    Pistachio Croissant

Great Ybor location with street parking. Clean and welcoming inside with a few tables for eating in. Between the three of us we tried the Guava Pastry (Delicious- you could taste the butter!), Pistachio and Tiramisu Croissants- full of delicious cream. You "shoot" the espresso into the croissant when you are ready to eat. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back to try some savory items!

I love everything about this place. Everything is fresh. The counter can be a little scary and daunting with all of the great food laid out but the staff will walk you through everything. Coffee does the trick and is cheap. Full espresso machine inside as well. Being located in Ybor gives you the freedom to be mobile and walk and eat the scenic Ybor strip, what more could you want.

I've been here twice. In each time. I feel like I am a welcome member of the community. There's such care taken with these baked goods. They are beautiful and delicious. The bakery is is modern well, and a great location. It's my new favorite place

Such a cute local gem with friendly service and amazing pastries and coffee! I got the pistachio croissant and a coconut latte and both were delicious. The workers were very nice and answered all our questions and helped us decide what we wanted, which was hard with such a huge selection of things that we wanted to try. Will definitely be back to try more pastries!

The display case of pastries at Tico's bakery is beautiful. I ordered a pistachio crossaint and a chocolate and strawberry crossaint. My first bites on the ends of the crossaints were unimpressive. The crossaints tasted like the were a day old even through I picked them up at 10:30am on a Friday. The filling tastes much better and I did enjoy the middle of the crossaints more. The service was quick and friendly and I would go there again to try coffee and some other food items.

Ticos is one of the best bakeries around! They have an amazing selection of pastries, sweet and salty, they also offer one of the best cachitos(Venezuelan ham bread) I've had! Service was excellent! They were very nice and attentive, their chocolate croissant is also out of this world! I also tried their coffee and it was pretty good! The place looks very nice and neat! They have some prepaid street parking in front! Coming back for sure to get some cachitos again!

The amazing smells when you first walk in was lovely. Right by the historic district in Ybor, this bakery was a site for sore eyes. We ordered the cinnamon rolls, pistachio Berliner and almond croissants. All were perfect. The almond croissant was soft and doughy and had a perfect amount of filling. The berliners were delicious and flavorful. All these would have been great with coffee, which they offered, but we didn't order.

We visited for the first time to check it out as they recently opened. We were warmly greeted as we walked in and the smell was amazing. The display was beautiful and everything looks so fresh. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and pastries. They are beautifully crafted as you can see. The cinnamon roll was fantastic and a pretty decent portion size so you can eat in and still have some left over. They'll even warm it up for you if asked. The coffee was also really good too!

Visited Tico's Bakery and really enjoyed it. First things first, my biggest question was parking. Okay so there's a parking in the back and come to find out afterwards, it said Columbia's, but I def saw people coming from Tico's park so we did too. We walked to the front of the building and across the street is another parking lot. I didn't check how much it cost but it appears to have a Park Mobile there. Down the street are some meters same side as the bakery, but currently covered due to the Reliaquest parade happening later. They have low tables and a comfy couch and two chairs like a mini living room or lounge space. They are very nice. This is a Venezuelan bakery so it peaked my interest. They currently had homemade sourdough bread, sweet bread loaves, and pan de jamon(traditional Venezuelan bread for Xmas). I wanted it but didn't want to pay around $30. We ordered two guava and cheese pastries and one pistachio cream filled brioche. Everything is amazing here. We didn't order a drink just had water. Will def be back to try more.

Such a cute intimate bakery! The pastries were delicious and the coffee was superb! I made sure to order pastries to go as well! The pistachio cream inside of the croissant reminded me of a bakery my husband and I had went to by the Amalfi coast in Italy!

Wanted to show Ybor sum love, This lil Venezuela spot is new-new. The sandwiches look great in their display. Pastries are good also. Very friendly peeps

This is a new bakery located in Ybor. The inside is super trendy and modern. I love the light fixture and glass pastry displays. This is my true and honest review. Everything looked much better than it tasted. I wouldn't say it was a bad taste. It just was very average in my opinion. I had a chocolate cinnamon roll. It was good, but I didn't really taste any cinnamon. It was all just chocolate. I also had a cheese roll which had ham and cheese inside of it. That was OK. I also tried the chicken roll, which had chicken stuffed inside a pastry that was a little dry for my liking, however went well with the sauce. Overall, I would say this bakery is just OK nothing very special. It's nice to have the option in the area.

Tico's Bakery lives by their motto "always fresh". Stopped in for a cafe frio and cinnamon roll and they were absolutely FRESH. Stop by and support this newly opened business if able. They have lots of sweet treats and the ambiance inside is super clean/new. The service was spot on and friendly.

The inside is a decent size with tables, cute decor and lots of plants. When I first walked in, I was taken back by how beautiful the pastry display cases were!! I had the hardest time choosing which pastry to get because they all looked like works of art!! Super friendly staff, great service but now to get to the goods: the coffee and pasties. This is a true authentic French bakery, no doubt in my mind. The iced salted caramel latte is the best I have EVER had. I could taste every flavor and it blended with the coffee perfectly. The ham and cheese croissant was so flakey, the perfect ham ratio and just all around fantastic. The pastry I got had raspberry jam and white chocolate ganache (I don't remember the name of it) and it was seriously the best pastry I've ever had. Most pastries can be too sweet, but this was just right. The jam tasted fresh and homemade (probably is!) and the white chocolate ganache gave it just a touch of sweetness. It is a little pricey so be warned: $48 for two coffees and two pastries. Definitely worth a splurge!!

They were huge and priced to match. Having been to France where they are a few euros, it feels inconceivable to pay $10 for a croissant but perhaps it's like getting 2. Yes, I would get it again but sticker makes it a treat opposed to a regular buy...sorry that's my one knock. Good lamination of the pastry dough with a cream filling made it both a great breakfast or snack treat to share. The pistachio crusted was wonderful. Guava cream even pleased a friend who tried our bounty. Service was pleasant but we didn't interact much since it was boxed and ready to go. When I spoke with the person behind the counter she told me she could make up a few more for me but that it would be about ten minutes or so which I was okay with and glad that she was willing to do so. I told her I would visit the other shops in the plaza and be back. I waited the time and returned only to find out that she was told by someone, the owner or manager that she couldn't make anymore. So I wasted my time and spent unnecessary money on a drink elsewhere to only have that result. I know it wasn't her fault but I thought that was bad customer service. Probably more than a year later, I was down in that area again so I called ahead to see if they had any available. They did so I stopped in and got one. Now, I know Pistachios are expensive but, I do not believe what I got was worth $10.00. Even with my love of Pistachios, I thought that the top of the croissant was too covered with them to make it an enjoyable bite as it was over powered on the half that was covered. The croissant itself was a little over baked as well. I do not remember what flavor I got the first visit but the croissant was properly baked that time. I know there can be off days and maybe I visited on those days given the customer service during the first visit and the over baked goods on the 2nd but I won't rule them out, just won't go out of my way to return either.

Paris Baguette has EVERYTHING I love. Cake. Latte. Bread. Pastries. What more can a woman ask for???!!! I was already swooning over the photos and menu options seen on Yelp and Google, but TASTING is BELIEVING and now I'm so glad that I can say it's everything I hoped it would be. It's like a little piece of Paris right here in Tampa! (I've been). So I've come for cake, stayed for latte and quiche, and because why not, threw in the salad so that lunch and dinner is taken care of, too! Okay, first off...what I got. The quiche is light and airy, and is basically a croissant with quiche filling instead of a quiche slice. I love croissants, so this was a nice treat for me that I could hold in my hand. The Salted Caramel Latte I thought was pretty unique, because yes, there's a PRETZEL on top of it (which I plucked off and ate the first thing when I got it. Tasted rich and delicious, and was a great companion for my food. Now, usually I don't bat so much as an eye for a salad, but that Korean beef salad looked fresh and yummy, and it would definitely take care of dinner for the day because, why not, while I'm out? It was a decent size too, not too filling, with a good variety of veggies such as cukes, carrots, tomatoes, on top of mixed greens with Korean beef, which was the only heavy thing on the salad so you don't feel weighed down. It's great to know if you're watching your waist line or caloric intake, Paris Baguette has you covered with no problem as the nutrition facts are listed on the menu so you can make an informed choice. Of course, their cakes are so good, you wouldn't help but want to indulge. Which brings me to my final point. When I saw MOCHA CAKE on the menu, I thought, OMG I have to have it!!! It's EVERYTHING I could want and more and I must ask WHY ISN'T MOCHA CAKE MORE OF A THING NOW???? The sponge cake was light and airy like a coffee cloud as was the buttercream, not too sweet, rounding out my whole meal in nice elegant, finish. The shop itself is cute, but Muffin and I ate outside since the outside area is dog friendly. It reminds me of those open-air cafes in Europe, especially in Paris, elevating my lunch experience with my dog. The staff is super nice and welcoming on approach, too. It's a bit of a drive for me, but it's really not THAT bad depending on when I go and the business hours help, too. I can't wait to go back and make this a regular spot whether I just want a tasty healthy lunch, or I seek to indulge!

I most recently took my sister here for the first time while we were visiting for a concert and she loved it, too! We started with iced baklava lattes and the greek donuts (loukoumades) drizzled with honey and this was actually my first time have these here. They're served hot and fresh -- absolutely delicious! When I want something light for breakfast, my go-to is the Everything but the Bagel yogurt bowl (house cured wild caught salmon, cucumber, pickled red onion, tomato, crispy capers, & everything seasoning). It's such a fresh gorgeous bowl, packed with protein. I also love their extra thick cut bacon on the side. I ordered the shredded chicken salad, and to be fair, the chicken was absolutely delicious. My issue was that it was served over a basic mixed greens salad with very few extras, and paying around $30 for it felt excessive. The loukoumades (Greek donuts) were also delicious, but again, the portion was surprisingly small for about $16. One thing that also frustrates me is that they seem to be out of many of their bakery items first thing in the morning. They do warn customers about this, but it seems to happen consistently, which is disappointing when you're visiting a bakery and hoping for the full selection. The outdoor seating also wasn't the most enjoyable. It was quite loud, the seating wasn't especially comfortable, and there were a lot of flies, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, the food tasted good, but the value just isn't there for me. I don't mind paying premium prices when the portions, experience, or atmosphere justify it, but I left feeling like I paid far more than what I received.
