    40 min before closing

Came in today Thursday the 27th at 8:22pm ( closing time 9pm) knowing I just needed a drink and yogurt. As someone who works in customer service I definitely understand wanting to be off right away but to have almost all the chairs up so no one can come sit well over 30 min before closing. And the floors already mopped for the night without the caution stand until multiple people passed by.

THANK YOU Steve for the response with all that is going on in the world! I received a very well written and genuine response from management. There was no issue with the food, no issue with the amazing staff but with the process of getting the correct order fixed. I believe they understand and contract drivers just need better communication. If they had to return and fix this or get paid nothing they may take it more serious to get the order right. In hindsight I feel petty blowing up around this, but my career is based on problem resolution and continuous improvement, so it mattered. Thank you again and as always I appreciate you and the amazing food your staff crafts !

Tropical Smoothie is a nice, clean place offering a variety of bowls, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, quesadillas, salads, and breakfast items. They also have options for kids, which is awesome! The service is fast, and the customer service is great. I love the colors and lights--they make the place look tropical and fresh!

This is my absolute favorite Tropical Smoothie location! The staff was so very kind and went out of their way to ensure we were happy with our entire order. Our smoothies tasted fresh and was made to order. I'll definitely return soon to try their variety of açaí bowls and the other menu options. Cheers to a healthy and delicious smoothie!

This time, I went in planning to order The Elevated Cobb, but after walking past all the amazing‑smelling pizza, we changed course and got a medium Mighty Meaty pizza which has mellow red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, honey ham, applewood-smoked bacon, mozzarella.. It was absolutely delicious and totally worth the switch. I can't recommend this place enough--if you're thinking about coming here, do it. You won't be disappointed.

As a lifelong Tampa native who's eaten my weight (which is a lot) in Cuban sandwiches from La Segunda and PubSubs from Publix, I never thought I'd say this... but Cousin Vinny's just stole the crown as the best sandwich spot in the entire Tampa Bay area. (Sorry, Publix -- you've been dethroned.) What brought me in? Chef Carson, the incredible head chef who used to cook for me for years at one of my longtime favorites, Rooster & the Till. When I heard he'd joined this venture, I knew I had to stop by and see him in action. The moment I walked in, it felt like catching up with family. I told him to pick my first sandwich for me, and he delivered with the Capo Del Shmeet -- a masterpiece I will be dreaming about for weeks. Let's talk about this sandwich. It starts with bread made fresh by hand every single morning -- perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and airy inside. Then comes the star: hand-breaded chicken cutlets cooked to absolute perfection, crispy and juicy in every bite. The cherry pepper mayo brings a subtle sweet taste that plays beautifully with the bright Italian vinaigrette. Fresh arugula, provolone, onion, roasted red peppers, and capicola round it out into what is hands-down the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Every layer harmonized perfectly -- no weak spots, just pure sandwich perfection. But the generosity didn't stop there. Chef Carson treated me to his cannoli cream pudding, which is nothing short of divine. He mentioned that Guy Fieri stopped by, tried it during filming for an upcoming Food Network episode of Triple D (airing July 10, 2026), and responded by turning to Carson and giving him a big hug. I echo that sentiment 100% -- one spoonful and you'll want to hug the chef too. It's rich, creamy, nostalgic, and elevated all at once. To top it all off, I was sent home with one of their salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies. When it comes fresh out of the oven, it is topped with that perfect sprinkle of sea salt on top -- it created the most gorgeous sweet-savory balance with the melty chocolate chips and brown sugar. It's not a small cookie, but I confess: I took one bite at a red light and couldn't stop until it was gone. Cousin Vinny's isn't just another sandwich shop -- it's a love letter to Italian-American flavors done right, with heart, quality, and serious skill in the kitchen. If you're in Tampa (or willing to drive), do yourself a favor and go. Tell Chef Carson, Big Mike sent you -- and prepare to have your sandwich standards permanently raised. Go. Now. You're welcome. (And yes, I'll be back. Frequently.)

The restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine. Watching the staff work together so seamlessly in a small space was impressive. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing, and the service was outstanding. To top it off, Vinny surprised us with a complimentary cannoli and a meatball sandwich that had been made by mistake. That kind of generosity says a lot about how they treat their customers. The food was phenomenal! The schiacciata bread is hands-down some of the best we've ever had, and the desserts were just as amazing. We loved it so much that we went online later and ordered the Tony Piccante for dinner--and WOW, it was just as delicious! We can't stop talking about this place. We'll definitely be back again and again. You truly have a gold mine!

Absolutely loved it The guy at the front was on point the whole time. Even coming in right after the lunch rush, he made sure everything stayed clean and organized while still taking care of customers. That kind of attention to detail does not go unnoticed They were out of the sweet teas (I was hurt a little bit ), but overall the experience was still really good. Now let's get into the food because you already know that's what we're here for The chicken empanadas? Delicious. No complaints. The Cuban sandwich? It was good... but I'm gonna keep it real like I always do. The meat was flavorful, but it could've been more evenly distributed, and it didn't have that crispy bread texture I look for. Overall, it just didn't hit that top-tier level for me. We were there to see what kind of plants were for purchase, not getting a great sandwich. While walking the rows of booths we were getting hungry, I did see somewhere they were selling Philly cheese steaks, I dismissed it like really a Philly from a food truck and calling it a Philly also. But as I was walking the isles I caught a view of one of those cheese steaks and wow...I could see it was prepared with a proper Amoroso roll too. Okay, I got to check this joint out and glad we did. We ordered a large to split with fries. Perhaps one of the best in the area. Roll was fresh and steak done just right with cheese and onions. I will tell you this, if your ever at an event and see this truck, make it a point to stop and try it out. If you never had a cheese steak from Philly, this will be as close as your gonna get. Peace.
