Pros: -good ice cream…read more-fresh donut/cake -large treat -good variety Cons: -It too a VERY long time to get our order, they seem to be doing orders by person instead of an assembly line... not a good idea -Hazelnut twisted cone did not resemble picture on board -cake was more of a donut, good but would have loved it to be more cakey -wish they listed that strawberries were in the Dubai Twisted Cake (not a strawberry and chocolate fan otherwise I would have asked for a substitute) Overall, this was an okay experience. They definitely need to get the wait times under control though.

Once the female was done, she sat down and got on her phone while the male is still preparing the end of the order for the guest in front of me. She could've taken my order and started the rolling process for the dough. The male employee politely took my order and began preparing it. The cinnamon roll aspect of the ice cream takes a while, so be prepared to wait. The good part is better as fresh. The bad part is you only get to choose from soft serve cheap ice cream to put on it. I found that over $10 was extremely high priced for what I got. There are much better ice cream shops in the city for a better value. The shop was nicely, decorated with Edison lighting and cool vibe music. They did have a nice little neon light that you could enter and take pictures, but the employees decided to pick up the best spot. So no one could sit there. I land on reading a book while I ate my ice cream. But only the hard chairs were available due to the employees taking the couches in the best picture spot.

I would definitely recommend for you to try this spot! Be careful because you're going to go back the next day LOL.

I'll post a photo of the menu from the day we went. My teens got a flight and loved it. The employee was nice and the front of the shop was clean. Issue: The bathroom was downright filthy. Like gas station at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere dirty. It needs to be power washed and/or gutted. It always concerns me when a food establishment has a dirty bathroom because it makes you question the cleanliness of the food prep area you can't see.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. The ice cream was extremely underwhelming, and for me, even…read moreDairy Queen tastes wayyyyy better. Maybe I just wasn't prepared for how unusual some of the flavors were--but I suppose that's fitting for a place called Oddfellows. I tried a sample of the cookie flavor, and it was easily the worst cookie ice cream I've ever had. The texture of the Raspberry Rocky Road was also off putting, and even the sprinkles were weird. One thing I will say is that I didn't look inside the bathroom, so I can't speak to its cleanliness. But honestly, if I had gone in and found it to be filthy, I probably wouldn't have gotten the ice cream at all. Cleanliness matters to me, and if a business isn't keeping its customer areas sanitary, it naturally makes me question how seriously cleanliness is taken behind the scenes with food preparation. Again, I didn't actually see anything in the food-prep area, so I'm not making that claim--just explaining how I personally would feel. The staff was super friendly, though, so credit where it's due--the customer service was great. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself was a major miss for me. I really don't know how this place has managed to stay in business in Hyde Park. In an area with so many options, the product has to deliver, and this just didn't. For me, it's a one-and-done. I won't be back.
