Best bagel I've had in a longgg time! The Fancy Pete has my heart We came here on a Sat morning and they had a pretty long line - but service is super quick and the space is pretty nice so it make the wait easy. I tried their coffee too and it was yummy!
Updating my review to add additional bagel pics! Still some of my favorite bagels in Tampa, I love every time we get bagels here! Perfect consistency and flavors. I don't typically like asiago bagels, but I LOVE Pete's asiago bagels! Definitely give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
Great location in Ybor right next to a dog park and on Saturday there was a fun market out back! My daughter wanted to try their bagels! I loved that hers was balanced and not overly sweet and mine was delicious but you have to love pickles as they were a bit overwhelming. Bagels had good texture bit I wish salt vagel actually had more salt on it! Service was quick and loved all the outside seating!
Hopping and popping! This place is bright and banging on weekday mornings! It's hard to be vibrant at 8am on a Tuesday, but Pete's is! Located on the south side of Ybor, in what looks to be a restored/repurposed two story home, it has quaint wooden steps and a wrap-around porch, with tables on the side. Inside, there are several two-seater bench seats/chair combo tables and one four-seater round table. There's tons of natural light from all the big windows-so it's super cheerful inside, on a sunny day. And the steady stream of customers-who also seemed super cheerful on both visits-make it feel very friendly and welcoming. Now, the joint is jumping-so it's best if you know what you want. There's really no room to pull over and study the menu. I kept it simple and ordered a salt bagel both times. I preferred the double toasting, which I did the first time-it comes out crispier. I also preferred the seasonal tea I had the first time, to the chai tea I had the second time. But, those are just my goofs (kind of like my bad parallel parking job, out front. Sorry curb---and rims!) I'll do better on ordering (and parking) next time. Speaking of parking, there are some spots on the street out front and you can pay through a parking app-or there's a small lot around the corner with a pay-by-plate kiosk. Follow the Ybor roosters-they know the way.
The bagels were fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they're made with quality ingredients. The flavors were solid and satisfying, making it a nice spot for a quick breakfast or snack. The only downside was that the space felt a bit small for a weekend in Tampa, and it got pretty crowded, which made seating a little tight.

I loved the sun-dried tomato and feta flavor of the cream cheese. All the ingredients were super fresh and light. A simple, but yummy bagel. I'll definitely be back to try the Original Pete next time.

I absolutely love Pete's Bagels! I've been coming here for a few months now and every time it hits the spot. Parking is easily accessible right out front and does not cost anything. They have a great indoor and outdoor seating selection. Great for after church gatherings and meeting friends! I got a bunch of assorted bagels and pastry items for the week. I typically will freeze the bagels if I know I'm going on vacation and they hold up really well even after being frozen. My favorite bagel by far is their onion bagel with cream cheese like wow! It's so delicious! They are always freshly made and by far the best Bagel spot Ybor has to offer.
Pete's is solid! They have amazing portions and great options. The only thing I don't like is that the staff always seem not friendly and the menu has been the same for a long time. It's a great spot to take your pals, they have most seating outdoors but indoor seating as well. You have to pay to park! No gluten free options but they do have vegan options :)
Saved this bag of bagels from Too Go To Go app! Bag was $6.38. I love the vibe of the shop but since I was picking up after store hours, I didn't get to stay and look too long. The bagels are heavy, dense, and very aromatic. I could tell when they handed me the bag. I am very happy with the quality of the bagels. They are very flavorful. I was given a great variety of bagels to try and even a bakery item. This place was very cool and I would absolutely go back to try the bagel sandwiches.

Run to Pete's!! Any location, honestly, but especially this one. While they almost always have a line out the door, it is ALWAYS worth the wait. I love that they have premade recipes so you don't have to make up your own bagel and mannnnn do they hit! I've had 3 different sandwiches now from them because I can't stop going back and they've all been stellar. Two amazing things to highlight that sets Pete's apart. 1. They offer a punch card! idk about y'all but I LOVE A PUNCH CARD! 2. There is a dog park attached to the patio so even if you don't bring your pup with you, there is plenty of cutie pie entertainment while you eat. Not only are the bagels incredible, but the matcha is bangin! My wife and I always get the lavender matcha and it has never missed. For the best experience, I'd recommend to go early and to sit outside. Because the line gets long, it's gets a bit cumbersome to eat inside PLUSSSS not only do you get pup entertainment but since they're in Ybor, you get free chicken entertainment. Who doesn't love a good nature scene when eating the best bagel you've ever had. One last great thing about Pete's is that they have bike parking and plenty of it. Makes for a lovely Sunday morning ride to brunch! read more
Ooweee!!! I love when bagel shops do not disappoint. Ordered the cinnamon bagel with cream cheese. And it was delicious. The bagel tasted somewhat like a "coffee cake" it had a little of the cinnamon sugar on top and as you can see in the picture the cream cheese DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Remind me of a good ol New York bagel! Will definitely return asap! read more

Really great bagels. We visited on a Sunday morning around 9 am and waited about 30-40 minutes total (line, ordering, getting our food). I think the wait was worth it (we really wanted to try this place on our visit). Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. read more
Awesome bagels at Petes! They have an extensive menu of bagel sandwiches and schmears! I did a customer asiago bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, bacon, tomato and arugula. The bacon was cooked soft, had it been crispy I think that would have made it so much better! The coffees were great as well, I would stop in just for coffee. Keep in mind they do get really busy, we waited a full hour. About 40 minutes in line and another 20 for the bagels. Would come back to Petes soon!! read more
I have recently become obsessed with Pete's bagels in St Pete, and this location is no different! The ambiance here is adorable, with a really nice outdoor seating area as well as a small indoor seating area. The bagels are soft and fluffy and the cream cheese flavor options are amazing! I wish they had more sweet bagel & cream cheese options, but otherwise I'm a big fan. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back many more times to this location as well! read more
What a GREAT stop this was on our Tampa trip! We were searching for a quick and easy breakfast before heading home, and this hit the mark. There was a line to get in, but the shop is small and the line went quickly. Definitely worth it! We had coffees and tried 3 of the bagel sandwiches - a standard bacon egg and cheese, the original with lox, and a special for the weekend that had soppressata and mozzarella with balsamic and pesto. The special was definitely the winner!! The flavors were great and so refreshing. All of the sandwiches were great quality on fresh bagels. The lox option was a big hit, too. The outdoor seating area was perfect for bringing your breakfast out to eat at, and there are a few seats inside as well. Can't wait to check out the other locations when I'm on the coast! read more

If you like bagels, coffee and dog parks, you'll love Pete's. Expect a line out the door and a bit of a wait- counter service only. But that never stops me from returning and there's always a place to sit inside and outside. There's a little dog park right off side with picnic tables. read more
Good breakfast sandwiches, friendly service and nice outdoor seating. Popular spot on a Saturday morning. We arrived just after 10am and paid for street parking. The line was out the front door, but it's a small place so it took about 15 min for us to get to the front. The line continued to be out the front door until we left! The fun combinations or bagels sounded so good but I wanted some protein and I'm not a lox fan so I got an everything bagel with an egg and scallions cream cheese. My husband got a bacon egg and cheese with jalapeño cream cheese on an Asiago bagel. We also got an iced latte and a chai latte. Waited about 5 min for our drinks and another 5 min for the food so not bad for how busy they are. We sat outside next to the dog park. Lots of nice seating outside. The bagels were good, nothing phenomenal like bagels from up north in New England. But they were fresh. Jalapeño cream cheese wasn't spicy at all which I think makes it better because use you can taste the jalapeño. A bit messy with the cream cheese for sure and we thought the egg and bacon portions were not very sizable. Lattes were both delightful. Paid just under $30 for two bagel sandwiches and 2 drinks. read more
We tried an assortment of bagels and pastries from Pete's in Ybor for our first visit and they didn't disappoint! The sesame bagel reminds me of the ones in Montreal but a lot larger. These bagels are generous in size, with great variety. My second favorite flavor was the everything bagel. For sweets we tried a few things, the coffee cake, cranberry muffin and salted chocolate chip. I think the cookie was my favorite of those, followed by the coffee cake. I decided to just try bagels/sweets for my first visit but there's plenty of bagel sandwiches I'd like to try next time. I love the cute space outside, and the options to sit outside too. Cute spot with lots of outdoor seating. The service is friendly. I got a matcha latte a while back that I enjoyed but this review is mainly for the bagel I got today. I was so happy to see they have vegan options. Their vegan cream cheese was delicious and I can't wait to try their vegan breakfast sandwich next time! Really good authentic bagels too. read more
The Basics: Pete's Ybor is known for its bagels and coffee. However, I love that Pete's is an all day cafe, so by the afternoon you can get a sandwich and wine. The restaurant is very cute and there is a nice outdoor patio next to a dog park (so definitely bring your pup). Things I like: These are some of the best bagels in Tampa and the coffee is delicious as well. I tried the Original Pete and loved it! Things I didn't like: Nothing, LOVE this spot, but keep in mind that a line starts to form around 10am. Overall, my favorite spot in Tampa to enjoy a bagel breakfast and coffee. Pete's Ybor is a wonderful addition to the Tampa Bay area. read more
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Ybor main strip is Pete's. This place is a good spot to just sit, relax and people watch or get work done all while enjoying an above average bagel and coffee. The decor is cute and chic with plenty of outdoor seating. A dog park is right next to it making it a great spot to take your furry best friend. With that being said, I left with more to be desired in terms of food and beverage. I ordered the Cortado ($4.25) and for that price, I was expecting a better espresso flavor. 3/5 for me. I also had a Garlic Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese ($5.25) and again, the price was too high for the lack of cream cheese and overall basic bagel. 3/5. The ambiance (5/5) is what will bring me back but I've also read stellar reviews about the sandwiches so I will try one of those next time I need a quiet spot to work and am craving a bagel. read more
As a bagel and coffee lover I was excited to try out Pete's! I stopped by on a Friday morning around 8:30 am - no line and several tables filled with people enjoying their morning delights. I ordered a brown sugar vanilla latte, brown sugar cinnamon poptart and a breakfast sandwich bagel. The star of the show was surprisingly the poptart - it was absolutely amazing especially when warmed up. The coffee wasn't anything to rave about sadly maybe the shot was not prepared correctly.. I am not sure what went wrong. Their espresso set up is legit and they have house made syrups so I was expecting a better latte. The bagel was pretty solid, but again.. I was expecting more. The ambiance is lovely here and there is a dog park right next to the shop. Customer service was great also. Overall: I am glad I tried out this spot, but it's not somewhere I see myself coming back to. It was fun to come and try though! read more

It was my first time visiting Ybor and Pete's, both the food and coffee were amazing!! I got an oatmilk iced latte with brown sugar vanilla syrup, and the plant Pete bagel sandwich with jalapeño cream cheese! It was one of the best plant based sandwiches I've ever had, and it was very filling. I also got a bagged coffee to try out as well! They also have other beverage selections in the fridge for juice, energy drinks, alcoholic seltzers, etc. Everyone was very nice and helpful! Nice place to work or have a brunch date or hang out! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Tampa adventure, and I would highly recommend!! Side note: the manatee decor is super cute! read more

Let me tell you what is nothing but GOOD, and that is Pete's Bagels. I thought Bagels R Us in Jacksonville was good, but Pete's is on another level, soft, buttery, flavorful, DELICIOUS. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich with a sesame bagel and I ordered the same but with an Asiago bagel. Normally, it's a bagel with over baked asiago cheese sprinkled on top. Not this time! The cheese was PRESENT on this bagel. Pete's will definitely be going on the "must stop at when in Tampa" list. Oh... PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE. Pete's Bagels, St. Augustine is waiting on you! Take a chance and EXPAND. read more

First and foremost this is not your "typical bagel" place. There are no Large bins of bagels with all the offerings of various cream cheese and the like. There's kind of an artsy feel to this old house in a historic neighborhood. The interior is small but there's a large open deck outside for seating. They also have a small menu with drink choices and sandwiches to choose from. There is one register and everything is prepared fresh in the back and delivered by a friendly staff. If there's a line in front of you be prepared to wait as it moves slow depending on the orders taken before you. Big thing we only bought the everything bagels both plain and prepared and they are very good bagels which I guess is what counts. Their bagel variety is small compared to an traditional bagel shop but good. read more
Living in NYC for 4 years, I'm still picky about my bagels but overall it's not bad. Standard FL bagels haha! Love the new Ybor location as they have a cute set-up patio in the back and a cute vibe overall. There is a dog park next to it too. I ordered an everything bagel, toasted with avocado spread. Their Matcha and Chai Ice Teas are pretty good too. read more

Love the set up of the restaurant! The outdoor area is perfect to enjoy the nice weather and it's right next to a dog park where you can watch pups play. I got the millennial with an egg which was really tasty and a coffee that was on the watery side. I think it's on the over-priced side for what you actually get I spent $40 for 2 bagels and 2 regular coffees (with no server). read more
This is such a cute location! There's a small dog park to bring pets with outdoor clean bathrooms. The breakfast sandwich is great and the bagels are soft, you may need to wait for the food but it is worth it! The staff are always available cleaning tables and making our drinks! The iced mocha is my favorite! read more
This was probably one of the BEST bagels I have ever had in my entire life. It was cooked to perfection. The bagel itself was so fresh and light. It didn't leave me feeling bloated or heavy afterwards. The egg, avocado, and pickled onions were heavenly. When I first got the line was out the door (apparently the norm for here), and the wait was worth every second!!!! I will be returning to bring family and friends! 100/10 experience P.S. the seating is plus size friendly! Yay! read more
