Staff were super nice; however, this was the worst Chinese I have ever had. Eggrolls are stuffed with a very weird disgusting mush and exterior texture is soft and oily. The fried rice was uncooked and eggless, seemed like poorly made white rice with soy sauce. Lomein noodles flavorless. Beef was very tough and had raw flour. I ordered three different items and was sadly disappointed with each. The General Tso's Chicken was overly sweet with no kick whatsoever. The Orange Flavor Chicken tasted almost identical to the General Tso's--just a sweet sauce over fried chicken pieces. The fried rice was merely white rice with soy sauce, lacking egg, scallions, carrots, peas, garlic, or sesame seeds; it was completely bland. By no stretch is it authentic, but it's great for what it is : Americanized Chinese food. Why does it get 4 stars then? Because for Americanized Chinese food, they really are cooking to a higher standard, not being heavy handed on hiding behind high salt levels, grease, or heavy sauces to add flavor. The vegetables is much fresher and crispier. Nothing is overcooked, etc. I have never eaten in the restaurant. It's always been more of a take out solution for me. Food is generally ready within 10-20 minutes. It's a bummer they are closed on Tuesdays though, as that's the day on which I usually have a hankering for it. It's definitely worth the slighter higher price tags compared to the other Americanized Chinese places in the Brandon/Valrico area. read more

I've eaten here several times and the food was OK but the last time I ate here the rice was terrible. It was bland, it had no flavor, it didn't have any egg in it and very little soy sauce. The sweet-and-sour chicken was OK, but without the tasty rice to go with it, I was very disappointed in the meal! We were HUGE Jin Jin fans up in the panhandle, but we recently moved to Valrico two months ago due to my new job. I dreaded finding another take out place because I knew that nothing would be as good as Jin Jin. I was wrong. My first bite of the Asian Kitchen Singapore Mei Fun and I knew that I'd found something special. I was super impressed with the entire dish. I was a little disappointed the Krab Racoons were a little too thick (I like them light and crispy), BUT they still tasted very good. The staff was super nice and that always goes a long way with me. I have been here several times and ha e not been disappointed yet. Is it the best Asian restaurant in the area? No. But that being said, the food is good. Their Hibachi meals and Teriyaki are good, their fried wontons are done right, beef and broccoli was delicious and my daughter (who is pretty picky) likes their chicken LoMein. The lady at the front is very nice and my absolute favorite is that they have not messed up one of my orders! Mind you, we have ordered from here SEVERAL times and always get a few appetizers and at least 3-4 different combo dishes (each with special orders; i.e. no onions in the rice, add egg to the rice, extra spicy, etc). That is a huge plus for me because it seems like accuracy is not too common at a lot of the take out restaurants in the area. As long as they continue providing decent food with good customer service and accuracy, we will continue ordering from them. read more

Came by on A Thursday for a late dinner. The dining area seats about 15 people and is sparsely decorated. It is definitely and Chinese takeout but we ordered in just because. We try to order moo shoo shrimp but they do not have any moo shoo. We changed to General Tso chicken combo ( drink and fried rice) and hibachi chicken no rice and extra vegetables. The General tso has a little bite to it and the rice was fair. The hibachi chicken is good and the extra veggies were very good. Overall for the dining in experience is a 3 star but as a take at Chinese could be a 4 star. read more

Well traveling from California and visiting friends in Florida we came across Asian kitchen. He was close by so I thought we give it a try. We were a little surprised that they did not have any seating and only a pick up window but we were hungry so we ordered our food. We had shrimp fried rice, shrimp spring rolls, broccoli and beef and general Tso's chicken. Every single dish was delicious. The service was friendly and there was only about a 15 minute wait for our food. Definitely give this place a try when you need a quick meal to take home to your family. read more

We ordered seven or 8 entrees from here. On the whole it was an average experience. I wasn't overwhelmed by their fried rice or Kung Pow chicken but the Lo Mein and beef with broccoli was good. I've avoided coming here because I loathe driving down 60 AND Lumsden, but I couldn't ignore the positive reviews any longer, so off I went. I loved the online ordering experience. It was easy to navigate, and I hate the hassle of over the phone ordering. Why no. No I do not want to have any form of human interaction whatsoever. I arrived a bit late for my carry out order, but they weren't at all cranky about it. I figured that I would get a rude call (Lin's garden after being 5 minutes late, I'm looking at you!) but nope. Just a polite and positive experience. Everything was packed up nicely. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and Mongolian beef. Their Mongolian beef was spicy and fantastic! Not sweet like some of these other local spots. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like nugs with sweet and sour sauce. Who doesn't like nugs? Pfft. The dishes came with fried rice and an egg roll for like $8.50 or so. The fried rice was good, the egg roll was different but pretty great too. I want to say I'll return, but we are taking ourselves to Westchase next month, and I will have ZERO reason to drive on lumsden or 60 ever again! Hah! read more

This is absolutely the best place to get fast and wonderful prepared food. Out of all the Asian restaurants I have visited throughout my life, my wife and I both agree this is our favorite. They put some kind of spin on there dishes that are totally different than others. The chicken is soft, tender, juicy and comes with fried rice automatically. They don't skimp on the portions and prices are very fair. My wife and I much appreciate the effort and art that goes into their creation. Working at a German bakery almost my whole life, lets me see the unseen as far as preparation and teamwork that it takes to make a machine run flawless. This is that place.
