It was crazy busy in there when we went in on a Sunday morning but it was well worth the wait. I got a pastrami, egg and cheese bagel and i ate the whole dam thing. I would usually not and I intended not to eat the whole thing but it was so tasty, I could not help myself The kid who was working in the soda/coffee area was constantly cleaning and making fresh coffee. I told him he was doing a great job. They had seats inside and a few outside. Very clean. Next time I'll buy some bagels to go too. Was in the vicinity and decided to stop in. I've watched the TikTok's and was very much intrigued. The place was buzzin. People seemed to be enjoying what they ordered. I needed some direction because I had no idea how to order my iced coffee. The young man did his best to explain. But I figured it out with trial and error. lol. It came out pretty good. I might go back for another one again one day. As for the breakfast sandwich. I got the bacon egg and American cheese on a plain bagel. It was average. Nothing special. We always get Brooklyn Water Bagels at Fort Lauderdale, so for a quick breakfast we got some bagels at the Wesley Chapel location during our Tampa visit. In this location, the cashier was super sweet. She was able to give me a minute as I decided on an Asiago bagel with cream cheese. My boyfriend got his usual which is a sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel. My fave part about Brooklyn is the Cubsta! I am a fan of their whole wheat bagel. Seems like most of the bagel places don't have this option anymore. Its outside crust was crunchy and inside got dense and chewy bread. This was my first trip to Brooklyn Water Bagel in Wesley Chapel Florida. What a great place! Tons of bagels and other delicious foods to eat. Cheese was added when we said "no cheese", and a bagel was not toasted when we said "toasted". These bagels cost way more than an actual bagel in BK, too much for you to mess up 50% of any order. The whitefish salad is way too good, absolutely love it. The texture and taste are both spot on! No reason to travel elsewhere to big-box stores to find whitefish salad. When I think of the perfect breakfast food I think of bagels, specifically New York bagels. They have been my favorite since I was a kid and finding a spot that makes great bagels and great coffee so close by makes my heart happy. My go-to bagel is an everything bagel or Asiago bagel BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) with a Cubsta iced coffee. I love that you can get iced coffee with coffee ice cubes so your coffee doesn't get watered down (will be using that idea at home now too lol). Kudo to the setup. The coffee/drink station is well-designed and has plenty of options. The bagel selections are decent and are made with special "brooklylized" water. Perhaps is good for you, but taste wise, not as good as other good quality bagel shops. The black russian pumpernickel is just dark and blended. The cream cheese is $2, but at least is very generous. My husband wanted to try their bagels, so he ordered some and brought the Williamsburg home for me. He said the shop was super busy with a long line, but the line was quick and efficient. Anyway, I WFH and I was busy trying to finish up my work on a Saturday morning. I took one bite and wow... I had to take a break to savor the rest of it. The everything bagel was perfectly seasoned and toasted. The bagel had a good salmon/cream cheese/tomato ratio. They used quality salmon and the onions gave it that extra bite. The egg was probably the best tasting thing and my partner agreed, he also mentioned that his bacon was undercooked and the quality was poor. We have tried a few times to give this store a chance and every time we are so disappointed. The eggs for the breakfast sandwich bagels are just awful and have a strange smell. Very expensive and no customer service. I put in an order on cell. I came in and stood there for about 20min. Someone else asked for their order and the guy that made the sandwiches looked up at a bag that was kinda hidden in the to-go case. It was my order standing there. Bk sandwiches were cold. Unfortunately the service has not been the same. That last two times coming in the staff is rude and acts annoyed that I as the customer don't order the way they want me to. Literally the girl was giving me attitude and then proceeded to say I need to provide what bagel I want first and not what toppings I want because the system doesn't allow it like I order. It's not my fault that when I say I'd like a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel that you want me to reverse that. Finally got around to trying this place... it was okay. The restaurant IS very clean, the staff was friendly and the bagels were decent. I got 3 bagels - Cinnamon crunch, asiago, and blueberry. I ordered the cinnamon crunch bagel with cream cheese, but I'm not sure why "Everything cream cheese" was put on it. Silly me didn't pay attention and let me tell you, the savory garlic, sesame, poppy seed taste of the everything cream on a sweet bagel was a shock to my taste buds (Not in a good way). I had taken my order to go so I didn't realize this mistake till I got home. The other bagels I brought home we're good though! I toasted them myself and put regular cream cheese on them.
