likes the brussels sprouts here. I think they are too wet. I wouldn't order them myself. I normally like them crispy on the outside and moist in the middle and not wet. It was a weird sauce almost like Cajun, which is unusual for brussels sprouts. I still think Yeoman's has the best Brussels sprouts in the area. The onion rings here are the absolute best. The breading is flat and smooth, and the onions are thick. Places that make the crispy bumpy batter usually scratch my throat being so crispy however, the onion rings here are flat and smooth, and that doesn't happen. I like to order it with a side of beer cheese dipping sauce; it is absolutely incredible. I definitely recommend ordering a side of beer cheese dipping sauce. The drinks here are so strong. I was only able to get one since it was so strong. They are just too strong for me but very delicious. The hubs likes all of the drinks here he's tried them all. So we walked to the outside shaded area to grab a table but the waitress stopped us and said the free seating is outside outside (in the sun). So we went back in and asked for a table in the shaded outside. They brought us back to the table we were originally trying to sit at. So, already a rough start. The shaded area is nice to sit in though. It wasn't too hot, they had fans on and I wasn't cold for the first time ever. We ordered the truffle fries, Kurobuto Pork burger, wings (half lemon pepper, half buffalo) and Brussels sprouts, a medium sized Blue Moon and a medium sized Yuengling. The truffle fries were terrible! Mostly cold, not crispy, not enough salt, just overall bad. No Parmesan cheese on them either. The Kurobuto burger was actually pretty delicious. It had candied bacon, white American cheese, arugula and blueberry ketchup. The Brussels sprouts were nothing to write home about. They had good flavor, but weren't crispy at all. Half of the wings came out cold (the buffalo ones). We asked to have them replaced and then the waitress disappeared for about 15-20 minutes as our beers sat empty. Not sure what happened, but the wings came back out after 15 minutes, right before we were ready to leave. My friend said she didn't want them because we were about to go to a concert and didn't want to leave them in her car. The waitress finally came back about 10 minutes after that and said the wings should be coming. We told her we sent them back because they took too long. She ended up taking them off the bill. The ambiance was nice and it's a convenient place to eat if you're going to an event at Benchmark, but the food didn't live up to the high prices. Would probably not come back.
