PF Changs at Brandon Town Center is an easy choice when the whole family is hungry, as there's something for everyone. They have several vegetarian options, and while the tofu lettuce wraps are usually my go-to, this time I opted for the Mongolian Tofu and a Cold Cucumber Salad. The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a sweet sticky sauce and plenty of green onion. It came with a choice of rice, and I chose brown rice. I wanted something fresh and crisp to go with it, and the Cold Cucumber Salad hit the spot. It was very light and fresh and had just a little bit of soy sauce and sesame seeds. It was rainy out when we were finishing up, so my little niece talked me into enjoying a giant slice of the chocolate cake with her. I only made it a few bites in, but what a wonderful few bites they were. The service was friendly and easily assisted our larger group. My family and I went to celebrate my wifey's birthday and had a party of 9 people. We were seated quickly and Amber was our waitress. Our food came out sporadically and 3 of us never got our rice for our entree. When we asked about the rice Amber acted surprised and eventually brought our rice. At that point we got to-go containers because our food was cold. Amber tried to give us 10% off which was a slap in the face since they charged us 20% gratuity. Never returning to P. F. I visited this establishment on Presidents' Day at approximately 3 o'clock with my teenagers. We opted to sit outside, where the bartender provided service at this hour. The service was mediocre. The bartender did not offer or inquire about additional beverage requests, which I would have appreciated, but did not pursue. The ambiance was pleasant, and the weather was lovely. We ordered the sesame chicken, which was delicious, tender, and slightly crispy. However, the fried rice, for which we paid extra, was not thoroughly cooked and was served cool. My sons experienced the same issue with their orders. I ordered a 9oz Kim Crawford wine, which was served at room temperature . What a Disappointing Visit!!! We have been to plenty of PF Changs and this is by far our worst experience. We ordered Dry Rub Ribs and it came out burnt and like it was fried. Pointed it out to the waitress who said she was sorry and would bring us a new order and she came back with ONE(1) RIB! Sad but funny! We also had beef and broccoli and the bottom of the bowl was a pool of what seemed to be water from the broccoli. Korean style Cauliflower and that was also overcooked and burned. You can taste the burning flavor. $84 dollars later and we walked out like we had been robbed and could do nothing about it but leave frustrated. read more

There are a few things about a restaurant that I consider standards of service that should always be maintained. You're greeted at the door by any staff that's closest to you, you're given a beverage quickly, and you're given food at a value to the cost. 1 of 3 boxes were ticked here. Upon entering we stood at the front for about 2 minutes while 3 staff members talked among themselves never making eye contact with us. Once seated, we were given menus and asked what we wanted to drink. When our waiter returned she took our order, and my salad showed up and we still hadn't received the waters. The meals, for the lunch price, were on point and the food was good. Not fantastic, just good. Changs needs to do better here. read more

Just came here on a Saturday at around 8:15pm. Hostess said it's a 15 minute wait. I counted about 8 free tables and asked about it. She said we don't have enough servers. I asked on a Saturday? She got upset and said yes it's actually our busiest on Saturday! I asked why not hire more? She said if we had more money we could hire more but we don't! I left. I don't understand the management here. Why not hire an extra hand for one night shift on a Saturday and Make More Money, instead of leaving customers disappointed and leaving? I don't know about the food here. While there's a 50 minute wait at cheesecake next door I understand the wait, they are packed! I don't understand the wait here. The indoor looked nice and casual with music running in the background. I can't say anything about the food here. I might be trying again another day to see how it is when they have more people, and change the review. For now, I stand by to hire another server for the busiest day a week. read more

I had lunch at the bar this afternoon and Brianna did a great job of serving me. My chicken lettuce wraps were delicious as usual. I ordered carry out for my husband and this is when the wheels came off of the service today. The kitchen is woefully understaffed so the takeout took forever. Then I saw Brianna having to wait multiple tables that were sat all at once and still had to take care of a full bar full of customers eating and ordering drinks. If the management of this place does not get it together no one will come back again. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of Brianna. We a very small party of 3 had a reservation on a holiday night got there early before it started to get busy and placed food order right away with drinks. Took an hour to get our food legitimately an hour on the dot. Nothing crazy no appetizers just 3 entrees. One with just no vegetables and didn't come out right. As well as a hair in the other one. Being a Chang fan wife and I tried the Brandon location for an early dinner. We were seated immediatley and promptly ordered our fav, the lettuce wraps. What used to be romaine is now iceberg. Not a problem except the chunk of lettuce was dripping water. I appreciate the wash job but a few turns in the salad spinner would have been good to dry things out. We ordered entree's pepper beef and Mongolian beef both with white rice. I like my dish, the pepper beef but wife did not like her Mongolian. The beef was hit or miss, some butter tender, some chewy. A little disappointed with Chang's. Didn't have these issues with the Tampa-Westshore location, so don't know if its Chang's as a whole or just Brandon. Hopefully this was just an anomaly. One more thing, the wait staff's smocks look very dated, needs some updating...ditch the coolie look, we get it, it's Chinese. read more

If you are in the mood for a franchise restaurant while at Brandon Mall, I would consider PF Changs. It's Asian inspired cuisine, lots of options to choose from, with the family style dining intention. If you order any meat or seafood entrees, you get a choice of brown or white rice included. There are also entree sized orders of fried rice and noodles as well. The salt and pepper shrimp and the sesame chicken were cooked well, tasty and shareable for two persons. The wonton soup was meh. The service was quick. Although very busy that evening, we were seated within 5minutes, which was impressive. All in all, I had a good experience. read more

This first time I have PF Chang as lunch. My previous visits mainly dinner time. They have the lunch menu which is different than the dinner. I like the dinner choices of dish. But the lunch menu offer something I have not try before. Our visit to mall give us the chance to visit the restaurant. The space of the restaurant is nice and open. During the pandemic we were able to seat six feet apart. We order the fried we have shrimp hand made dumplings. They offer two types of finishes. You can choose the dumplings by steam or pan fried. I have not have a pan fried shrimp dumplings. We actually like the pan fried a lot. We also got the northern style pork spare rib. This is another dish we don't have before. The rib marinated by dry rub spice. It was tender and off the bone. Good technique. Overall our time there was very good. Lunch is way to go. read more

This was my lunch stop during a busy Black Friday. I decided to grab a seat in the bar and order. The bartender was very busy yet attentive. I ordered the special chicken lettuce wraps. I should have remembered the romaine lettuce recall, the ice berg was too watery for the dish and the chicken wasnt for me. He offered me a different item and I went with the Mongolian beef bowl. I really liked this dish. The meat was tender and well seasoned with a light soy glaze and the rice was perfectly sticky. He brought me some sriracha mayo to add spice. You can dislike a dish and still have a great meal. I paid for the Mongolian beef and left a 20% tip for the great service. I'll be back this is a solid 4 stars for food and service. read more

The vegetarian lettuce wrap is a great option if you don't eat meat and the flavor is still the same as the original. Not sure what's in the secret sauce but it's delicious!! This restaurant is conveniently located in the Brandon Towne Center mall. Easy to get to. Upon entering we were greeted and did have to wait a bit (it was a Saturday night and we were a large party). The decor is nice, they have very interesting statues throughout the location. Our server was great, always repeated everything back to make sure no mistakes and was very attentive. There was a little mishap (with another server not ours) and we have to say the way they handled it was amazing and beyond! The customer service is definitely great! The food was good! Both food and service was not great. Food came out very piece meal. We had to keep asking waitress for missing items, one entire entree was missed. Only had one drink because waitress just dropped off items and ran away. We received attitude when we asking the bill to be split by couple even though we told them who was with who. You can't go wrong with PF Chang's. If you like Chinese that is always consistent, this is a good stop. It's better than regular Chinese take out, but not fully authentic. I love the chicken lo mein, the flavor is fantastic. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is killer as well. If you are looking for something a bit lighter, the chicken lettuce wraps is big enough for a small meal and the flavor is exceptional! I have always been a huge PF Changs fan. I usually frequent the Tampa or Clearwater locations but today tried the Brandon location. What a difference. It started when we walked through the door with the hostess. She had no idea how to check in my reservation on open table-and of course I wanted my points so I had to ask her again on the way out. The floor was wet by our table, and I had to ask for a knife to cut my beef and broccoli with. Why don't they include knives with their roll ups-are they short on inventory? Last but certainly not least, they wanted my boss to pay the check with her phone. Listen-it's a nice feature to be able to do that, but to tell us they no longer take payment methods directly 'only a manager can' sounds absolutely ridiculous. You're telling me on a busy Friday or Saturday night, if I wanted to pay with cash, I would have to wait for you to find a manager to take it? I don't think so. First, I have to say the service with John was wonderful! He did everything he could (with a great attitude) to accommodate us through all of the errors that we found in the food and drink. Problems started when I ordered a sparkling rosé. The drink had no bubbles in it. It was flat like any other wine. It must've been opened a day or two before. John was very nice and switched it out for a different sparkling wine, which was great. We ordered the crab raccoons, which had an odd flavor to them. The oil must've been used to cook something else. We also ordered chicken lettuce wraps, which actually were very good. We then ordered Mongolian beef and honey garlic chicken. Both dishes were extremely dry. The chicken was not hot and very dry. We asked for some additional sauce to try to moisten it and the saucetasted off. The Mongolian beef was like beef jerky. It was cold and so dry. It was a shame because the flavor was good, but the beef itself was inedible. We mentioned all of this to John and he did compensate us on the bill with a discount and a free piece of cake. But that's not what we came for. We were so disappointed as we hadn't eaten there in a number of years and looking forward to what we remembered P.F. Chang's to be like. Hopefully they get better. read more

First time visiting this Brandon establishment. Very nicely appointed place and very clean. Great ambiance. We've alway loved PF Changs, but always went to the one in Tampa. We were happy to have one closer to home. We started with the lettuce wraps, one of my faves. Sorry to see they changed the lettuce from Romaine to iceberg, but it didn't stop us from digging in. They were good, not great by any means. Much better at the Tampa location. My entree was the Mongolian Beef and Hubs got the Pepper Steak. They looked beautiful when delivered to our table, but beauty is only skin deep. My Mongolian Beef was terrible. No flavor whatsoever! The beef was tough and very chewy. The green onion way too wilted. Portion was quite small. We both got white rice with our meal, and white rice is white rice, so no complaints there. What a disappointment. Our waiter never even asked us how our meal was. Never asked if we wanted dessert.'(he spent a lot of time talking to people at another table) Then came the bill. OMG, I almost choked! $73 without tip! What? Ok, I admit I didn't look at prices, we already knew what we were going to order before we got there. But come on, $24 for that small plate of food. $21 for Hubs dinner, $15 for lettuce wraps & $4 for a Diet Coke. Yup, this was a once and done visit to this place!
