Upon opening my handy Yelp app I saw that Body Fuel was nearby and it would only take me about 5min to get there- AWESOME! Now this was not my first time at this location, but this is my first review. Body Fuel strategically sits in a plaza right next to "Crunch" fitness on the corner of Bloomingdale and Lithia Pinecrest. It's easy to find and the business logo is pretty easy to spot. Parking isn't difficult to find, but just know there are a lot of parked cars there starting with the "Crunch" customers; so it gets really packed! Overall I really-really like this smoothie shop and the products that they offer; and as I've said before this is not my first time here but their Açaí bowls are so delicious and filling that I can't stop coming back! The price point for the large bowl that I ordered rounds up to about 10 bucks (still worth the money). Their refrigerators are usually stocked with a variety of prepared meal bowls for anyone who needs to make a quick stop for some food as well. I've been on a matcha green tea kick lately and it sounded great. You can add an ingredient to this smoothie. I originally chose mango and wasn't too thrilled with the mixture. It was also too sweet. So, I went back a week later and had it blended with bananas and made it skinny. You can make any of their smoothies skinny (by removing the turbinado) just by asking them to do it. It cuts down on the sugar and fat content. It was perfect. The natural sweetness of the banana made this matcha green tea smoothie perfect for me. I was also very happy with the service. They are quick and efficient. Then again, I was the only one in there so I didn't have to wait in line. I can say that I've never had a bad experience at this location. The prices are comparable to other smoothie bars nearby. Smoothie King seems to have a better selection of blends, but the quality and freshness of their ingredients is debatable.
