I had a meeting at Grand Haus Coffee. The atmosphere was really nice, and we ordered our lattes. In the meantime, before they got here, we grabbed our seats for the meeting. Around 5 minutes later, our coffee arrived. The coffee was well made and possessed an excellent flavor that was a delightful combination.

My husband and I came to do some work together, I figured a coffee cafe typically has that vibe to study/get work done. The initial vibe inside was welcoming. We tried a table first, but the small stools weren't very comfy. We moved to the high back chairs at the counter in the back. The chairs were super wobbly, I switched one out and it still felt like it might fall over. In addition, my husband and I both felt like the chairs were leaning forward, just really uncomfortable. When we did get settled, the techno music was going pretty loudly, and was very distracting to do work. I ended up getting a drink, which was actually really good and came in a unique cup...but we ended up leaving as it was not a good place to focus and do work.

Food and coffee was amazing! Even better than I thought it would be. The bagel was delicious, seemed like something from a full service restaurant. The coffee came sealed in a can which I just think is so fun. The workers were all so nice and sweet answering questions and giving recommendations! I took one sip of coffee and knew I wanted to go back and try something else!

My favorite part is the coffee bar sign inside the establishment

Grind Haus is one of those hidden gems we all like to pretend we "discovered," even though the steady crowd proves everyone else already figured it out. It's run by a group of women who feel welcoming & happy to see you, in the way they greet you and move with purpose behind the counter. Service is fast, friendly, and they make it look effortless. Their drinks? Always on point. They made me a cookie butter latte -- iced, hot, whatever it technically was -- and it was ridiculously good. Their breakfast-style bites hit the spot too. The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part. The space has this inviting brick-and-wood vibe that gives it a little "up north" feel. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place you can sit with your thoughts or escape the house for a bit. They've also got juices and boba teas, and honestly, I haven't had a single thing from their menu that missed. If you live in the area and want a spot that feels like your spot -- freshly brewed coffee, good food, good people -- Grind Haus is it.

Very cute coffee and tea shop! They offer a variety of food along with coffee, tea, and boba drinks. It's a bit pricier than some other boba spots, but the unique to-go cups add a fun touch. A nice place to hang out with friends or settle in to study. There are many seating areas that can accommodate large or small parties.

Congrats to Grind Haus for just opening this mid Sept 2025. Excited to have checked them out in a small plaza that I probably have not been to in at least ten years. The coffee shop has a cool vibe with their couch and comfy seats and industrial decor and tables. They have coffee, tea, refreshers, pastries and crepes. They also make their own bagels. Their boba tea and crepes are available in the afternoon and they also have later hours. I ordered their cookie butter latte and my friend ordered their Ube matcha latte. We both loved our drinks. They serve them in the sealed cans just like Bean Wandering in St. Pete. Very cool, trendy and fun. Super welcoming here. Go check them out. They are hidden in a cool spot but won't be hidden for long.

This coffee show is such a gem! Nothing is worst than trying a local coffee shop with bad coffee. This place is far from that. Their coffees are delicious and the staff is friendly and fast! The ambiance is cute and cozy. Very welcoming. I came this past weekend with a friend to try their Valentine's day drinks and they did not disappoint. The coffees actually tasted like raspberry and white chocolate mocha. Absolutely delish! We ordered their bagels as well which are big and tasty. The veggie cream cheese had a nice flavor and the asiago bagel had the perfect amount of cheese. I can't wait to come back. It's worth the drive

Grind Haus is DELICIOUS! Coffee is so good and the bagels are amazing. Very cozy coffee shop and the staff are great. I highly recommend anyone to stop by and give them a try.

Lattes are delicious, Service was pretty good , just need to be faster. Waited about 10 minutes for my order of just a latte. Inside is very cute. lots of places to sit

This place is a hidden gem worth every mile! I drive over 30 minutes just to come here and I'd do it again without hesitation. The inside is cool and inviting, the baked goods are absolutely fantastic. The chocolate chip cookie alone is worth the trip. Their small coffees come served in a canned cup, which is such a fun and unique touch you don't see anywhere else. Highly recommend if you're willing to make the drive, you won't regret it

    Cute aesthetic seating area

One thing I was unsure of before I came in was if there would be free WiFi available for me to get some work done- and there is! It works very well. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly. Nice cozy but industrial decor. The area has needed a nice spot to hang out, chat, do work, and enjoy some nice craft coffee. Once people hear more about how good of a spot it is, there may be limited space, but for now it's perfect!

I finally found it at New York Bagels--and it's only 15 minutes from me! I stopped in a little later in the day, so they were already sold out of quite a few varieties (which honestly is a great sign if you know good bagel shops). I was hoping for onion bagels, and luckily they had a couple left. From the moment I walked in, I got the warmest welcome from the owner. He genuinely seemed happy I found the place and took the time to chat. He even gave me the number and said I could call ahead next time and they'd have my order ready--and even bring it out to the car. The bagels were exactly what I've been missing--fresh, flavorful, and right. But what really stood out was the kindness and genuine hospitality. This is the kind of small business you root for. I'll definitely be back--and earlier next time so I don't miss out!

The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!

We arrived at the notoriously (if you know, you know) tight parking lot. It's kind of an identifier of whether a restaurant is in Seminole Heights or not. Walking in, we were greeted by the friendly staff behind the counter. I don't know how to explain it, but looking around, you could tell that they're serious about making some good bread here (spoiler alert: they do). I ordered from the "Tampa-Style Pressed Sandwiches" category and got the Pesto Sandwich on Asiago Cheese Sourdough Bread with chicken, no STO (spinach, tomato, onion), and a bottle of water. It was out in 5-10 minutes and was HOT! Off the first bite alone, I knew I ordered the right sandwich and made the right choice about a spot for lunch. I'm a sucker for the umami flavor profile, so the pesto was just an easy choice. My photos do NOT do the sandwich justice. Just half the sandwich would have been enough food for me, but I couldn't help myself and ate it all; it was just that good. The cheese pull (which we all know is a very important test) was impressive, so definitely no lack of cheese! As far as the dining area goes, there are, from what I saw, two separate dining areas, offering plenty of space for those who want to sit in and eat, such as my group. Service was friendly, and the overall dining experience was quick, so for those who may be looking for a quick bite, this is definitely a spot I'd recommend!
