I would not recommend Uber Eating this spot due to a couple hit or miss experiences with smoothies. It was about 10A and plenty of seating. The staff were nice. An açaí bowl for breakfast customized your way seems like the way to go. It was about 50 bucks for 3 customized bowls. The ingredient options seem to be fresh. The mango didn't taste ripe to me but I enjoyed the bowl and will definitely return. read more

I wish there was one in my area. I was visiting Tampa from the DMV and really wanted to try grain and berry. I asked if they could package it so I could travel with it the next day and eat for breakfast on the plane. And let's just say I had the best flight back home and really enjoyed my açaí bowl. I normally get an açaí bowl but for this occasion i got a protein smoothie. I ordered the Bean Healthy protein smoothie. It was a plant based Coffee with protein powder, Banana, Almond Milk, Peanut Butter, Honey. So good! It was delicious! Not overly sweet & just right. They people were very friendly and helpful. There are so many different options to choose from. As far as cost, it was not bad. Your getting fresh ingredients without all of the extra. oh baby! If I lived in the area I would for sure be a regular here. They have many options of açaí bowls, it took me a while to decide what I wanted because they all sounded good. Most of the bowls came with nutella too, which I love because a lot of açaí places don't offer that (you usually have to add it on for extra $$- why is everything extra &&??). I got the dragon berry pitaya bowl and it went down gooood. The only thing I'd say is I wish there was a little less granola and a little more filling but that's a pretty minor complaint and really a personal preference, the bowl was still fantastic and I finished every last bite all the same. They have a lot of other items too, like smoothies, juices, coffee, parfaits, avocado toast, and even a yogurt banana split, which I thought was interesting and haven't really seen before. My only disappointment was their eggs scramble avocado toast - the eggs being cold and a small portion and for what the flavor was, I knew I could've made out better having made the avocado toast at home. So far I've only tried juices and smoothies and they're among the best I've ever had. Highlights: Beet the Heat - zippy ginger enhances the complexity of beets with the pleasant sweetness of apples. Summer Glow - pineapple, carrot, turmeric (I like to add ginger and cayenne pepper). Healthy Elvis Smoothie - banana, peanut butter & chocolate protein is one of the best tasting cold chocolate drinks I've had and worked as a good "meal replacement" Health Nut smoothie - peanut butter, banana, banana protein (I like to add cinnamon) had me smiling. My first Vegan review! The Grain and Berry is a chain store in Riverview near the Big Bend intersection with 301. Wandering around during the long wait to have store changed, a cool juice sounded perfect on this balmy (sweltering) Florida day. I ordered a Beet the Heat juice and a Go Fig or Go Home flatbread. The juice consists of Beets, Apple, Ginger, Cayenne and Lemon. Since I'm more of a heat than a sweet guy, this sounded right up my alley. It was delicious! A smooth, sweet-sour blend with a slight kick at the end. I'd like a bit more cayenne, but for general consumption it was good. Presented on a board, the flatbread came on a cauliflower dough topped with a sweet Fig Spread, Sliced Brie, Apple, Arugula, Olive Oil, Sea Salt, Pepper and a Balsamic Glaze. Overall it was decent; but I neither saw, nor tasted any salt or pepper, so it was predominately sweet. The crust surprised me-crisp and light without any strange taste or texture. Overall, I found it hard to finish due to the overpowering sweetness. The shop itself wasn't crowded and service was good. It was pretty clean though most of the tables hadn't been wiped down. General impression: good, but not great. $20 for a juice and flatbread sets the bar a bit too high for me. read more

Experience Grain and Berry for the first time... It was very nice. The manager was pleasant. As it was a soft open, I understand why employee had to ask or turn around and look at the menu for reassurance on specific bowls and it's contents. I liked that there was plenty of options for toppings and bases. The bases come with Kale, Spirlina, Pitaya, and Açaí. I got the Spurlina, banana forward. I don't like actual bananas but as a base it always seems to be my favorite at açaí spots! I tried my friend's Kale bowl (Don't Kale My Vibe), definitely not better than the blue base. The Kale base is very subtle and not too sweet. The consistency of the base was perfect, not icey yet not soupy. I was just a little let down that my bowl came with peanut butter and I felt skimped in that area. Glad this place is in the area. I can definitely see myself stopping by for a smoothie or a bowl and getting some work done on my laptop. I could see parking possibly being an issue as the area continues to rapidly grow. read more

Not the greatest, but not horrible either. Many of my friends went to Grain and Berry and there was such a hype created that I decided I needed to try. I had a pretty high expectation when I went in and they met most of them -- it's a clean establishment, attentive service and fresh produce. Only problem was when I went to go pick up my açai bowls... they looked rushed and not as presentable. The taste and freshness was there, but for people such as myself that eat with their eyes first, it's a big let down. The manager was accommodating about the whole ordeal and he made the açai bowl again, looking more presentable and tastier. There's a wall in the back that you can take pictures for all your socials and the whole place is very nice and serene. I would recommend going around the afternoon. I was craving a smoothie bowl on a really hot Florida day, when I realized I was close to Grain and Berry it was a done deal! The place seemed a little busy but the wait wasn't long at all, the man at the register quickly took my order and I sat down to wait as my order was To go. I noticed there was a lot of staff (probably why the wait wasn't as long), a clean environment, and lots of seating. I ordered the berry blue bowl and a caprese avocado toast for a total of about $18. The bowl was delicious, not overly sweet and tasted natural. The toast was also good but got quite soggy by the time I got home, probably best to eat it right away. I do think the avocado toast is a bit overpriced as you only get one slice, I will probably pass on that for next time. Overall, I think this is a great smoothie spot, they also offer juices, health shots, parfaits, along with the smoothies and smoothie bowls. I do think that the staff could be a little more friendly, for example, greeting customers when they walk in and a more welcoming person at the register. read more

I visited at about 10am on a Thursday and walked right up to the counter to order-then it quickly filled up while I was waiting for my purple rain smoothie ($6.49) and wheatgrass shot. ($4.49). The smoothie is excellent-good texture-not too sweet-you just feel like you're doing something good for yourself. The shot was-well, Kermit green and smelled like my lawn-but it's served with an apple slice in a cute, mini mason jar... and, it's supposed to be anti-aging, so... The place is bright, clean, brand new and with a huge and photographic menu, it's Instagram-bait for sure. They have a full range of coffee, plus juices, smoothies, avocado toast, parfaits, yogurt banana splits and an incredible array of bowls-with five different bases to choose from: kale, yogurt, pitaya, açaí or spirulina (the one that's swimming pool blue!) I went to this restaurant to purchase a gift card for a family member home is a HealthNet. I thought it would be a great idea for Father's Day, but it was not a very welcoming environment upon entering, and several of the staff walked by me trying very hard to appear busy apparently so they wouldn't have to greet me. I found it to be rather rude and obnoxious. Finally a guy came to the counter as I was getting ready to walk away and asked to help me he didn't seem very knowledgeable and did not know how to load the payment to the gift card so some other female came over to help him and she is just as unpleasant as the rest of them. But at least she knew how to add the payment to the gift card. Anyway, I hope that the person that I'm giving the card to has a better experience. This was my first Grain & Berry experience, and I was totally impressed. It's was difficult to see it right away when driving south down SR 301. I was expecting it to be in the shopping center near LongHorn Steakhouse & Texas Roadhouse, but it was actually across the street next to the Victory Car Wash. I arrived around 10 am and there was no line. In fact, there was only one other family waiting for an order. I was greeted right away. They gave me plenty of time to look over the menu, and answered my questions about the spirulina. I'd never had it before so I was curious. They have so many different bases and combinations. They also have kale, açaí, and pitaya. It took me a while to decide. I loved that the menu posted on the wall was very clear and concise with beautiful pictures of each bowl. I got the Tropical Blue which was topped with granola, honey, almond slices, coconut, and fresh mango & pineapple. I have to say it was amazing, and the best bowl of its kind in the area. They do give you a lot of granola, but you can ask for half granola which is probably what I will do next time. Other than that, it was awesome in taste and portion size. I think it was about $11.50 with tax included but I feel like I really got my moneys worth. I couldn't eat anything else after that. It was totally filling. A very generous portion compared to some of their other competitors who charge the same price. I will return to try other menu items. They had smoothies, yogurt bowls, juices, parfaits, banana splits, and different combinations of avocado toast. I'm pretty sure I saw a coffee menu but I will confirm that the next I go. Yes, 5 stars for the first visit because of service, taste, portion, and quality. The fresh mango and pineapple really won me over, as well as the spirulina base. It was a tropical sunrise in a cup! A great healthy breakfast. The interior was super clean. They all wore masks and gloves. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there is curbside pickup. First, it's expensive. But it's a healthy treat, I love. I have only ever gotten the Healthy Elvis because it's so good! I add extra protein, because I do high protein diet. My daughter got the Design a Bowl with Açaí, granola, strawberry, pineapple, banana, coconut and honey. It's a big portion, so that's a bonus. The expense is the only reason it gets one less star. I like kiwi so I didn't mind.The bowl was a little pricey-$11.50, but I will say they seemed to have quality ingredients. I went to this location for the first time during the grand opening. The lines were wrapped around to the back of the building. They were more folks than I expected who wanted to be a part of their Grand opening giveaway promotion. This promotion involved a free bowl per week for a whole year for the first person in line and for the next 99 people to receive one free bowl her month for a whole year. We were told that the first person who showed up waited there since 3 AM that morning and have never had an açai bowl before. By default, that meant me and the other 98 people were part of the once a month giveaway promotion. After 9 AM that day, we all eventually made it in. The set up is relatively efficient and the interior design is very pretty. You simply wait in line to order your bowl, food, and/or drink and wait to pick up at the other end. There's inside dining. For the size of the space, parking situation is small, but OK during a normal day. For me, the prices are a bit high compared to something I can make at home myself at larger quantities. It kinda makes you smile when you walk in seeing all the colors. After spanning the menu I decided to try the "Grain & Berry" açaí bowl, which I'm told is their most popular. It's packed with fruit. Strawberries, bananas, blueberries granola, Nutella & PB all nestled perfectly on a cold creamy bed of açaí. It did not disappoint, but my goodness ITS HUGE! There is no way I would finish a bowl by myself. I was able to get through half by myself before I admitted defeat and passed the rest to hubby. I wish they had a smaller bowl option. Price wise, it's expensive. My bowl was $11 and some change with tax. Just get over the cost because healthy or semi healthy food is always more expensive. This definitely isn't a place I could afford to eat at several times a week but it's absolutely worth the splurge from time to time. read more
