The moment I walked in, I felt like family. My Portuguese is in a beginner conversational, and the owner greeted me with a hearty, "HOLA". We proceeded to keep falando Portuguese We gave me a tour of the açaí spread, which I had and it tastes so homemade. The stuff you get at other places seems to melt with this water base. Not this one. This was creamy and a much thicker consistency. He has a 0 sugar and traditional option. All the toppings were freshly cut and tons of toppings to pick from. I can say I studied the menu before I went and hands down do not regret getting the picanha sandwich. I could've eaten 2 QUE DELÍCIA! The place is really nice and I could see myself having a nice meal with friends or even studying. The parking space in this plaza I can see being limited during peak hours, but there are like 40 spots between the 2 plazas, so should be ok. I will be back to try the tapioca com frango e pão de queijo Eu amei!

I love the concept of a self-serving açaí bar where you can create your own bowl without someone else doing it for you. It felt empowering to be independent in that kind of way. They weigh the cup to figure out the pricing. I loved the selection of toppings and the fruit selection. I'm excited about this place and I hope it does well. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. 10/10 highly recommend

walked in and was warmly welcomed, he asked if it was my first time here and explained the DIY acai bowls, had me sample a bunch of different options/toppings, pointed out his favorites on the menu and was very kind and friendly. i've been to plenty of acai places but love how here i can put exact what i want in it. they had all the ingredients i wanted plus some i had never tried until here. meals/food looked good too but was not what i was in the mood for then. cute location with indoor and outdoor seating. would definitely visit again, glad i stopped by.

Nestled between a Brazilian grocery store and a very intriguing Vietnamese restaurant? Lies is hidden gem. Wow! Took me back to Rio de Janeiro in 2007! The cook was there by herself and didn't speak much English, but we made it work with my bad Portuguese. My friend and I shared açaí shake, orange juice and Pao de queijo (6 cheeese filled puffs). Everything was spectacular and fresh! I highly recommend this place. The bill was also very reasonable! I'll be back.

Wonderful place! Authentic and nutritious açaí and menu. Customizable and delicious. The owner was so friendly and walked us through the whole menu. Best açaí bowl I've had!!!! Chill place with good vibes.

Pajo de Queijo, is delicious. Great customer service and presentation of the food.

Loved the cheese balls and the croissant chicken sandwich. Great customer service! A definite must when visiting Tampa.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stopped in for lunch and let me just tell you, YOU NEED TO TRY!! The atmosphere was very friendly and the style/decorations were done beautifully! They had board games to play which was a fun addition to our experience. The food was delicious and they put a lot of thought into the presentation of each dish. This place was so good, that we went twice in the same week (this means something since we live 30 minutes away)! They import their açaí from Brazil, which gives it its authentic taste. Will be bringing our friends and family back to try!

Unbelievably delicious! Was immediately greeted by the happy staff. I feel like I never find staff like that! Cutest spot in town.

I did go during lunch time so the menu might've been limited but nevertheless still great. The restaurant was busy at its lunch hours but we're still accommodating. It was a dark moody vibe there. The server comes and ask if it's your first time dinning and also asks you how you want your meat cooked. The servers then come around with different types of meat to choose from. Our server was really nice and made sure our group was take care of. The salad bar was amazing and full of different choices. I really liked the churrasco cooked in medium. Desserts is served À la carte if you're up to it. Now were the steaks great? I think they're great for the price point. I recently just started having a thing for steak and I would say that it's worth it coming here if you are a meat lover.

Yes, yes you will. My younger son is 4. It's only $5 for kids between the age of 3 and 5, which is an insanely good deal. My older son is 7 so his cost is half the price of the adult. With the adult price being $60 that's not worth it to us (I'm sure I'd feel differently if he was a big eater.) It used to be the just salad bar price wasn't that much less expensive than the full price. Now the price is like half. So since I love mainly the salad bar, I stuck with that. This means for lunch on a Sunday for me (salad bar), my husband (full price), my son ($5) and two non alcoholic drinks ($9), plus tax and tip it came out to close to $150. I'm not usually one to shy away from expensive meals but this was a bit pricey to me. Since my younger son loves meat and thoroughly enjoyed the experience I'll do it, but this is a treat, not an every day thing. The salad bar was spectacular as always. I love the scalloped potatoes and lobster bisque. I also eat my fill of smoked salmon. My husband and son enjoyed the meat. Parking is always a pain on the Texas de Brazil side, so I parked on the Kona grill side and walked. Service is always great here. They come by to make sure you got all the meat you wanted. I would recommend this place for a special occasion. It is good, but expensive.

When I got there, my party was already seated and I had to wait for them to bring another table over. By that time, the meat service had already started, so I missed some of the rotation. I checked out the food bar, the black beans looked good but had pork sausage in them, so I couldn't eat that. When the meats came around, most were medium rare or rare, which is too pink for me. I asked for a different temp and one of the guys kinda caught an attitude when I said the piece he gave me had too much fat. It got awkward real quick as he told me there is no fat on the meat. Also asked for A1 and it took a while. Overall, it wasn't terrible. I had a good time because I was with family, but food-wise it didn't wow me. If I'm doing Brazilian steakhouse, I'd rather drive to Texas de Brazil. If you're in Sarasota and don't feel like driving, Rodizio Grill is cool... just not my first pick.

My brother who lives there swore by this spot, and the second I walked into Mi Carreta, I knew he wasn't exaggerating. The Bandeja Paisa? Absolute perfection. We're talking perfectly grilled steak, a runny fried egg, sweet plantains, creamy red beans, fluffy white rice, fresh avocado, crispy chicharrón, and grilled chorizo--all on one glorious platter. I attacked it so fast I didn't even snap a photo, but trust me, that plate is burned into my memory forever. As if the food wasn't enough, the TV above the counter was showing the World Cup group draw live. We found out who Colombia is facing right there over lunch--talk about perfect timing! The whole place was buzzing. For the grand finale, we grabbed a few Colombian donuts (buñuelos and pandebonos) to go. Sweet, cheesy, impossible to eat just one. If you're anywhere on Florida's west coast and craving authentic Colombian food, do yourself a favor and head straight to Mi Carreta in St. Pete. You can thank me (and my brother) later!
