We stopped by here for lunch. Though a food truck, they do have a few outdoor tables you can sit at. The service was fast and the food was great. I got a carne asada taco, a carne asada taco supreme and a sope. I preferred the taco to the taco supreme. I had never had a sope before and was really glad I tried it and will definitely have it again next time. I look forward to coming back here again.

Came here today due to our regular taco Tuesday place being under renovations. In ordered the burrito and the wife ordered two tacos and a sopa. Everything was delicious and fresh. We agreed next time we would order the burrito and sopa and split them. The service was good and fast. The atmosphere is a food truck on a busy road next to an industrial area. If you are looking for a romantic date this is probably not your place but if you want good Mexican food then this is your place.. we will certainly be back when it's cooler outside.

There's an incredible taco spot in Florida with an excellent atmosphere. We were in search of an authentic taco place and I had heard about Taco De Oro, so we decided to have tacos for dinner. The food truck was located approximately 20 minutes away from our location and had comfortable seating available for customers to enjoy their tacos. The menu offered a variety of delicious options such as tacos and burritos. Upon perusing the menu, we ultimately settled on fish tacos. The cost was also reasonable and not exorbitant. The service was satisfactory and our order was promptly prepared. The fish tacos we selected were delectable, and we thoroughly enjoyed their authentic flavor. The fish was cooked perfectly for the tacos. This is definitely a great spot to go if you're looking for authentic tacos.

TDO is my favorite taco spot I've tried to date. I came to tampa for the weekend and immediately knew I wanted to stop here. The customer service is top notch (they gave us margaritas on the house for cinco de mayo) and the quality of the food is consistent every time. I highly recommend getting the sopes and tacos, both the asada and al pastor are incredible.

My husband and I drive by this truck every weekend when we do our grocery shopping trips and have been telling ourselves we will stop by eventually! Well, we finally made the stop and no regrets! It was just as great as I anticipated and what made the stop cherry on top was they have $3 large horchata!! We ordered the tacos and sopes and they were beyond delicious. The sopes were basically a thick taco. Crunchy on the outside and soft of the inside. The tacos and sopes come with a red and green sauce. The red sauce definitely has kick to it. I think my favorite was the chicken taco and sopes. My husband actually agreed with me too and he's usually a steak/beef taco guy. Tacos are $2 and sopes are $3. Great price for authentic food! They have outdoor seating but it's pretty limited, but that's too be expected with a food truck, so we took our food and ate at home. The horchata is wonderfully spiced, sweet, and refreshing. I think I'm going to stop by on our next grocery trip even if I'm not hungry just for more horchata.

Called in my order of every taco but the Tripe and Tongue, and added some churros. My order was ready in 10 mins and my total for 5 tacos + churros was about $13. All of the tacos were pretty tasty, however some of them had burnt ends. My favorites were the Pastor and Carnitas Tacos. The churros were 4/$3 and they had some sauce injected into the middle of them which was pretty tasty. Will probably be back because you can't beat the price.

We stopped at the newer location for this taco truck at the Chevron gas station at 3939 Land O Lakes BLVD. There was only one person working but he was so friendly and pleasant. The wait wasn't too bad either. We tried out a taco (Azada), sope (Azada), burrito (Azada), and Agua de Orchata. The food was very good but my favorite was the sope! Highly recommend! I'm glad they have an authentic Mexican taco spot close to home. The Agua de Orchata was good - very cinnamon-y. Great prices and great customer service. Plenty of parking available around the gas station. Easy access in and out of the area to get to the food truck as well.

Good food, friendly, patient, service. Prices are very fair. The birria that is available on weekends is tasty. Tortillas are authentic.

Ordered: *Fresh table side guacamole -- This is a must have. Fresh ingredients and the right amount of spices make this a delectable starter. *Fajita Texana -- A trio of steak, chicken and shrimp served with all the sizzling fixings -- plenty of bell peppers, onions, tomatoes. This dish is shareable and incredibly mouthwatering. It's served with rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and tortillas: a perfect pairing for this dish. All fresh with a homestyle taste. *Margaritas -- This staple of a Mexican drink is like no other. Full of flavor, topped with dry edible fruits in a beautifully crafted glass. Service -- Our server was incredible: always courteous, professional and welcoming. Ambiance -- What a delightful and colorful place. Mariachis stop by every table and sign their hearts out; they even accept special song requests. This place is great for celebrations. There were so many birthday celebrations that evening and all were treated with spectacular happiness. Cannot say enough of this place...just that I loved it...! Don't you love good surprises? Yeah, me too…read more I'm a long fan of Vallarta's... and had been to most locations-except for two. This was one of them. For some reason, I never seemed to be in the area during margarita hours. That changed on Saturday, when we met up here for a weekend wind-down. It's bigger inside than you think-with a large dining room and a roomy separate bar area. I love the colorful Mexican-inspired tables and the tile on the room divider. There's a fun and festive vibe flowing in here. I'm very familiar with the Vallarta's menu and knew I wanted the cheese dip. You can use the complimentary chips (that come with salsa) for dipping, but I was craving the warm, soft tortillas---totally worth the extra $1.50 for three of them. I could have been full on that, but couldn't resist ordering one of the combos. For $16.95 (as of June 2026), I had a taco (beef/crunchy), an enchilada (cheese with verde sauce) and a chile poblano (no tomato sauce on top). What an amazing mix of flavors and textures-so tasty and filling, I took more than half of it home. That taco was stuffed with well-cooked beef, crunchy fresh lettuce and their yummy white cheese. Divine! The verde sauce had tons of spice and a depth of flavor. And the stuffed and battered poblano was huge! This is a massive value for money... and so satisfying! And the adorable sun shaped lime wedge on the margarita... sensational!!! That's their Instagram moment... and such a fun extra. So, I expected the solid food and fun atmosphere. But the service took this to the next level. Carlos was so accommodating. He really listened-made great suggestions-always picked the perfect moment to check in. He brought a plastic bag with the box for leftovers-and even a container for the remaining queso. His kindness and thoughtfulness is so appreciated-and elevated this experience. Bravo-and thank you. This location is in a bustling strip mall, on the south side of SR 54... just west of Wesley Chapel (the Caribou Coffee Shop is right in front of it-and there's a Trampoline jumping place next door). There's lots of parking-and you guys know how I love that. Can't wait to go back and bring the whole crew with me!

Pains me to write this, after 15+ years of rave reviews…read more I knew the original owners and still friends with many of the staff (John - Manager, Walter - Chips & others) - I will really miss them! The food quality has gone notably downhill after giving them 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th chances the last 12-18 months... but it's just not good. Taco salads minus the meat, over-cooked/under-seasoned chicken fajitas and rubbery Chile rellenos (today!) - Too long under the broiler....there wasn't even 1 good bite. The chips are good, but they were out of Modelo Especial three times of the last 4 visits, so I can't even say the beer is good. Sadly I don't think I'll give it a 6th chance and move on. RIP Luis - You wouldn't recognize the place :(

Chuy's has officially become part of our Silver Springs tradition. Whenever we're heading back…read morehome to Tampa after spending the day floating down the river in Ocala, if we're coming this way, we get excited knowing we can stop at Chuy's for some food and drinks before finishing the drive home. Yes, Chuy's is a chain, but if you're thinking typical chain-restaurant Tex-Mex, I personally think it's much better than that. I almost ALWAYS order the King's Memorial combo because for around $18, the amount of food you get is ridiculous--in the best way. You get a crispy taco, three enchiladas (cheese, beef AND chicken), Mexican rice and refried beans, plus crispy chips underneath the taco covered in that creamy queso. It hits the spot every single time, and I ALWAYS have leftovers. Little piece of advice: EAT THE TACO FIRST. Crispy tacos deserve to be enjoyed fresh and crunchy. They are not tomorrow's problem. My friend usually gets one of the burrito combos, which comes with a HUGE burrito, Mexican rice and black beans. She loves hers and usually ends up taking leftovers home too. I've also sampled enough food from other people's plates over the years to say I haven't really found anything here that I dislike. The fajitas are delicious, the margaritas are decent, and the prices are reasonable for the portions. Now let's talk about those complimentary chips and dips. We call the creamy one the "crack sauce." If you know, YOU KNOW. It comes out with the chips and salsa, and we literally have to make ourselves stop eating the chips because we want to save some of that creamy sauce for our actual meals. On our most recent visit, we sat on the bar side and had Ian taking care of us. He was friendly, respectful, quick with everything and checked in to make sure we were good. He even brought us some extra dipping sauce, which absolutely earned him bonus points with us. His name also happened to stick with me for a personal reason, so I definitely wanted to make sure he got his shout-out. The restaurant itself is super cute inside, and although we usually gravitate toward the bar side, the entire place has a fun atmosphere. Our service over multiple visits has consistently been good--20%-tip-worthy good--and the staff is usually pleasant and helpful. There are A LOT of restaurants to choose from in this area, especially if you're already over here shopping, so I know picking somewhere can get overwhelming. But if you like Tex-Mex and you've driven past Chuy's thinking, "Hmm... I wonder if that place is any good?" I definitely recommend stopping in at least once. If you hate it, I'm sorry. If you love it... you're welcome. We'll absolutely be back the next time our Silver Springs adventures bring us through Lutz!
