Rooted is exactly the business Lakeland needed!! Well, at least I think so, haah. It's about time another nutrition shop came to South Lakeland- one that's super high quality and will succeed greatly because the owners know what they are doing. That's Rooted! If you aren't familiar, Rooted is a nutrition shop. What this means is they sell wonderfully delicious protein shakes and fruity teas that are made with Herbalife supplement products. Nutrition shops are one of my favorite places ever. There are a few in Lakeland, but most are on the North side, in Bartow, and what few were in South Lakeland mainly moved or closed down. So Rooted truly came in clutch!! The shakes sold here are incredible. They taste like milkshakes with about half the calories and 3x the nutritional value! It seems impossible, but trust me that it's not. The teas are probably my favorite- they are super zingy and there are tons of flavor combos. My first time I got a Watermelon Orange Pineapple tea and I wish I could've gotten 3 of them. Along with these, Rooted goes above and beyond by offering protein waffles, mini protein donuts, and even protein açaí bowls! They are all about the health, but making it fun and actually tasty! I had a waffle and you wouldn't even know the difference between theirs and one from IHop, and yet the ingredients are certainly on opposite ends of the health scale. The shop itself is a dream. Whoever created the interior design seriously nailed it. From recycled frames to a succulent wall and graffiti with industrial light fixtures, this is a place you WANT to sit and hang out in. And the two women working were also the sweetest ever. They have a sister business in Miami and wanted to bring the magic to Lakeland. I am SO glad they did!! One heads up to be aware of is that this is not a cheap stop. Most nutrition places are not cheap, because the supplements used are also not. But the way I look at it, if you're willing to spend $6-7 on a high calorie high sugar drink from Starbucks, then isn't it worth it to get a healthier drink that tastes just as good? Pick your poison (or antidote, really). Rooted will be a place I am not rooted to, and rooting for!! read more

We are from s Florida and wanted some acai bows which are kinda hard to find around here. We got 2 acai bowls and they were very good. Staff was friendly gave some suggestions. Would go again. They also had good looking shakes and mini donuts and stuff. The shakes didn't have milk so good alternative options. read more

I just learned about rooted through Instagram and had to make a quick trip over there! This place is adorable!!! Very Instagram worthy ambiance and the staff are super nice. They have a mainly protein based menu with protein shakes, coffees , protein donuts, and even some waffles. The only thing on the menu that doesn't have protein are the refreshers. I had the chewy protein shake and my husband had the strawberry cheesecake and we also got a dozen of the mini donuts. They have a variety of different kinds like fruity pebbles , Nutella, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and dulce de leche. Their holiday menu items are a definite must try! I heard good things about the Rudolph. I definitely want to go back and try a refresher and a birthday cake waffle! read more

Good location. Very hospitable. A ton of healthy and delicious options for different times of the day. I like the Friends trivia card game they have as well as other board games in the event you choose to dine in. Order of three açaí bowls were ready fairly quickly. Highly recommend! just went in for six mini donuts(the size of a half dollar) that cost $12. I could go to Dunkin' Donuts and get a full dozen large donuts for less than that. I try to support small business but when you bite into their donuts and it taste like cardboard, it makes you angry that you spent $12. read more
