I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how nice and efficient the staff was when we ordered! We really enjoyed our food and our drinks we got. On a very warm, Monday morning, way up on North Dale Mabry... almost to state road 54... in a plaza I had never noticed before... sits a little slice of Chicago or New York. With its brick walls (real? fake? No matter!) and industrial light fixtures and stools, it has all those big city feels-and a big and intriguing menu. I'm so glad I stopped in. I always test drive a new (for me) place with a chai tea latte and a toasted sesame bagel. Oh! That bagel! The seeds on top were next level! Are they pre-toasted... are other seeds added? I dunno that-but I do know, this was an epic sesame experience. The rest of the bagel was good, too... nice chewy-to-crunchy ratio... soothing, comforting... everything you want it to be-and I liked the way it was packaged and served, on a little wooden tray. I loved the peaceful early morning vibes in here so much, I stayed almost too long, to get to an appointment on time (almost). I'll go back (for sure) when I'm not on deadline. There are so many other things to try, from boba tea to pastries and crepes. There's a comfy couch and chairs, two high top counters and several tables, where you can work, study or hang with friends. It's spotlessly clean and the employees I encountered were nice. I had a meeting at Grand Haus Coffee. The atmosphere was really nice, and we ordered our lattes. In the meantime, before they got here, we grabbed our seats for the meeting. My husband and I came to do some work together, I figured a coffee cafe typically has that vibe to study/get work done. The initial vibe inside was welcoming. We tried a table first, but the small stools weren't very comfy. We moved to the high back chairs at the counter in the back. The chairs were super wobbly, I switched one out and it still felt like it might fall over. In addition, my husband and I both felt like the chairs were leaning forward, just really uncomfortable. When we did get settled, the techno music was going pretty loudly, and was very distracting to do work. I ended up getting a drink, which was actually really good and came in a unique cup...but we ended up leaving as it was not a good place to focus and do work. read more

Food and coffee was amazing! Even better than I thought it would be. The bagel was delicious, seemed like something from a full service restaurant. Grind Haus is one of those hidden gems we all like to pretend we "discovered," even though the steady crowd proves everyone else already figured it out. It's run by a group of women who feel welcoming & happy to see you, in the way they greet you and move with purpose behind the counter. Service is fast, friendly, and they make it look effortless. Their drinks? Always on point. They made me a cookie butter latte -- iced, hot, whatever it technically was -- and it was ridiculously good. Their breakfast-style bites hit the spot too. The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part. The space has this inviting brick-and-wood vibe that gives it a little "up north" feel. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place you can sit with your thoughts or escape the house for a bit. They've also got juices and boba teas, and honestly, I haven't had a single thing from their menu that missed. Congrats to Grind Haus for just opening this mid Sept 2025. Excited to have checked them out in a small plaza that I probably have not been to in at least ten years. The coffee shop has a cool vibe with their couch and comfy seats and industrial decor and tables. They have coffee, tea, refreshers, pastries and crepes. They also make their own bagels. Their boba tea and crepes are available in the afternoon and they also have later hours. I ordered their cookie butter latte and my friend ordered their Ube matcha latte. We both loved our drinks. They serve them in the sealed cans just like Bean Wandering in St. Pete. Very cool, trendy and fun. Super welcoming here. Go check them out. This coffee show is such a gem! Nothing is worst than trying a local coffee shop with bad coffee. This place is far from that. Their coffees are delicious and the staff is friendly and fast! The ambiance is cute and cozy. Very welcoming. I came this past weekend with a friend to try their Valentine's day drinks and they did not disappoint. The coffees actually tasted like raspberry and white chocolate mocha. Absolutely delish! We ordered their bagels as well which are big and tasty. The veggie cream cheese had a nice flavor and the asiago bagel had the perfect amount of cheese. I can't wait to come back. It's worth the drive read more

I had to go to Publix, so took a quick peek into Grind Haus. It is a beautifully decorated and welcoming space. I saw pastries displayed but not bagels, and nothing on the menu to indicate that they're available in larger quantities (6, 12, etc.). Also, the prices for bagel sandwiches were not advertised, which is always frustrating. Happy to have a what appears to be an independently owned, sit-down coffee shop in Lutz and will definitely indulge next time. If pricing and product are good, I'll become a frequent customer. read more

This place is a hidden gem worth every mile! I drive over 30 minutes just to come here and I'd do it again without hesitation. The inside is cool and inviting, the baked goods are absolutely fantastic. The chocolate chip cookie alone is worth the trip. As soon as I walked in it smelled soooo good! I was greeted immediately and I love the gastropub vibe and decor. My daughter wanted a bagel so she got a plain bagel toasted with butter and I got a chai tea latte and everything bagel toasted with butter. (Crepes are sold after 3pm, will have to come back and try those soon) Food is delicious (bagel was a good size with a TON of everything seasoning), vibe is awesome, staff is friendly, music is on point, decor superb, and the prices are excellent! One thing I was unsure of before I came in was if there would be free WiFi available for me to get some work done- and there is! It works very well. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly. Nice cozy but industrial decor. The area has needed a nice spot to hang out, chat, do work, and enjoy some nice craft coffee. Shameful the manager is so rude not cause they close for the EID and did not close off their app for the Tood Good to go. that is my problem? I understand but don't make someone wait till 6pm again to come get their bag already paid for and offer to put a few more things in it cause you won't let them come at noon cause you want to make more money off the items. I wasted my time and in traffic to drive to your store to get my prepaid bag. Now you still want to inconvenience me to not come at the time that is coinvent for me? First time to visit this new business in Lutz at the Lake Fern crossing in the Publix plaza that has been opened about a week. Owner was there and very friendly. First I'll say that they nailed the atmosphere. Cool decorations and good coffeehouse vibes. The ordering system, however, needs some work. I've actually been there twice now, the first time having walked out due to the wait. This time, however, we were able to order and the woman at the register was lovely, but I'm not sure if she was new or hard of hearing, but we had to repeat our order three times -- and it still came out wrong. Both my wife and I order sugar-free hot drinks with almond milk and neither of the drinks were correct. Mine came out cold and with real milk and my wife's with real sugar but at least the correct temp. Coffee is solid, but these kinks -- and the high cost including up charges for milk type and syrup -- need to be ironed out in order to earn my business and maintain it. read more
