Duck, duck, WHITE duck! What a fun find! On a pea soup fog kind of morning, this cute and happy little drive-thru served up sunshine. The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! Haven't been here in a bit and was in the mood for a bagel. Yelped nearest place and BAM! This place popped up. Joined the drive thru line. Ordered a grapefruit green tea, bagel with cream cheese and some apple donuts. To be honest I wasn't sure how the tea was going to be but wowza I'm very much delighted. I love grapefruit green tea and have never been able to find a place that makes it taste like I like it from only 1 other place and that's very far from home. White Duck has officially won me over!!! I'll give White Duck Espresso 5 stars. The process to order was very smooth and delightful. I'm not sure if the coffee is 5 stars; but it's at least 4 stars. It may just be the flavor of syrup I chose for my coffee. (Toasted Marshmallow) This was my first time. On a Tuesday around 9:45 AM. This is a standalone drive-through coffee shop. When I got there, the line was long. However, there was hardly any waiting. The staff were very helpful with explaining the easiest way to order off the menu. (You know the feeling when you go to a new place and you can't see the menu. The people behind you are waiting for you to hurry up and order.) I didn't feel rushed. The staff were very nice. They come up to your window to take your order. I'm assuming this is due to the rush. If you don't know what you want, they give you the paper menu to look at. I think my favorite thing about this place is if you want to add creamer, they show you the back of their tablet. On the back, there are stickers of different colored ducks, all in a row. Each duck is a different shade of brown. You let them know which color duck is the way you prefer your coffee. I wish I would've grabbed a photo of that. read more

I was excited to try this place because I love finding new amazing coffee shops but this was not it for me. The coffee flavorings tasted very fake/artificial and the coffee for being expresso seemed watered down almost like Dunkin. Breakfast was also mediocre at best. I tried a ham and cheese stuffed croissant and it was huge but overall just very doughy and dry. I also ordered the mini donuts and these were also just ok nothing special if you ask me. This is my favorite coffee place in the area! It's always quick, there are SO many options to choose from, and everything I've tried has been delicious. I like that if you don't know what you want, you can give them an idea like sweet or chocolaty and they'll come up with a yummy creation for you. Everyone is so friendly and I've never had to wait for more than a couple minutes (although I do avoid the long lines on the weekend). As far as the coffee goes, 5 stars! I have not yet tried their food. There are a couple of things that almost led me to give a 4 star rating, but the overall experience is exceptional. One is that they don't have a menu outside. I always pull up the online menu on my phone before I get there, but I'd prefer having a sign to look at. Although the employees are very helpful, it was intimidating my first time not having a menu to look at, especially with soo many options. I believe they'll hand you a paper menu, but I'd feel too rushed. They really cater towards extroverted customers but should also realize not everyone is the same. It's also a little off putting that they directly ask you if you'd like to leave a tip every time. I hope the workers are getting paid a fair wage and don't rely on tips, but it's obvious that they're required to ask every customer for gratuity. Since they are always so friendly, I'm happy to give them something, but the fact that they have to ask you directly makes me question the owner's intentions. I also noticed the 17 health code violations which is worrisome. I love the reward system and that they can automatically apply your points with your credit card info so you don't have to enter information every time. They tell you each visit how many points you have and when your next reward will be. It also sends you a text with your points and receipt. They also give you pup cups and tell you how cute your babies are which is always a plus. If you haven't tried White Duck yet I would 100% recommend! Even with the few cons I mentioned, it's still my favorite place and I'm excited every time I get to visit! read more

FIRST, PLEASE COME TO WESLEY CHAPEL! We don't typically drive out this way but we may start doing it once in awhile just to stop here. The drinks were both amazing. This place is made for us. I love coffee drinks and my husband doesn't like coffee but likes caffeinated drinks lol. The bagels were SO good. Had the perfect chewy texture. We added cream cheese to them. The donuts were just okay. It reminded me of entenmann's lol. I definitely want to try the stuff croissants next time. We wanted something sweet and tried the donuts instead. I've never had a bad drink from white Duck. They have a lot of options and everything I've tried is delicious. I've had hot coffee, iced coffee, espresso shakes, and fruit smoothies and it never disappoints. They always have speedy service, but it does get awkward when they force conversation while you're waiting at the window. They are very friendly, but it is a bit much. I always tip, but when they ask me directly for a tip when checking out it feels forced. Rolled through the drive-through for the first time today and ordered a butter pecan iced latte with oat milk and an extra shot. It was pretty tasty! I couldn't believe how many flavors they have on their menu! Definitely more options than any other coffee shop in the area! White Duck appears to be just a drive-through joint but I'm really not sure. It's unclear if you can dine inside, it didn't appear that you could but there were many cars in the lot so I can't say for sure. This drive thru coffee shop recently opened in our area and it was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful with my order, considering it was my first time there. I ordered an iced oatmilk brown sugar latter and the syrup was sugar free! They had all of the milk or nut milk options as well as 8 different sugar free flavor options which is hard to find!! The price was comparable to Starbucks and the drink tasted amazing!! I love the full body roast with the sweetness of the sugar free syrup. I will definitely be returning. I've been trying a new drink every-time I come & deff have some favs. My 10 year old even loves this place too (it's hard not to) his go to drink is a chocolate milk w/ oat milk & of course a fun straw. We've tried every flavor of the mini donuts and they never disappoint. We've also gotten the ham & cheese croissant and it's a 10/10 I added the names to all the drinks in their photo. My daughter found this little drive-through coffee place yesterday and absolutely raved about it, so we decided we'd meet there today. When you pull up to the window, there's a menu showing all of the syrup options, including a variety of sugar-free, which I especially appreciate. The barista at the window was so helpful in choosing just the right one for me. I got an iced latte with sugar-free Mary Poppins and almond milk, which was delicious. The service is extremely friendly and surprising because other coffee shops are not even close to White Ducks customer service. The variety of coffee flavors are great. I love their stuffed croissants and bagels. Haven't tried their donuts yet though. Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick, so don't panic when you a see a long line, you'll be out in no time! The ambiance is that it is drive up only, but they have some quite parking you can eat at if you want! I got the iced americano both times and it was so smooth & delicious! They don't have any gluten free treats, but the coffee is so good, I don't even care. They do have different milks for those with allergies, including oat & almond. And it is so cute, when you order cream in your coffee they ask you how much you want using a duck scale. My husband got the crème brûlée espresso shake (on the advice of the barista) and mini donuts (he said both were amazing, but to eat the mini donuts right away when fresh).
