Brunchies is a well-avocado-oiled machine! While it's busy on the weekend, the line doesn't take long because they're amazingly efficient. It's a busy energetic diner vibe with plenty of families and kids. Cute local art on the walls makes me think I should paint something when I get home. Waitstaff were hustling but are super friendly and took excellent care of us. Food cake out super quick and everything was delicious! Simple things like English muffins were executed to delicious perfection, eggs all cooked spot on. And the menu is HUGE! I have not been able to find good Cuban coffee in this area so I was extremely excited about that. We ordered the guava French toast, Alfredo burrito and some duck bacon. The burrito lacked flavor but nothing a little hot sauce couldn't fix. The guava French toast was amazing and i will definitely make a trip back just for the cafe con leche and French toast. I absolutely love this place - I am almost afraid to give it 5 stars and have it get busier than it already can be. Two large rooms with plenty of seating. Super friendly staff, I have never had a bad experience. My party ordered the blueberry crunch pancakes and was very disappointed in it. They found it to be texturally off very soft with no sort of structure and tasted like batter. She wished she had tried the guava French toast as that is what grabbed her attention when we were trying to decide where to go. I was definitely interested in the guava crepes but they come with strawberries on top which made me think the guava flavor might be covered up. The server was very attentive even though it was fairly busy. Prices were decent. The coffee was strong so I had the server take it away-I totally expected to be charged but she did not charge me so I appreciated that! I neglected to order the English muffin separately the first time and it was rubbery in no time as is common.
