Came in on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted with friendly service. Ordered the Biscoff pancakes and they were stack high, soft, and jiggly of course!

The decor in this location is super cute and very Instagramable . The food was delicious. I had the bacon, mozzarella and corn as well as the chicken, mayo and mozzarella and cream cheese, hotdog, and pork floss. Super delicious and affordable. I also got a Mango Passionfruit Fruit Tea with Strawberry popping boba. Excited to come back.

I brought my 2 daughters aged 8 and 3 and they had an amazing time. We came on a Friday night around 7PM and had no problem finding a table. We ordered ice cream and Bingsu and none of us were able to finish since the serving sizes were so large. We then picked out our objects for the kids to paint and this is really where I was impressed with how sweet they were to my daughters in explaining the process and helping us get set up. Absolutely will be back again

What a great place. The desserts are pretty great. I got some taiyaki, the chocolate capybara, and the jelly cat. But I also go the Ube ice cream in the fish/taiyaki waffle cone. Personally, the ice cream in the waffle cone was worth the trip from Tampa. It was fantastic. The atmosphere here is very clean with modern furniture. I was a big fan of the music playing here. The service was good too. It's definitely worth checking out if you have a sweet tooth

Went here for the fluffy pancakes. Service: had to wait for someone to show up at the counter, but was otherwise OK. Food: we ordered the mango pancakes, the cookie butter pancakes and the chicken bento box. All was good. The pancakes are really more of a dessert place. Extremely light and fluffy, they feel like eating air. The chicken bento box was our favorite. Summary: While we had no big complaints here, it was a bit pricey and was fun for a Sunday morning brunch. So do with tasty what you will. Would return if in the area and looking for dessert.

We came here to try their famous Ube pancakes but ended up ordering that and a Taiyaki Sweet Filling (pastries shapes as fish with sweetness stuffed inside) and Karaage Popcorn Chicken. My favorite was the Ube pancake of course, followed by the popcorn chicken. Portions of the food are enough for 2-3 people. When you walk in, take a peek at the menu on the wall and make your way to the register to order. Once you order, you can sit anywhere and wait for your number to be called. We went on a weekend during lunch time, and while there was a decent amount of people, we were able to find a table easily. While waiting, you can take your selfies at the bench area or play the Claw machine to win a stuffed animal. A cute little spot off 60 near the Brandon Mall in the same plaza as Outback. You won't be disappointed!

I had been dying to try this fluffy pancakes for some time now, whenever I saw them on Instagram but now of them featured were close to where I lived. On a day that I was spending time for with niece, I figured it would be a good time to try them out and we were near Brandon where I had seen this location had them. Of course, she had never heard of them but normally is willing to try anything sweet. I was so excited to see that they had Ube on the menu as one of the flavor toppings so naturally that is what we ordered. I'll be honest, they are a little expensive for what you get and not knowing how my niece would like them, I wasn't willing to get her one just for herself. We made this just a snack that we could share and get food later if we wanted. The shop is super cute on the inside with lots of photo op areas. The Ube was great and I am glad I was finally able to try these yummy pancakes.

Kichi Taiyaki has to be one of the coolest spots to have opened in the Brandon area for Asian dessert fanatics. The service always friendly. They offer a plethora of dessert options such as BingSu, Famous Fluffy Pancakes, Boba, Coffee, Matcha, Ube, Taiyaki... this amazing list goes on. I recently tried their soft serve matcha ice cream with the Taiyaki with fruit pebbles and matcha powder on top (2 toppings included) and it was delicious!! My friend loved her ice cream as well and loved the vibe of the place as a KPOP fan she is with their KPOP music. It's a great spot to chill with friends and family, they even have a few arcade games to play; which we even won a capybara plushie! One of my proudest moments LOL. My family absolutely love their fluffy pancakes. I ordered the Creme brûlée pancake Togo however by the time I got home it wasn't as fluffy. However, as long as you eat your pancake fresh there my family says it's mouth-watering delicious. I also have tried their coffee, as well delicious and rich, they also had a milk substitute which is amazing for my lactose intolerant peeps. Go check them out when you're in the area!

    Red bean taiyaki

Ordered the classic soufflé pancake and the red bean taiyaki. Pancakes were pricey for the taste. The taiyaki didn't quite have the outer crust crunch that I expected. Service was good. Ambiance: this place has cute decor and is a good spot for young people to hang out.

After seeing this place keep popping up on Tik Tok I was excited to try it. They offer a good variety of food options from both savory to sweet and had a nice selection of coffee and tea to pick from, perfect for anyone craving something different. Their fluffy Japanese pancakes are a standout, but the real surprise was the range of savory dishes alongside the desserts. I tried the taiyaki in chicken, Ube, and red bean flavors. I was really impressed with the variety, having savory options like chicken alongside the sweet red bean and Ube was great. I had been excited to try the tuna flavor, but sadly, they were out that day. All the taiyaki flavors we tried were delicious. For pancakes, I got for the Ube crème brûlée pancakes, which were a seasonal option. These pancakes were very indulgen. They were super fluffy and topped with a rich, caramelized crème brûlée cream on top. While they were a bit on the sweet side (perfect for anyone with a major sweet tooth!), I was really glad to have the savory options like the taiyaki to balance it. Overall, if you're in the mood for a unique dessert experience definitely give this place a try. I'll be back to try more of their taiyaki and maybe try the tuna next time!

Stopped here after dinner for a quick snack I was excited to try the Uber ice cream, but they didn't have any, although it's on the display board. The girl said that was last week so we settled for the Nutella and vanilla swirl. We also ordered the custard taiyaki and the Uber matcha. Everything was good, the ice cream is one of the best soft serves I have had.

This place is really cute inside. It wasn't just at all around lunch time on a Wednesday. I orders the Karaage Popcorn Chicken spicy. It was hot, fresh, and really good. However, it wasn't spicy to me. I also ordered the mango passion fruit tea. I'm this was also really good and not overly sweet.

    Tiffany H.

I went to Kichi Taiyaki and had their mango passionfruit tea with brown boba as well as the spicy gyoza! The mango passionfruit tea was very refreshing and delicious. The boba added a nice little touch to it. The veggie gyoza was fresh, hot, and tasty. It had a nice flavor and kick to it. The dipping sauce gave it a delightful balance to the spice. I would definitely recommend adding this place to your must try's. The service was great and I was assisted immediately.

I have always disliked matcha (and I've tried it all over the world...) I mentioned that to the owner and he said "Nooooooo- you've not had it made the right way!" And he gave me an awesome education about matcha. Even shared the one he was making so I could experience it the way God intended....with an "ahhhhh" , a smile, and a chocolate cold foam mustache! Perfection! It didn't taste like dirt, it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry in liquid form! We intended to pop in for a coffee, stayed for a coffee, a matcha, an education, and the cool vibes put out by the folks here. They actually talk, smile, laugh and joke with their new friends (aka. customers) which is a very nice change from some places you go these days. They have a guitar for any artist to play and many drink options like kava tea, loose leaf, coffee, smoothies, beer, sodas and more! The barista/bartender Zoey was super sweet! She answered all my newbie questions and recommendations. I tried their iced latte with coconut and caramel which was DELISH. The coffee was smooth with a strong flavor which I like, but not bitter. I was still getting their key lime pies at Winn-Dixie up until this past week. For those who are not local, they started their business in Tampa over 30 years ago. The pies can be found nationally at restaurants and grocery stores. They happened to be one of many contestants in a pie contest on GMA recently which prompted me to look up their address. They are closer than I thought. As others have said, it's hidden. Thankfully I read the reviews stating that because it still took me a while to find it. I had also read that you need to call ahead if you want something specific, or during the holiday rush for pies. I went on a whim to see what they had available. They had many frozen pies, and I believe some were being held for pick up orders. She said there was one seasonal guava cheesecake left. At that point, I didn't even really care what other flavors they had. I think they had key lime, pecan, and others. It was guava that screamed the loudest to me. It was a very quick transaction after that. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I kept it in the car for a while because I had other errands to run. It defrosted enough were I could pull out a slice of it and pop the rest into the freezer (yep, it can be refrozen). These cheesecakes are already pre-sliced which is very convenient. Mind you, these are larger than any of the Mike's Pies sold at grocery stores. There are 12 big slices in this cheesecake. I couldn't wait for my slice to defrost. I went ahead and ate it partially frozen. It was the best cheesecake ever! The guava is not just on top of it. It's mixed inside the cheese cake. It had guava in every bite. It ended up being so creamy towards the end as it continued to defrost. Maybe because I took my sweet time savoring each bite. I so wish this flavor was on their regular local menu. I remember seeing it on the menu at Fat Willie's Fish Camp back in September but they ran out of it. I feel like this cheesecake was meant for me to find. I will get it again whenever it's back on the local menu. This cheesecake will have to last until then.
