So this place is small but great. It has a very nice atmosphere and they staff were really friendly. The food was served hot and quickly. The had such a variety of this to order . I will be bringing my family back.

We recently tried Sushi Ushi and were pleasantly surprised! It's a small restaurant, but we were seated within 15 minutes, which was great. The waitress was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit -- excellent service overall. We started with the calamari appetizer, which unfortunately was a miss. It was just rings and didn't taste very good, so we sent it back. To their credit, they didn't charge us for it, which we really appreciated. Next, we had the Kani salad, which was tasty but could've used a bit more crab. Now, the sushi -- WOW. Absolutely the star of the night! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Every bite was delicious. We'll definitely be back -- maybe skipping the appetizers, but 100% returning for that amazing sushi. So happy we found this place!

I've only ever tried one of their menu items and it was so good that that's all I ever order now if l am ever in their area. Service is always outstanding and their cleanliness leaves no room for complaint. With that being said please try their Tempura Bagel Roll! It is life-changing.

Our sushi go-to on Ubereats! It might be in the middle of Brandon but don't sleep on it! - Sunshine Roll: this is my absolute favorite roll!! It's so light and crispy with the perfect crunch! - Amazing tuna roll w/ avocado: very solid roll. Nothing to complain about especially for the price - Summer Roll: it's a big bite filled with so much flavor! Definitely try this one! - Purple Potato Fries: a very nice tempura batter- Try to eat these fresh or they get slightly soggy - Tempura Jalapeños: my boyfriend liked these more than regular jalapeno poppers! (I don't like jalapeno so I didn't try them) - Gyudon: the onion flavor pairs so well with the beef!! A very solid rice bowl and great leftovers! - Tonkotsu Ramen: my boyfriend really liked this and he's picky on his ramen

Delicious unique rolls. We had superb service from Keelia with great recommendations. Very small intimate setting. Fresh food and good wine. We loved the spicy garlic edamame as well as the ceviche roll which was recommended by our server. We can't want to come back.

Ceviche roll was unique, similar to sashimi with ponzu sauce. Tiger roll was excellent as well with rice paper. Casual vibe with attentive service from our server Keelia. Will definitely be back to this sushi spot again!

Always ordered their sushi but this time i felt like Ramen! I gotta say i love LOVE how they packed the Ramen for delivery! It's like a cute little Ramen kit! They stack everything in the bowl and the stalk comes in a different container. I love this method, cuz it doesn't over cook the noodles and break down the solids in transit. The only biggie? The noodles will need rime to swim in the fluids before u eat. They were fresh but stiffed. No biggie if u ask me, all their meals come with a salad n i ordered unagi on the side. A little wait is better than shoving it all at once. Best part? U get extra soup fluid left! I combined both orders n it made up half of the container! That means i can make myself another bowl! Yay!!!

Awesome lunch! We came in for lunch and had a great meal! They have several lunch specials on the back of the menu. Do not miss this! 3 sushi rolls plus soup or salad for 14. Cannot beat that deal. Inside is small but enough room for 8-10 groups. Servers were always smiling. Brought food out quickly and refilled drinks when needed. I got spicy tuna, spicy salmon and yellowtail scallion rolls. All were very good and fresh. I really liked the yellowtail. The other 2 spicy rolls were very good as well. Presentation was nice. After salad and 3 rolls was very full but very happy. Cannot beat that lunch deal.

Amazing service. Waiter is bubbly, fast, and always checking in. Food is really good, fresh, and authentic as it can get in the US at least. You can tell by the rice portions and how it's made not some bs from publix. Inside is small. Maybe 7-8 tables max. Highly highly recommend. Go during lunch for their special. It's much cheaper and reasonable

Amazinggggg local sushi spot in Valrico! Sushi Ushi has the absolute freshest fish and most creative rolls around. Plus, the waiters are always so personable. To start, we tried the Tuna Carpaccio (I forget the price but it was a special) which was sooooo good! It was basically krab and seaweed salad wrapped in tuna and avocado. The Kani Salad ($7) is also really good, but has a lot of cucumber. The Xmas Roll (another special) is also amazing - no rice or seaweed, just fish! It's so soft and buttery. The Summer Roll ($15) is so bright with the lemon and unique with the peanuts - yummm! The Sunshine Roll ($13) is really yummy too. We also had the Volcano Roll ($14) which was a little different than usual with the white fish and salmon along with the krab on top. The Paradise Roll ($16) was really good with the seared tuna on top. The Spicy Salmon Roll ($7) has a perfect amount of spice for a simple roll. Overall, the fish here is so buttery and fresh, and their creativity is top tier. If you are in the area, you should absolutely check it out!

This is a no frills sushi spot in a small strip mall in Valrico. The staff is very friendly and there is great service. I started with spring rolls. The "out of control" roll was the favorite of the night. The tempura bagel roll was the other try tonight. It's a good, casual spot.

But don't let that fool you into thinking it's under different management. It's the same wonderful team that's always been there. I was happy to see that during my most recent visit. My favorite item here is the Black Garlic Ramen. Honestly, it's my favorite ramen in the area. This time, I decided to deviate. I went with the Mega Pork mainly because of the beautiful picture on the menu. This is such a meaty and tasty dish, although I did miss the black garlic oil. I'd totally get this again with the addition of black garlic. There's something about it that really brings out the seasoned flavors of the egg. The tonkotsu broth is always amazing with or without it. It warms my bones, and especially on a cold winter day. It's also nice that Kung Fu Tea is still the prominent brand here. It's always reliable with consistently good quality ingredients. Their seasonal Pumpkin Oolong Milk Tea is always a winner. So, what has changed? The menu now includes soft or crispy sushi tacos. They have 4 different kinds. I tried the crispy shell with smoked salmon. I LOVE it!! I almost ordered another one, but it would have been too much with the ramen. I can't wait to get it again. I really love that fried maki wrap. It's so light & crunchy. It really does add a good amount of texture to the sushi along with the cucumber. So, I almost got one of the 4 different udons on the menu. It was going to be a toss up between the Kimchi Shrimp and the Black Garlic. Again, it was the beautiful pictures on the menu that lured me in. Ah, but I went with the ramen instead. I will definitely try the udon next time. I was told that the Kimchi Shrimp is very popular. If that's not enough to tempt you, then you must check out the dessert menu. I saw items such as Matcha Cheesecake and Vanilla Crepe Cake that definitely caught my eye. I'm already thinking about my next lunch order. I love the rebranding and the new menu. The service is still great as well as the ambiance in the dining area. It's a place that will always keep me coming back for more. Update: Get the Kimchi Shrimp Udon. It's that Korean inspired udon dish that almost tastes Italian. Absolutely delicious! Freedom & Nevaeh were both so very helpful. Thanks to both!
