I absolutely love the blackened garlic ramen at the Providence location so of course I decided let's try it here. Definitely not the same. First off barely any of the actual garlic that they put in the ramen. Extremely unsatisfying. The bamboo shoots and whatever the black things are called tasted not fresh at all. The noodles were ok. Not once the whole time did the waitress bother to refill my simple iced water. Left feeling like this is probably my last time coming here. It's disappointing because I WANTED to love this place but I don't want to misled myself or others curious about this place. If I had to say one thing positive, the bean sprouts were decent.

If you want to hangout, you'll want to take those drinks over to some of the gathering spaces in other areas of Midtown. But all in all, a place I would come back to :)

The staff at the front were super friendly, which made the experience even better. I went with my mom, and since it was a really hot day, she asked for a recommendation for something refreshing. She ended up getting the passion fruit green tea and absolutely loved it! She mentioned how perfectly balanced it was not too sweet, just right. I ordered the lychee green tea, and it was also really good! I personally enjoy sweeter teas, and this one hit the spot for me. Just a heads-up it might be a bit too sweet for some, but if you're into sweet teas, I definitely recommend giving the lychee green tea a try. We also couldn't resist trying the matcha crème brûlée croffle. I've never had anything like it before, and wow it was so good, I'm already planning to go back for another one. Overall, I had a great experience here. Next time, I'd love to try one of their milk-based drinks, but if you're looking for something light and refreshing, their teas are a great choice. I'll probably order one of their top 5 drinks next time. I understand the prices have to be inflated cause of the location but I'm not sure if I can get myself to spend $10 on this drink again even though it tasted great. Ambiance is clean and modern but wished it was more upbeat. Workers were friendly but wished they were more enthusiastic.

There's a large display case at the counter for mochi donuts. Although, they didn't have any made when I was there for lunch (maybe tomorrow). The counter service was great! I was given recommendations on drinks. I ended up ordering the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I'd never had it made with almond milk before, and I actually thought it was pretty good. I'd get it again. They no longer have Beef Stew on the menu. That's totally understandable since people don't really order it much in this area. I don't know why, but this is not the first restaurant to remove it for this very same reason. So, I decided to try their Grilled Pork Banh Mi instead of the pho. They asked if I wanted it toasted, and I said yes. It didn't take long to make. It was brought to my table in a timely manner. I just wish that I could say it was great. Let's just say that it could have been better. It was actually quite dry. I think you can see that in my picture. The pork was not tender, and the carrots and daikon had no pickled flavor. I tried to eat as much as I could, but it just wasn't desirable. It was missing something (maybe some TLC). I'm sorry to say that I've had much better ones from other restaurants in the area. I hope they can improve it somehow with better ingredients. It has potential. Hopefully they are open to feedback so that they can adapt and improve as they grow. I may go back to try the pho & mochi donuts when I'm in that area. I just won't be rushing to go back any time soon.
