This will be a one and done for me. Let's start off with the service. Upon entering both the mail and the female were helping the guest ahead of me. Once the female was done, she sat down and got on her phone while the male is still preparing the end of the order for the guest in front of me. She could've taken my order and started the rolling process for the dough. The male employee politely took my order and began preparing it. The cinnamon roll aspect of the ice cream takes a while, so be prepared to wait. The good part is better as fresh. The bad part is you only get to choose from soft serve cheap ice cream to put on it. I found that over $10 was extremely high priced for what I got. There are much better ice cream shops in the city for a better value. The shop was nicely, decorated with Edison lighting and cool vibe music. They did have a nice little neon light that you could enter and take pictures, but the employees decided to pick up the best spot. So no one could sit there. We wanted something sweet after dinner, so we went to Twisted Rolls Chimney Cake. We looked at the menu and chose the Pistachio and Dubai Chocolate Chimney Cake. It took us 10-15 minutes to get our chimney cakes. They were fresh and prepared in front of us, which understandably takes time to prepare. We enjoyed the Pistachio Chimney cake; it was delicious, tasty, and had the perfect taste to satisfy our sweet cravings. We also enjoyed the Dubai Chocolate Chimney cake. They prepare you up front for the wait. My 7 year old granddaughter claims it's worth it! Although her brother did finish his ice cream before she was served. Watching the team work the whole process could have been streamlined but they were friendly and took their time to make sure that the customers were happy and got exactly what they ordered. Thanks to instagram ads I found out about this spot at 9PM -- instantly got a sweet tooth and went to check it out. When I got there, it was a good amount of people waiting on their food so there was a short wait. Everything looked so good coming out though so we didn't mind the wait. The menu is pretty extensive so there is plenty to choose from. I ordered a Pistachio Chimney Cake. I was on the fence because it comes with soft serve ice cream and typically do NOT like soft serve but it was a good texture. Everything looks to be made to order so there was a 8-10 minute wait once we placed our order. We grabbed a table and played connect 4 for a few minutes. The inside is nice and welcoming. Enough space to sit and eat in. The Chimney Cake was delicious! The service was good. (I believe it's family run). I can't wait to go try more things! This is one of our favorite dessert places. The chimney cakes are amazing. It's a whole experience. You watch them make the chimney cake which is like an auntie Ann's pretzel dough and then put on your toppings and ice cream. Absolutely love the decor. It is industrial yet warm and inviting. The service was also great! I didn't tip but then again I did not know that the chimney cake was made fresh and took some work. I felt bad for not tipping when she took time to make our order. I am trying to watch my weight....lol, so my husband and I split one. We got the classic cake with soft serve chocolate ice cream that has caramel and chocolate drizzle. It was delicious! The cone was over $10 but it was honestly worth it. Wonderful experience once again.. it is our go to for our ice cream cravings. Service is superb they are on point with your order and attentive to your service. Great stop for a casual fast dessert! You order and pay at counter and everything is made to order and comes out as fast as possible! Stopped in with my wife and kids. What a fun and unique experience. The staff is absolutely wonderful, kind, and attentive. We were greeted and helped navigate their menu and many custom items. Following our order I realized we didn't order any coffee with dessert so I went back up to order and we were given coffee and bottles of water for the kids. The food was so yummy. We had a chimney cone, waffle covered in ice cream, mini pancakes with ice cream, and a few milk shakes. Everything was so good. My favorite was by far the waffle Nutella ice cream and strawberries. But truthfully it was all great. There are several table, a sofa, and some nice arm chairs. Great place to sit and enjoy your sweet treat and/or a coffee with friends. My wife and I decided to stop here to try the chimney cake and ice cream, as we've never even heard of this dessert. First, the man behind the counter who greeted us was very friendly. Also, the dessert was delicious. The pastry was freshly prepared and the ice cream was quality. However, I found two hairs in my ice cream, which was obviously off-putting. I also found sitting in the shop uncomfortable. There was a group of employees smoking cigarettes outside the shop when we arrived. They came in and out of the shop repeatedly as we ate. I also noticed them staring and laughing at us from outisde while they smoked more cigarettes and we ate our desserts (we were the only ones in the shop). Went here on Sunday after we had gone to an early movie. Wanted to give a local place a try hoping to love it. I thought it was going to be sort of like a bakery but imo it was more like an ice cream shop. They had the whole ice cream counter and they did offer little samples ( I tried blue panda-not sure what it was supposed to taste like but it was good). We looked over the menu and decided on hot coffees-when the server asked us what size I asked to see the sizes and it was small and smaller for $6.99 or $7.99-I'm used to Starbucks prices but these seemed very high for the size. I also asked for non dairy options and he only had oat milk which was fine for me-not sure others would like not having almond milk or low fat or fat free options because they also only had whole milk-milk option which really surprised me. We also ordered a slice of Nutella cheesecake-it came out freshly layered in the chocolate and white chocolate drizzles-it looked beautiful and was indeed delicious-but I digress...back to the coffee. I wasn't asked if I wanted any kind of sweetener so my coffee was not sweet whatsoever and I missed that bit of sweetness (mine was cinnamon latte)-my sister got a Caramel latte and said it was sweet enough for her. We looked at other types of dessert options and again the prices seemed very high, but these pictures did look delicious. The ice cream scoops only were the only thing I felt were reasonably priced. Service was fine and friendly but unfortunately bottom line is it is very doubtful we'll be back based on not the taste/type of coffee drink I prefer-especially for the price, my bill for a very small coffee and piece of cheesecake was $17! read more
