Very dirty location and dirty owner, the owner literally argues with people in the review section and speaks to them like a toxic narcissist who can't take constructive criticism. If he does not like your review, he will literally tell you that you're exaggerating, goes on to try to teach you a life lesson, rather than just shutting up and fixing the issue. I would have completely deleted my review if the owner responded with an appropriate response, but I had a feeling he was going to somehow make it my problem. So now, rather than me deleting my review, I have left a review on every platform. It is COMICAL the owner is telling me that I need to think about his virtual clients that ordered to go for delivery ( which is a lie because the shop was about to close LOL ) that's kind of weird. I don't need to think about anyone. It's his job to keep things clean and stocked. Invest into your business so you don't have everyone comparing your location to others. read more

I am not sure how this place has four stars. There is always several flavors that come out runny or machines completely out of order. The floor looks dingy, the drinks available are limited. They run out of cups or lids or a mix of both. The "fresh" fruits are usually bad or tart. It's a poorly run shop definitely not FOUR stars! The worst part is if you look close enough around the toppings are there are tiny little ant like bugs crawling on the wall and counter. I do not recommend AT ALL!!! 5 star off the bat. Great taste n value. I ordered through door dash. It was late to so this review would've been a 4.5 cuz they didn't give me the correct toppings for one if the ice cream. They gave mine all of them but the ones for my mother were switched up. When i got to the strawberries I realized they filled half the cup with boba n she doesn't like those. All she got was the cheese cake bytes. Other than the toppings hiccups? The ice cream is well made. I almost dropped it down to a 4 star cuz they gave me the wrong flavor n the first flavor in my mouth was mc d swirls but u let it settle in your mouth? You can pickup the yogurt flavors. The more i ate it, the tastier it got. The rock chocolate gets stone hard under cold temp so watch out with your teeth, the boba is good, caramel was delightful, cheese cake to, the brownie although very rich n tasty i found it way to little for .75 cents. I think ill skip that next time n buy a dollar one in the gas station. I gotta say for the large cup n the toppings it is well priced! Amazing frozen yogurt and so many choices. All the machines looked so clean which I really appriciated and they even had vegan optains! And they had so many choices for toppings. Update February 16: it's been about a year since my last review, so I thought I should follow-up. Well, things have changed! The place has gone downhill and is filthy. Wear some tight-fitting shoes so the sticky floors don't pull your shoes off. The front door is disgustingly dirty too. Granted it was likely a busy Sunday, but filth has no place in an eating establishment. We trust restaurants to be scrupulously clean to protect our health and it looks like no one cares here. Yogurt machines require a lot of maintenance and I can't really trust them to do what is necessary to sterilize those machines in this environment. Even the immediate outside area is a mess. The bike shop nextdoor and the Starbucks seem to keep their storefronts nice, why can't they? On a positive note: the yogurt itself is very, very good and they do try to keep the candies, etc. presentable, although the selection of goodies seems to have been cut in half. Just clean the place up and find a paintbrush. The store decor is oriented toward children with gaudy colors and an mini-indoor playground. So, a group of adults going out for a snack might feel uncomfortable. Ditto for a teen date night. They used to play kid music to appeal to really young kids, but I didn't notice it this time. Perhaps, they realize there are more than just kids that eat frozen desserts. read more

This place is located in the Winthrop plaza off of Bloomingdale Avenue at the cusp between Brandon and Riverview Florida. It's across the driveway south of the Acropolis restaurant. It's a nice addition to this little brick town like plaza and makes for a good after dinner dessert trip or afternoon snack. They have a handful of different flavors of frozen yogurt similar to most of the other frozen yogurt shops. They have a fair amount of toppings, but not as much as I've seen in other places. I see this place as fulfilling its purpose of satisfying someone's sweet tooth after dinner or during a stroll around this place. My experience here was about average. The last yogurt bowl I had was of half banana and half Oreo flavored with toppings of my choice which served their purpose for me. It was decent. read more

So sad because it has so much potential in a cute location - would be perfect for dessert after dinner, or a quick treat. It took an employee 15 minutes to come out from the back. I understand that covid has made things difficult and that's always my initial thought but 3 employees walked out from the back at the same time. It's obvious that they do not care about service . This place is absolutely disgusting. The yogurt machine handles were sticky, the topping area was crummy and disgusting and the spoons used to pick up the toppings were filthy! I wanted to sit in with my young daughter to eat but the tables and chairs were so disgusting that we had to eat our yogurt in the car, luckily it was a nice day so we could sit comfortable with the windows down.. we definitely had to sanitize our hands after leaving that dirty place! I've been to this location before and it was pretty good! However, when my friend and i went tonight, the female closer was extremely rude from the beginning like she was annoyed we were there. Barely even acknowledged us. We ate, then sat at the tables outside for a few minutes. She comes outside when it had JUST hit 10:00 (we were about to get up) and says "We're closed, you need to leave now. I need to wipe off the tables and I'd like to go home so.." ....she had just started cleaning the inside. I'm in the service industry so i get needing to close but she was incredibly rude. First off, i would like to say that the customer service was 10/10. The ONLY young lady who served me and my two daughters was very helpful and sweet! She went above and beyond for us and even gave my daughters stickers after we had gotten our yogurt. The reason I am leaving two stars is because after having sat in the store for 15 minutes I noticed that the young lady was the only one there. Unfortunately since she was the only one dealing with customer after customer, she could barely attend to others in the store if they needed anything. I'm glad we had a good experience and I'm sure others did too, but you could tell she was getting very overwhelmed and I don't blame her. This is not how you treat workers, let alone teenagers!! The "new owner" thought it was a good idea to get rid of cake batter ..... The one flavor EVERYONE FREAKING LOVES!!!! Not sure what business school you got your degree from but when you have a staple that is popular and people always get: don't get rid of it and replace it with some substandard crap! All the flavors that were available today were weihorrible! I don't think I've ever been to a menchies where they didn't have cake batter, tart, and original available (none were available at your location) Great way to lose customers! In response to the owners response: I was told by your employee that you in fact did not have that flavor because you were trying "new flavors" and that a lot of customers were upset you didn't have the staple flavors. We love Menchie's! It's my daughters favorite froyo place so we Ordered her a custom cake for my daughter's birthday today. There was a hiccup with the cake being delayed and it would not be ready in time for her party. Initially I was a little annoyed however Menchie's employees and managers were so friendly and went above and beyond to make it right. My daughter and I LOVE Menchies! This is our go to place on Friday's after school. It provides a nice little healthy treat and she loves being able to sample all the different flavors offered for the week. This is located right within the same location as her school so getting here is quick and easy. I love the atmosphere and the employees are always very nice and accommodating. There are plenty of options to choose from and the toppings are great too! She loves all the fresh fruit that is available to add to her frozen yogurt.
