My son and I frequent the drive-thru here. I went this morning and as usual I got the best sausage egg and cheese croissant ever! I have also had it with bacon and neither disappoint! The croissants are huge and fresh without the dry crumbly texture you get at most places. The food is made fresh, not microwaved, and the taste proves it. We also love their cold brew coffee and feel it is the best we have had as well. I have tried their hot coffee and for me it is a little more acidic than I like, but still good. Coffee is different for everyone, so I really wanted to rave about their food here. A great selection for all! I have not gone in, but the pics online show the ambiance is very nice. You should know that the drive-thru can be busy at times, and may seem a bit slow, but it is due to the hot food items being made to order. It is so worth the wait I promise! Honestly, I enjoy this place when doing drive thru because the coffee is nice. However we chose to sit in today to eat and the girls working were unbelievably unfriendly. It was a few young girls working there and they were unapproachable, didn't smile, didn't offer advice. When leaving we weren't sure where to place the dishes and so we tried handing them back and the girl audibly sighed and sternly said "There's a cart for that" and turned around. Didn't even show us where it was. The cart was hidden way back in the corner. Will not be returning as the service (or lack of) actually put me in a bad mood. I stop at Caffeine Roasters on my way to work sometimes and it is definitely better than the major coffee chains like Starbucks or Dunkin'. Their coffee is consistent and yummy, the staff is always nice, and the drive through is quick. I would love to try the food next time I am there. read more

Loved this coffee spot on my last visit over in Tampa. I accidentally stumbled up it and am so happy I did. The service was fantastic, the staff were super friendly. I loved the industrial feel inside. It was a good atmosphere to grab coffee with friends or even to get some work done. The only challenging part of coming here was the parking. The lot is super small and the drive thru seemed to get crowded and in the way. I got one of the seasonal specials, vanilla bean coconut latte. It was a bit on the sweeter side, but I'd definitely try it again, or one of the unique flavor options they offer. The biscuits were the real winner here. I expected it to be like a fast food biscuit but was pleasantly surprised to see how fresh and homemade it was. I got the kale and egg white, and it was absolutely delicious. I love this place! I walk here almost every day. The staff is awesome and they make everything quickly. The parking lot is small but you can park on Armenia and walk over, it won't hurt you I promise! They also have a drive thru. Came on a Saturday morning around 9 am to study. Very spacious, but only 3 or 4 tables that are big enough for studying. Baristas were some of the most cheerful and friendly individuals I've ever met. Solid cold brew. Ordered the veggie egg wrap for lunch and was very happy. Probably the best egg wrap I've had in a very long time. No clue was made it so good, kinda left speechless. I wanted this to be good. I asked the gentleman how they make the caramel delight and he said with espresso and milk and caramel that was it... I said okay I'll take get that in a 16oz and a chocolate chip cookie for my kid. I got to the window paid and he handed me the cookie and the drink.. I asked what it was. Went here for the first time with a friend and it was a nice surprise! The staff was really friendly when we walked in and the decor is cute! They have outdoor seating that's not covered, indoor seating, and a drive thru option as well! I got a caramel iced latte with nonfat milk and I really liked the taste! My friend got the lemon poppy seed muffin and it was sooo good! They have a lot of freshly made pastries to offer which is nice compared to typical chain coffee places. The one thing I will say is that the environment seems to be more of a work or study spot rather than a social spot. The music is super quiet and it felt a bit awkward to chat among friends inside. Man, it's been a good while since I have had an Aero Cappuccino, and now that I've had another taste of it, I can't get enough. I have gone to the location in downtown many, many times in the past, but its somewhat of a haul for me to get to, so I really wanted to try this place out since the location was fairly easy to get to and the parking is not bad (you have to park in the Kennedy--don't let the front parking fool you! Plenty of space there!). The inside is gorgeous with a lot of sitting room, however it can get pretty crowded, so if you want more intimate space--you can pretty much forget it. I grabbed a stool that was one seat away from another costumer, but I really didn't mind. I knew right off the bat I wanted the Aero Cappuccino. Its a frothy, smoothy, "airy" drink that is somewhat like a light milkshake and drinks like a coffee-flavored cloud. No other drink like it, and I don't know any other coffee house that makes it. I got myself a large because--why not? For food I got the avocado toast with smoked salmon AND a poached egg with hollandaise sauce for an additional five bucks. Let me tell you something--I recommend getting the avo toast EXACTLY this way and I think this will be my regular go to when I come back. It eats like a meal in and of itself! It had plenty of greens to make it healthier and to add texture. Generous amounts of avocado sit atop whole grain toast that was sturdy enough to hold it together. The smoked salmon tasted super fresh and I really enjoyed the addition of the egg and the hollandaise sauce to give it and additional dimension of flavor. Such a great, satisfying, yet light and healthy brunch! Apparently the food menu was created by a professional chef, and the quality certainly tastes like it. While they have your standard lattés and Americanos, you have to try their speciality drinks. I got the citrus cold brew and was so surprised how refreshing it was! The cold brew coffee was super smooth with just the right amount of citrus zing to add some character and personality. The slice of Orange also provides some sweetness that you usually don't find in coffee. This place also does some great breakfast sandwiches. The biscuit sandwich I got was so flaky and buttery and was complemented by the salad and balsamic reduction. Overall, fantastic place! Just be aware that parking it really tight here. I had their avocado Toast with pouches egg and omg it was sooooo good!! In addition I also had their cheese sandwich and it was so tasty. It was so good that I told a friend and came again the following week and had the avocado toast with egg and return again few days after. I drove through the drive thru, and I had a satisfactory experience. I only had a cold brew with a splash of cream, so I cannot comment on their food, but I am happy to see that they offer both breakfast and lunch, making this a good "not fast food" option for people who don't want to get out of their car! I come here often because I find it to be a much better study space than Buddy Brew with its more comfortable chairs and quieter music, though it may be hard to find a seat when it's busy. However, I have to say the food and drinks are mediocre and overpriced. Granted, I cannot speak on their coffee drinks because I'm too sensitive to caffeine. I've gotten an iced matcha latte with oat milk twice: both times was very milky and not strong matcha flavor. Also it comes out to $7 which is not worth it imo. I'm really on the fence about this place. The parking lot is very small (it is South Tampa, so that's to be expected) and there is further parking down the street, but on a 100 degree day it was too much for me to walk. At 10:30 on Friday it was packed and there was no close parking in sight, Luckily they do have a drive thru. I was disappointed I couldn't check out the vibe inside but the drive thru was a nice addition. It was not a horrible wait for a small coffee shop (about 20 min from getting in line behind two cars to paying) but if you're in a hurry I would recommend trying elsewhere. I got a cafe americano and I really wanted to like it, but it was really watery and metallic tasting. It was better than Starbucks but I wouldn't order it again. That could be on me, as they allowed me to order off the menu for it. They also had two gluten free items on the menu, a chocolate chip cookie and a muffin, so I was really excited to try them. Unfortunately they were out of both. The staff was very polite and the menu expansive for those with no dining restrictions. Overall I feel like maybe I went on an off day for Caffeine Roasters . I would like to go back, be able to go inside and try a few of their gluten free snacks (and order a better coffee). read more
