Loved the décor and my chicken piccata was delicious. Next time I'll ask for a couple extra wedges on the side. Our server was terrific!

It's a really neat restaurant and bar (bar is separate and has a smoking area). Laid out very nicely with combos of booths and tables. Very lively for a Sunday and the service was hard. Now the food, nice eclectic menu lots of choices so might take a while to decide. We started with the chips with balsamic glaze and blue cheese dressing and crumbles. It was pretty good and filling but could have used a little bit more actual blue cheese. The au jus dip was just ok with the au jus gravy overly salty. The grouper tacos ( server recommended) lacked any real flavor but I did appreciate the deep fried taco shell that held it all together. I'm sure other items in the menu are 4-5 star worthy but our experience didn't quite hit those numbers.

Really enjoyed my food here. They had a chicken and gnocchi special and it was absolutely delicious. The tomato sauce with my child's pasta was sweet chunky and so tasty. The interior has a bunch of taxidermy and unique decor. I would definitely go back to try other options.

I revisited Kade Kokopelli, this time in the evening. I dined inside rather than outside this evening and the ambiance was on par. Low key, cozy, quirky vibes with a touch of flair. I love the decor! In ordered the ahi tuna salad and it was eh. The "dressing" was basically soy sauce and the entire thing basically tasted like soy. Blech. There wasn't much to it (4 orange slices and almond slivers with the tuna and greens) and for the price you're better off trying something else. My daughter ordered chicken friend steak with mashed taters and beans which was really good comfort food! The portion was huge! The key lime pie was super tangy and not really pie, more like a cheesecake. It was okay, but my daughter enjoyed it. My old fashioned, made with woodford exchange, was really tasty. That was MY dessert! I'd come back again to try other foods simply because the vibe is amazing and the service is good as well!

We have brought our large groups here multiple times. Here is how I rate certain items: Espresso martini 5!! Fried green tomatoes napoleon 5 star Crab bisque 4 stars Lobster ala vodka 3 stars Beef stroganoff 3 stars Cajun Alfredo 4 stars Prime rib sandwich 3 stars Pasta meals 3-4 stars (Our food Server brought a hot as lava bowl of lobster pasta to my daughter and had my daughter grab bowl across table. She scalded her hands and had a lot of pain and burns for a week. A month later I was handed a plate and scalded my hands as well. They really need to not hand customers hot plates. I'm not sure how they are not aware of this as we can't possibly be the only customers with this experience.)

Wow this was a fun and eclectic old Ford motor garage. The restaurant has owned this location for the past 30 years. There's a lot of fun, timeless, traditional items on the menu from gator bites, to stuffed meatloaf, full bar and lots of cool drinks to try. Service tonight was actually excellent, from the walk up to the sit down and the introduction from our waiter, friendly and impressionable for sure we're part of my description.

First time checking this place out and it was delicious! I stopped by here during the Kumquat Festival for a kumquat margarita, which was fantastic but sadly only sold during the festival. Came here to celebrate me buying my first home. It was quaint inside and cozy. I ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which was amazing. It's exactly how it sounds. Short rib and cheese that's grilled. Very good! My dad got the She Crab bisque. As a Maryland native, I approve! Very good!!!

We came here on a Sunday right at opening and sat outside with our dog. Big plus that they're dog-friendly! We were greeted quickly, and our waitress was attentive throughout. I ordered the chicken piccata, and it was really enjoyable. It was flavorful and well-prepared. My husband had the smash burger, which he liked overall but thought could use some kind of sauce to bring it all together. The outdoor seating was shaded, which made for a comfortable experience. Overall, a great visit, and we'd definitely come back!

Haven't been here in years but I love the food, ambience, and service is wonderful. We came for lunch and ordered fried Calamari and Prime rib dip and French fries for $1.50 extra instead of chips. The Calamari was a tad overcooked but still enjoyable hence the one star deduction. The Prime rib dip was delicious, and since we were sharing it, our server brought us an extra plate and two dips. Our French fries were cold, but our server checked on us promptly so she was able to replace them promptly with delaying eating our lunch. The decor is quite eclectic with numerous animal heads and hanging door dividers and pictures from yesteryear. Very enjoyable place for a meal. Parking lot is small and street parking is not plentiful.

We have been to this spot 2 times now and enjoyed it both times. The decor is really unique. The staff and service is excellent. The food is really good! Week days they have a great lunch deal of getting 2 items for $11. I really loved the tomato soup! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! We love it and will be back!

What a cute and eclectically decorated cafe. We started with some brunch cocktails which were hand crafted and amazing. I had the crab bisque and Caesar salad, but were seasoned wonderfully. Our server was kind and knowledgeable, and we over all enjoyed our experience.

Wife's shrimp po boy was on a bun, not a roll as expected, and was meh... lacked flavor. Still acceptable and came with an order of fries that was great. When the bill came I noticed the martini (14$) was on the bill as expected, but also had an addl 8$ for an extra shot. I asked what this was for and she said she added more Tito's, so I was charged. So now we have one full Tito's martini (still over sweet) for 22$. Wish I would have just returned the shitty drink and ordered a beer. When no bartender at place and servers need to make drinks this shit happens. Dumb move as we'll not ever go back. Lesson learned. Food is good, but stick with beer in this place.

I haven't dined at a Captain D's restaurant in more than 15 years, and I didn't know Captain D's restaurant chain was still open and operating. Although the building is old, it is well kept and the inside dining room was very clean. The service was prompt, fast and friendly. I ordered the 8 Piece Crispy Crunchy Shrimp & 2 Piece Fish (batter dipped filets) Meal served with hushpuppies, fires, and coleslaw. The portions are very generous, everything was hot, and cooked fresh. The white fish was very good, perfectly cooked, fried to a light crispy golden brown, with a tender, flaky inside texture. The batter did not overpower the flavor of the fish. The coleslaw was ok and paired well with the fish. The shrimps, which are also served with sweet and sour sauce for dipping, were mostly breading, bland, had no seasoning and lacked flavor, but it was what I was expecting from a chain restaurant serving previously frozen pre breaded (not fresh) and fried crispy shrimp. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Captain D's and the food was good. Worth a return trip for the fish. Captain D's | Wednesday 03-11-26 13016 US Highway 301 | Dade City, FL 33525

I was hoping this would be a nice local place to get a bite; unfortunately, it was not. Starting with, we stood at the door several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. There were maybe 4 occupied tables at the time (I say this because I am always looking at extenuating circumstances for a bad overall experience). Our fish sandwich and clam strips were overcooked, tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The clams were so hard they were left uneaten, by the time the server checked on us we just wanted to leave. Leaving was another issue, after 3 attempts to get the correct check (we did not ask to delete or change anything) we gave up and paid what appeared to be the closest. I think the final irk for me was there was only one server and when she got busy another person got up from hanging out at the bar and helped her only briefly then returned to their bar seat while the other server struggled. As a former restaurant person, I do not like people going from bar patron to food server; it's just bad management. If you want beer and a pool table, then it may be your place; but I would skip the food.
