Stopped by this cute spot for breakfast on a Sunday. It was steady but not so busy you couldn't get a table. Being that this place has been here for so many years- I couldn't get over just how clean it was!! The artwork on the walls, the light fixtures in the ceiling- no dust or dirt to be seen. The staff was very friendly and truly worked as a team! You encounter every staff member in some way ensuring you are good and don't need anything throughout your meal. The food was great- biscuits were huge and so fresh! The raspberry tea was some of the best tea I've ever had, not overly sweet- just enough flavor. They have a cute gift shop attached.

A true Florida treasure! This 100 year old restaurant is a delight of classic southern food place with the perfect diner atmosphere. There is also a store attached with an assortment of items. We enjoyed the best cornmeal crusted fried green tomatoes I've ever had! The pecan chicken entree was served with summer squash & fried potatoes. The country fried steak & eggs were served with a biscuit & delicious grits. Everything was wonderful! Couldn't give this place 5 stars simply because of the condition of the restrooms. Small, old, smelly & in overall poor condition. Definitely needs a major facelift!

Love their BSB mimosas! Excited for the full bar to come. All the waitresses here are so friendly and make the experience great!

No sodas here! Sweet tea baby!

Florida Cracker is a down home country style restaurant with amazing food, great prices, friendly servers and a fun atmosphere! The eye candy is very popular in the gift shop too! Today I tried the waffle n bacon. It was amazing! I can't wait to try something else new on my next antique shopping trip!

The food was great. The flavors were nice and everything was seasoned well. It's not too loud in there either. Will be going back!

Not happy. Argumentative staff. Standing behind "policy". We won't be back to ANY of their restaurants or wear any of their merch.

The food is nothing special- you can find it anywhere tbh. Service is rushed and the environment is unremarkable.

I ordered the orange martini and asked if it was sweet - server said no... it came a couple mins later not full and extremely sweet. I asked her to pls fill the martini glass and use vodka to cut the sweet. Came back as palatable, albeit still sweet. Lunch came and the gumbo was excellent! Wife's shrimp po boy was on a bun, not a roll as expected, and was meh... lacked flavor. Still acceptable and came with an order of fries that was great. When the bill came I noticed the martini (14$) was on the bill as expected, but also had an addl 8$ for an extra shot. I asked what this was for and she said she added more Tito's, so I was charged. So now we have one full Tito's martini (still over sweet) for 22$. Wish I would have just returned the shitty drink and ordered a beer. When no bartender at place and servers need to make drinks this shit happens. Dumb move as we'll not ever go back. Lesson learned. Food is good, but stick with beer in this place.

Whether you're in the mood for something classic or a bit more creative, there's truly something for everyone. One of the things we appreciate most is how accommodating they are. We've dined there with groups of all sizes, and they handle large parties with ease while still making everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. The place is charming, whimsical, and warmly decorated, with a fun atmosphere that makes lingering easy. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, just right for a long catch-up session. We shared gator bites and Black Grouper tacos, both flavorful and satisfying. Dessert was the indulgent star of the evening: Irish Cream Bread Pudding, rich and comforting. I paired it with a refreshing Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita, which balanced sweet, cool, and just enough kick to keep things interesting. Good food, lively vibe, and the kind of place where conversations stretch on happily. Exactly what we were hoping for.

Serving size is a bit much, but hey lunch for tomorrow! It's the place to go to for Margs. The chips are fine. The restaurant itself is well cared for and beautifully decorated with traditional Mexican touches that make it feel warm and inviting. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some truly awesome food. In my opinion, it's authentic Mexican cuisine with a hint of Tex-Mex flair. We both ordered sopes which was our fave here. I ordered one, and my husband ordered the sopes platter with two sopes, rice, & beans, I took his beans with my single sopes. This time the steak tasted different and the flavor wasn't all there. It was ok but definitely have had better ones now. They use to include guacamole too. That's long gone. We ordered a horchata and pineapple agua frescas. Of course these are more expensive and much smaller now. Service was ok but difficult to locate our server. It wasn't too busy either bc it was early in the week. Not sure if we will be back here much. Now I still want more sopes bc this one didn't fill my taste buds for it. Ambiance was loud and echoey with two parties. With a full house, wow bring your headphones bc it will be super intensely loud in case you have sensitive ears like me.

I was hoping this would be a nice local place to get a bite; unfortunately, it was not. Starting with, we stood at the door several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. There were maybe 4 occupied tables at the time (I say this because I am always looking at extenuating circumstances for a bad overall experience). Our fish sandwich and clam strips were overcooked, tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The clams were so hard they were left uneaten, by the time the server checked on us we just wanted to leave. Leaving was another issue, after 3 attempts to get the correct check (we did not ask to delete or change anything) we gave up and paid what appeared to be the closest. I think the final irk for me was there was only one server and when she got busy another person got up from hanging out at the bar and helped her only briefly then returned to their bar seat while the other server struggled. As a former restaurant person, I do not like people going from bar patron to food server; it's just bad management. If you want beer and a pool table, then it may be your place; but I would skip the food.
