This is such a go-to spot for true authentic Mexican tacos. The menu is in Spanish but has English text underneath if you aren't a fluent Spanish speaker. The service is so friendly even for a food truck. And they make the orders to-order so the food is extra fresh. The outdoor seating area has plenty of benches, which is nice for a mid day lunch break, I've sat out here plenty of times and enjoyed myself. The carnitas tacos are my absolute favorite- the flavor is out of this world especially with the salsa verde dipping sauce. Highly recommend for authentic tacos in the tampa area! read more

Had heard of this place on FB and TT. Drove up from Parrish, FL. - Arrived around 7:45p They have a few tables that is outdoor seating under a carport roof which offers shade in the day or keeps you out of the rain. They also have lights for dining at night. The young lady that took our order wasn't over-the-top friendly, but not rude - if that makes sense. The food was very good. Good flavor, seasoned well, and the salsas were perfect. We had the quesa-birria tacos and carne asada sopes. The aquas frescas were "okay". Like not made fresh. Possibly from Klass Aquas Frescas - but still decent. There was a good flow of people coming by to eat there and some to-go orders. Overall great! Will definitely be back - especially if I'm in the area. read more

This place has moved into the westshore Mall. I have eaten there twice and have not been disappointed. All the little sides that they give you are excellent. Their chicken, steak and birria tacos we have tried so far are better than most places I have tried. read more

I have frequently seen Tacos Gone Mobile since it is located near my place. One Saturday evening, my wife and I were craving for tacos, so we decided to try out Tacos Gone Mobile. Tacos Gone Mobile is a food truck with an amazing atmosphere. Upon checking the menu, I opted for Tacos Supreme, Quesadilla, and French Fries. The food truck was busy with people coming and ordering their food. It took around 20 minutes for my order to be ready. I took the food to-go to enjoy it with my wife at home. First, we tried the french fries. My wife enjoyed them as they were hot and crispy. She could tell that they were freshly prepared. Next, we had Chicken Supreme Tacos which were flavorful and delicious. The chicken was cooked well with tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. Lastly, we tried the chicken quesadillas which were crispy and tasty. Overall, we loved the food from Tacos Gone Mobile food truck. It was satisfying, flavorful, and delicious. read more

I've been coming here for a long time. The food is always good, but the prices are getting a bit too high. These days, a meal with a drink is hitting around $20 , which is ridiculous for a food truck read more

I ordered the Quesa Birria - i didn't realize it would be a quesadilla instead of tacos. Next time I'll definitely pay more attention to the menu. Nevertheless, The consume was the best I've ever tasted in Tampa; it had so much flavor!! It's exactly what i was looking for. The guacamole was unfortunately the worst Ive ever had. It tasted more like onion-mole, too many big chunks of onions. Overall i would definitely return for the birria! read more

Unfortunately this visit did not go well I believe the young lady who took my order was new because she kept asking the other lady question and asking me what I said I don't think really comprehends English too well which is ok to an extent. I ordered 2 tacos 1- chicken and 1- steak with onions and pepper and a medium horchata when I got home I got 1 taco with both steak and chicken mixed together in 1 taco. I told her 1 of each can't give one kid their taco. Bummer I called them to tell them that I was missing a taco and was basically told that is a chicken and steak. Obviously she did not understand me either that I wanted 2 separate tacos kept saying sorry because she did not understood Sorry is one thing accepted but getting the order correct is another Over all the food is good read more

The food is so overpriced. I just paid $16 for a small burrito that has very little in it. What a bummer read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The service is always friendly and fast and the food is just out of this world. The tacos all come with a generous side of grilled onions and a hot pepper. The burrito and quesadilla both come with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. They also give you red and green salsas, which I forgot to picture before I inhaled them. The green sauce is my favorite, I can just drink those by themselves! The lengua was good. We had it in tacos and quesadillas. Both were delicious and we will go back.

This place will try to scam you BEWARE. I ordered through Uber eats and when I arrived to pickup my order was not ready. They asked to see my confirmation two times and on the second time the woman "helping" pressed reorder without my consent/authorization. When I came back to complain they made excuses that it was the Uber eats system without taking accountability. I have come here for years and never had that happen. I will no longer be a customer. read more

Amazing, authentic food truck tacos in Tampa! They offer different kinds of meats and have other items on the menu as well. I am so happy with my order that I wanted to call and thank them, but I realize they are probably very busy. Number 1: if you appreciate homemade tortillas and chips, then this is the place for you! Number 2: it doesn't stop with the homemade tortillas and chips. Their green and red sauces are a perfect balance of heat and flavor. Number 3: homemade, vibrant, fresh guac! In case you live under a rock, there's a massive shortage in food and food supplies, including avocados. This explains why all of the other places charge 11 bucks for guac and when you get it, it is as thin as salsa verde and has zero remnants of avocado. The guac at Tacos Gone Mobile is still chunky and full of freshness. Number 4: this burrito bowl doesn't hold back and leave you wishing you had ordered a traditional burrito. I suggest you give it a slight mix and then you'll experience the multiple layers of rice, beans, meat, and the cool toppings. It is a weighty burrito bowl - not like those crappy ones that seem like diet food. Many mahalos! Your food is ono-licious! read more

Surprisingly good! I was getting tea from Kaleisia and was on my way to try a competitor's taco's...the one that has the word "son" in their name, when all of a sudden I noticed the 'Tacos Gone Mobile' truck in the next parking log over. Laziness creeped into my bones and I decided to settle for the truck next door. The menu isn't overwhelming at all. I went for the taco supreme with carne asada and a carne asada huarache to go. I went back to Kaleisia to get my tea, came back, picked up my order and went home without checking the boxes. I might have given this place a 5 star review, however, my taco supremes (I ordered 4 of them for my family) were not supreme. They only had meat, cabbage and cilantro. Disappointed because I paid for the supreme versions. I'm not going to throw them completely 'under the bus' because they were delish! The huarache was damn good too. Honestly, eating these tacos "clean" was probably a good thing because I could really taste the seasoning in the carne asada. Now, I wasn't sure what to expect because I like their competitor...the one with the word "bus" in their name a lot. I order carne asada dishes from the competitor as well. Tacos Gone Mobile has a different seasoning on their meat...and I like that. It's like having Mami's spaghetti and going to a friends house and liking their mom's spaghetti too, but it don't taste like Mami's. It's nice to have a change in flavor as long as the food is delicious! I'll go back if it's open and in the parking lot over the next time I stop into Kaleisia. read more

Taco ringing again today. This one mobile phone ring. No- it is mobile truck. This truck is close to our area. My wife have gone to this place without me several times. I have to do it without her at lease one time. Today is the day. It is a bit different to eat there than bring it home to eat. The taco is decent. I have the steak and the chorizo taco today. But I like their lengua and tripa taco. The metal tent is behind the truck. It provide covering from the sun and rain. Among all three ladies is there, one know how to speak English. Their taco is to corn taco with pack of meat. Nice looking one. It come with small jalapeño and stir fried onion. Food is better than average but no wow factor. Good for snack like today. read more

I spotted the Taco Mobile after meeting up with a friend next door at Kaleisia Tea Lounge, so perfect segue for a small bite to eat afterwards. I wanted to try something different, so why not get a Tripe Taco and something familiar, Asada Steak Taco? The Tripe Taco meat was hard, didn't enjoy the unusually different aftertaste & couldn't finish it, but I didn't deduct a star. The Steak Taco needed help by adding moisture back to the meat from red & green salsas, which had a kick, so I only added a little bit, you know? It was enough heat for an additional flavor & not too intense or fiery. The side of sauteed onions and pepper were such a nice addition! The meat tasted like it was lightly seasoned with Chipotle, loved the abundant cilantro sprinkled on top and soft corn tortillas! The menu also features Taco Supreme, Burritos, Quesadillas, Tostadas, Torta, Huarache and my favorite sparkling fruit flavored drink, Jarritos!! There's covered seating and prices are reasonable, ranging from $2.39/Taco to $7.99/Burtito. read more

This is a permanent food truck and located in the corner of a parking lot so you won't have trouble parking. They have a covered outdoor seating area so you could actually eat there if you want. I get the tacos regulares with chicken and onions. I fill up on two tacos but most people would get 3-4. It comes with two side sauces that are med to hot spicy. It all tastes delicious to me but there's so many different types/styles of tacos so it just depends if you like these or not. You can pay with cash or card, they have drinks available too. churros were staled and stuffed potato tasted like freeze. I wasn't a fan. I wont be back.

Tacos Gone Mobile is my go-to place when I am craving a horchata. I was introduced to this establishment from a friend but I am really happy to find an authentic Mexican food truck. The regular horchata size is beyond fair for the price paid though you may have to call in ahead of time if it is late at night just to make sure they have not run out of the horchata before getting there. I am unsure of what kind of milk they use for their horchata but as someone that is lactose intolerant, I have not run into any stomach problems when inhaling my drink. Though I did not purchase tacos myself, my friend offered me a bite of her tacos and they were pretty tasty. It was filled with meat and had a good amount of veggies on top. The tacos also come with hot sauce for those of you that enjoy a kick in your food as well as caramelized onions within the to-go box. I would definitely buy my own tacos next time we go there. read more

I've ate here before and the food is good, but today I had a first in customer experience. Explicit scamming. We put an order on Uber eats (confirmation number and everything). When we got their the order wasn't ready when it should have been so the female worker asked to see the confirmation number on my phone and I waited while they made the order. I got back to the car with the phone when I got a notification saying my order was ready. I checked and the employee had put in another order on the Uber eats app when looking at my phone. I came back and they were laughing about it thinking it was funny. It should be common knowledge to not order things on a customers phone or just another persons phone let alone laugh about it when you get caught as it seemed highly likely they were tryi by to get away with it. Also laughing at a agitated customer when the issue was caused by the business is unheard of. I won't be going here and will be letting my friends and family and colleagues know to bring their business elsewhere. read more

Ayer fui para compra un burrito y unas tortas y solo tenia ensalada. No tenia casi carne y cobraron muy caro.... Y no es como antes...

This is a permanent food truck in the parking lot of a shopping plaza on Fletcher. It is 10 min drive from my work location and I've been hoping to find a taco spot that i can frequent for lunch. You can call ahead and pick up, which I've done to save time in my hour lunch break. There is a considerably spacious covered area that has benches if you decide to "dine-in." Always on the hunt for the best tacos and Acapulco Mexican groceria is still my number 1 pick for authentic Mexican tacos. My good friend who is from Mexico, told me that Tacos gone Mobile was her favorite authentic style tacos in tampa, so I thought it must be worth a shot! It took me giving them a second try to become a fan. My favorite protein is pork and that is huge deciding factor for me when it comes to rating a taco restaurant. Carnita (crispy shredded pork) specifically is my favorite taco to order. The pork just didn't even come close to holding a candle to Acapulco groceria in terms of flavor and crispiness. My co-worker who also frequents Acapulco tried the carnita here and agreed it lacked flavor and barely had any crispiness. It tasted like plain roast pork that had a bit of salt. My coworker's al pastor tacos (another style of pork that has a orange looking marinade on it) had better flavor which is not usually the case Ifind when it comes to pork tacos. Carnitas always offer more flavor for me. I would say the al pastor was tastier here. So why do I dare give 4 stars still? The main reason being that I usually do not like steak or carne asada at authentic Mexican joints and always dislike the chicken. I usually find the steak and chicken to be low quality tasting and chewy. The chicken especially is never seasoned well. But that's not the case here. As far as simple authentic Mexican style chicken tacos go, the chicken packs some considerable flavor. It's not to die for, but I would actually consider it as one of my protein choices, when customarily I would not. My first visit I ordered the huarache per my friends suggestion but I ordered the carnita huarache and was not impressed by flavor. The cheese, sour cream and all the other toppings was more pronounced that I hardly realized there was a pork somewhere under there. My friend told me I should have ordered the carne asada huarache and that was their best protein. So I went back a 2nd time and was very much pleased when I took her advice. Three regular tacos topped with onion and cilantro at $2.20 each can fill you up,or 1 huarache with any choice of protein plus beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, avocado and sour cream at 7 dollars can do the trick! I've also tried the chorizo taco and it was tasty. My chorizo rating relies on not being overly greasy, along with flavor and doneness. Checked all boxes! So chorizo and carne asada are the two proteins I'd recommend. Green and red salsa comes with each order. I like to add just a dab of the red salsa because it is very smoky. The green salsa with avocado pieces is my favorite and I pour all of it on my tacos . Another reason for my 4 star vs a 3 star rating is the grilled shishito pepper and onions that come with each order. Prices are pretty cheap here is my third reason for the 4 star rating. read more
