We decided to come for Sunday breakfast. This place was packed, however the wait time was only 20mins. We were quickly seated by the host and within seconds our waiter Adam came to take our drink orders. Service was fast even though it was super busy we got everything we needed quickly. Adam was extremely tentative and had great suggestions. Something you don't expect when at a busy restaurant. He's an amazing waiter and I'll ask for him next time I go back. My wife and I were spending a few days in Lutz- our first breakfast of the trip found us sitting in the Breakfast Nook and... not so bueno. Service was pretty bad- food was sub-par. Found this place by accident and glad we did. Super cute decor, EXCELLENT service (although a tad slow but they are busy so I don't mind because I never felt neglected), and good food. The portions are really generous for the price. I read someone else's review about the pancakes being rubbery and have to agree a little there, which is why I didn't give them 5 stars. My husband says they tasted like frozen pancakes. I think I should've tried their specialty, cinnamon swirl pancakes and probably would've gotten better quality. John and Crystin kept stealing bites of both my corned beef hash and my potatoes- because they were both so good! I loved the sausage gravy too and made my tower of biscuit, scrambled eggs and gravy dumped on top to eat. Crystin had the 1 biscuit and scrambled eggs and finished the entire plate easily- it was great. However all the servers, hostess, and the manager are super friendly and accommodating. I really love how they have mimosas and each month is a special offering. You MUST try their CINNAMON SWIRL PANCAKE!!! It's out of this world. Take it from someone who doesn't really care for cinnamon (I don't mind it). It's got some brown sugar in it too but the swirl part is crispy/crunch while the rest of the pancake is soft, chewy, and fluffy. The rest of their food is good diner food. I love that you can order an entrée that comes with sides like pancakes and upgrade the pancakes to the cinnamon ones (for an upcharge). I usually like to get some sort of savory meal like the Train Station and upgrade the mini pancakes it comes with to the cinnamon for that sweet taste and get the best of both worlds. I also loved that they use Log Cabin syrup. Coffee isn't the best but that's most diners, right?
