Three years ago, I ate at this restaurant when it was called Koizi Endless Hibachi & Sushi Eatery. My waitress wasn't around when I was ready to leave. The manager tried deducting a larger chunk of my change for a tip. Until now, I haven't gone back there. Then I noticed this place changed its name. Figuring it might be under new management, I decided to give "Fountain" another try since their all-you-can-eat lunch price is under $20 (a similar restaurant I used to go to more regularly went above that amount). For the most part, I was pleased. My waiter was friendly and brought my food in a timely manner. The sushi selection was good although I was surprised to see the crab meat in the California and Rainbow rolls were grated. Desserts include deep fried Oreo cookies. The background music was mostly a mixture of Top 40 hits from 10-20 years ago. I would've preferred hearing something else. Nevertheless, I'm open to eating here again. read more

I enjoy my time here with variety of choices. This includes grilled skew section. The restaurant location use to be an ayce place for sushi. Now they have new management and new restaurants with half menu changes to better. I have miso soup, gyoza and spring roll to start. Those are the teaser before waiting for the real food. We ask for the grilled flank steak. This is the best dish without accompanying rice or vegetables. We also have grilled squid. I think this dish is average. The grilled shrimp skew is definitely a dish to get. The spicy tuna just average. Need a bit more sesame oil to make it nicer. The volcano roll also good to have to please the eye. The fountain roll name their restaurant is the one to get. The Hawaiian roll is good with mango and sweet. The eel roll is one of my favorite. Before you go, try their sashimi. You cannot go home. Looks like this place is in the old Koizi location. Still the same concept though. Endless hibachi and sushi. The Hibachi itself isn't all too great in my own personal opinion. The fried rice seemed flavorless and bland. Noodles overcooked and mushy. But the sushi was very good. I'd definitely say if coming here, maybe gear towards the sushi. I looked at some of the negative reviews and can't understand why. It is a little expensive. My son takes me there and pays so I enjoy. The food and service is great. When I have the Hibachi steak, only steak because you can have it without the veggies. It is sways tender and good. I love the sushi. Always fresh and tasty. So we went thinking it was still Koizi's and sadly it's not. It looks exactly like Koizi but the food is NOT the same. Our waitress was great very attentive. The food however was okay. I'm ordered the Dancing crab roll, which was a favorite. It did not taste the same. The hibachi chicken and rice wasn't the same. They definitely gave you larger portions of rice and chicken, the fried rice was pretty good. The chicken was okay. But it was a lot and we worried about not being able to finish it. Fountain place had more rules on how the table ordered. They prefer the whole table order the same so if 1 person gets the endless lunch the whole table should. We were there Sunday for lunch. It's all you can eat ordering from the menu and they bring dishes to your table. It's all included in one price except drinks ,the hibachi scallops and lobster which are extra charge. We ordered New York strip steak and jumbo shrimp hibachi. They were impressive -Char grilled and tender, so delicious! The other item we liked very much was the sashimi - the salmon, tuna, snapper were all good quality, generous size, so were the grill eel pieces. All the sushi rolls we had were very delicious and beautifully presented. The services were attentive. Overall the food was very good, better than I expected. The interior sitting area is kind of old- the couch wore out, the floor sticky. For the price we paid and the food we received, it was a good value. read more

Here's the thing.... The food is decent , and the place is fine - big and open, lots of tables and everything, the SERVICE?! Super inconsistent .... You either have a good experience or one of the worst you will ever have. This evening - four of us did the endless dinner option, several items never came, refills? Don't know them? How many times we saw our waitress? Twice. TWICE. When she took our orders, and when she came back, apologized and took a second order .... we had to seek her out to get our check. The kicker is , it was not overly packed or excessively busy, it was just poor service and regardless, there is no excuse for that. The table over from us , with the same waitress , asked "how much longer" on their order, and when asked what they were missing , she received "everything". My waitress, not very personable, took my order at least I thought she did but brought out something completely different. Maybe she should have confirmed. I have never been more disappointed with a business in my life! Went with my brother we were sat at about 7:30pm and our waiter was gone for over an hour. By the time she got back she took our orders and disappeared until 9:30pm and told us it was last call!!! I deeply regret not talking to the manager because I've never experienced anything this level of unprofessional in my life. The waiter explained to us it was her 6th day and how the restaurant gave her a bunch of big tables and how understaffed the restaurant was so that made me more sympathetic towards her but I was still upset that I was still charged almost 25$ for how little I ordered. The height requirement is weird(saw the handmade vague height sign Simeon else referred to here,also). We were overcharged, then treated rudely when asked for a correction. We went last night, and our server was so friendly. The sushi was delicious, and the Korean bbq items we ordered were perfectly grilled. The mango boba tea was great too. I'm giving the establishment a 3.5 but I give our waitress, Kelly, a 5/5. She was so funny! She gave awesome recommendations (the dancing crab roll, so good) and was very welcoming. The restaurant itself; good timing for the food coming out and good layout but wasn't anything fancy. The pricing of the endless is a price you can't beat. The sushi quality was average.
