Will return: Chicken Katsu is tender. Good service, food and decor. Clean bathroom with a lovely sink. Every time I dine at an omakase restaurant, I think of Wags (of Billions). But this one is name only, with a full menu to order from. We've - Spicy edamame: 避风塘调味 garlic, salt and all - love it - Shrimp Shumai: purchased, which is rather common. - Chicken Katsu: tender - Sashimi sushi combo: yellow tail is very good The sounds of wok is constant: probably a lot of take outs (?) The lady hostess speaks Cantonese and our serve speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin, and his English is better than my Chinglish. On 避风塘调味 typhoon shelter seasoning, that usually has fried onion, garlic and hot pepper, is originated from Hong Kong. Typhoon frequents HK, as often as hurricane does Florida. Many shelters around HK provide safety to boats during the disasters. As time goes by, these shelters became the boat people's communities, where they live, work, and also cook on their boat for people who bring their own seafood (purchased elsewhere nearby). One shelter I used to go was Quarry Bay (鲗鱼涌). The boat owner/cook would ask how would you like your seafood be cooked. I asked for this and steam 清蒸 equally. It's a little baffling to me that HK even invented typhoon shelter seasoning (good with beers ...), given the fact that they love to eat live seafoods, which do not need heavy seasoning. Do enlighten me, TIA. (A little too much blah blah - more of a note to myself.)

Fresh Sushi, Family Casual Style! Omakase was very enjoyable and we had a pleasurable meal in taste and service! Lots of dishes shared around the table by our family, and all were eaten up. Stars include the Kani Salad, Spring Rolls and the Coral Reef Roll! The Coral Reef Roll was a refreshing alternative in being cucumber bound. All other rolls had fresh fish and rice, as no rolls were too sticky or too stuck together. One critique would be the sauce the mango was in for the Mango Tango roll, a little too sweet and syrupy. A great sushi option in Riverview!!

Intimate environment, friendly and professional service, delightful food! I must say i was first impressed by the sign. Entering the restaurant, i was a little confused by the format but the service kindly took me to my seat! Our server for the rest of the night was Jonathon. He was well informed, professional, and did a great job! THE FOOD: the "orgasm roll" as titled was very tasty and a good combination of fish. It melted in your mouth, stayed together, great combination. The udon noodles were tasty and fresh! Really enjoyed the portions and presentation. Likely my favorite out of the three. The general tso's chicken was very saucy but the breading lacked enough season/flavor to me. I would support this business again since the food is great and the employees/owners were very nice. Im happy to see love in the business!

My son had previously visited this establishment and highly recommended it. This venue serves Chinese, Japanese, and sushi dishes. Since it's conveniently located not too far from our home, we decided to visit on a weekday. We arrived on a Tuesday evening around 8:30 PM, and the place was not crowded. There was ample parking available outside the restaurant. This eatery is situated at the inner corner of the building. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We ordered several dishes, including Korean Bulgogi Beef, Sesame Chicken, General TSO's Chicken, and chicken fried rice. The dinner plates come with a choice of garden salad or soup, along with steamed white rice. The portions were generous, and the flavors were delightful. The prices are moderately priced. I tried the sesame chicken, which had a subtle orange flavor that I found enjoyable. The chicken fried rice was quite good. The beef bulgogi was decent, though not as impressive as the one we usually get at SaRi. My son ordered the General TSO chicken, which he described as very good and not spicy. One thing I noticed, which I hope they will address soon, is that the prices on the "to go" menu do not match those on the "restaurant menu," with some prices altered by hand, but this discrepancy only affected two items. Overall, I can certainly envision myself returning to this restaurant.

I was craving Kbbq Short ribs and this place definitely hit the spot. It's one of the places that is open on sundays. And don't let the emptiness fool you. You will leave satisfied. You will definitely be full after eating here. My ribs came with rice and miso soup. Everyone was super nice and the food was quality! They also cut their sashimi really thick which is nice! Definitely coming back to try some of the rolls such as Dream and Orgasm!

Huge fan, finally dined in here and I was impressed even more. The place is beautifully decorated, clean & well taken care of. The staff is kind & attentive. This places has my favorite sushi roll, the "orgasm roll". It's definitely one of the best rolls I've tasted in the area so far! I also enjoyed the edamame & another menu item inside a jalapeño ( can't remember the name). Everything I had was good. Very intimate place , with good food. Definitely check them out.

Food is a hit or miss here depending on what you order. If you get sushi, stick to the maki (the maki are delicious, a spicy tuna roll came with my set) and don't get nigiri style. My boyfriend got ramen, and it was alright. I got onion soup with my entrée and would probably get miso next time. Service is excellent. The interior is casual and warmly lit, with plenty of booths.

The restaurant is very small in relation to the seating, especially in regard to the hibachi section. There are (to my recollection) different seating tables in the hibachi room. The dining "tables" are set for 4 patrons on each of the three sides of the "table" and they are actually best sized for 3 people on each side. I was in a party of 4 and the party seated on the side to our left was a party of three and even at that we were crowded in together. It was nearly impossible to move and the room was incredibly noisy. Service - Excellent! Our server was very attentive and our hibachi chef was one of the best that I have ever seen. He was extremely friendly, entertaining and a talented chef. Food - Excellent. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo which came with onion soup, salad, noodles (something that I had never been served in previous hibachi restaurants), fried rice, and vegetables. The salad was very good and the soup was just OK (pretty much all broth). The shrimp and chicken were both delicious and tender. The fried rice and noodles, both, were as good as any I have had at previous hibachi restaurants. Overall Value - Very Good! The prices are reasonable and the portions large. The quality of the food was great. If not for the crowd dining area, this would have been a 5 Star dining experience.

The menu has appetizers, sushi rolls, rice bowls, and ramen. There were lunch specials which are what we ordered. The chicken hibachi bowl is only $12 which I thought was a very fair price for the amount of food. The quality of the food is excellent. The punk rock roll was so good and it was different (with chopped strawberry, avocado, jalapeño, cucumber salad). I decided to drop in for lunch after shopping at Bealls. I immediately noticed that the booth seating across from the sushi bar had torn and tattered cushions. This is the beautiful bright green cushioned seating that I remember loving after the renovation. It was in desperate need of repair. What made it worse was that I was sat in one of these booths. I picked the side that was least torn. Yes, I could have asked to be seated elsewhere. I just didn't know if all the booth seating was the same way, so I went with it. The service was good. The passion fruit tea and the clear chicken broth soup were all good. It was the sushi rolls that left a lot to be desired. It wasn't the same quality that I remember. The rolls were small and falling apart. I'm sorry to say that nothing about this experience was happy. I just hope that the BYO poké bowls haven't changed. I had the chance to share a great meal at their Lithia location with Jenn and Mags from the @Riverview foodies and @Fishhawk foodies. The menu has plenty of options ranging from more traditional sushi and sashimi to less traditional options like fried sushi rolls and crab stuffed jalapeño poppers! It's a great place for sushi lovers to be able to dine with their 'I don't like raw seafood' friends, with lots of choices for both. I love raw fish but for those who don't, I highly recommend the spicy crawfish roll. The cajun seasoned crawfish inside is something I wouldn't have thought of as a sushi ingredient but it's GOOD! My favorite part - they'll gladly customize anything on the menu for you, including modifications to make your meal safely gluten free. (They even have gluten free soy sauce - just ask!). The portions are big and the dessert options will hit the spot for even the sweetest sweet tooth. Our server Alexis was patient and attentive, and the sushi chef, Tyler, was happy to answer all of our questions. The vibe inside is fun and laid-back. There's obviously a Rock n Roll theme with guitars on the walls and TVs showing music videos. They keep the music loud enough to be enjoyable but not loud enough to hinder conversation. Even the bathrooms fit the vibe (and were clean!) - think: glitter snow leopard wallpaper and neon signs. Under new ownership and the management of the lovely Melany, the Lithia location not only offers an enjoyable dining experience but also has a patio with games and kids activities and a full calendar of events like themed evenings (hello, 80's night!) and paint and sip or yoga on the patio. If you're looking for a place to have a working lunch, this one fits the bill for that too - even having multiple USB charging ports and outlets at each booth.
