If you're looking for authentic Mexican flavor in Central Florida, this is the real deal! They've got it all: delicious Mexican food, nieves de garrafa, fresh produce, spices, traditional candy, pan dulce, clothing, pots and pans, even little knickknacks and don't miss the carnicería! There's also a restaurant right next door serving up tasty dishes. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, just like you'd expect from true Mexican hospitality. The vibe instantly brought me back to Mexico it genuinely felt like stepping into a piece of my homeland. A must-visit if you're craving a slice of authentic culture and flavor!

Been coming here for well over 5+ years. It's still absolutely amazing! Foods always on point hot and with so much taste it blows your taste buds. Service is great Fast, and with purpose. The restaurant is kept up really nice with all the traditional decorations.

Loud and the live singer (who is pretty good) makes it very difficult to hear people at your table. 3.99 for a tea (it was good sweet tea... but that is ridiculous $) I had the combination platter it was fairly good with an assortment of tastes. Our Server was very good

This is on the Main Street of Dade City and is attached to a Mexican store. We were seated right away. It's cute inside with painted wall scenery, brightly painted tables and chairs. Our server had a great personality. She was pretty busy so not as attentive as she could have been, but it was average. The food was a major disappointment. The chips are thick and bland. Salsa was runny. I had the house burrito with chicken. It was huge, but there were huge chunks of chicken, chewy and bland. It should have been shredded. Coke products but no Coke Zero. Huge drink cups but the beverages are $3.99 each. They had a dinger there in traditional Mexican attire but it was so loud it was difficult to have a conversation. I would not return.

Had a very good lunch at Del Carmen. Betsy, our server, was charming and efficient. I had the Tamale Platter. It came out fast and HOT! The pork tamales with Red Sauce were on point and came with fluffy rice and homemade refried beans. Will definitely be back!

The place is delicious and huge . They also have a grocery store attached where they sell meats , veggies and lots of goodies . The location is big and clean . The service was great from the front of the house to the servers. We had a chorizo cheese dip trio it was delicious. My chicken burrito was amazing just great flavor and served hot . Sadly some place have great food and the food isn't hot or just room temperature and that kills it but not here . Zero complaints with our meal or service. My husband chicken fajita he said was very flavorful and he was happy he got few tortillas some place give you like 2 or 3 here they have 5 tortillas and he was in heaven . Next time I got try the margaritas they looked delicious. We definitely will be back To eat again .

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! If not my favorite, love their margs & food is incredible. The ambience is so fun & the interior of the restaurant is decorated so cool. Also being connected to a market is an added bonus

First time at Del Carmen. I was very excited to try this place because my cousin has been here many times and highly recommended it. We actually came here together and it lived up to all the hype :) I get a sense/feel for a place as soon as I walk in. When I walked into Del Carmen I immediately felt "home". This place doubles as a market AND restaurant!!! We walked in through the back and they have EVERYTHING that screams Mexico ! A plethora of things/options! From piñatas hanging from the ceiling to artisan gifts/ceramics, Mexican candy... and more. They have a "takeout" window as soon as you walk in and a section for indoor/sit in dining.I ventured off after eating and it just kept getting better. They have a small section with fresh made "pan dulce" (bread) and a ramp that leads to a "meat shop"...oh but there's more! Lol....behind that there's another section with cowboy hats, boots and traditional (Mexican)women and men's clothing. I mean, they have it ALL. I was in awe! Ok, let's get to the food because it was very delicious. As a Mexican who actually grew up visiting Mexico earth summer and had home cooked traditional/from scratch Mexican meals, I'm not picky but definitely selective. They have a pretty extensive menu. I had the chicken mole and it was actually VERY delicious. The salsa for the chips was a bit watery and bland for my taste but overall the mole being that good made up for it. Their horchata is also very yummy. I like it with a bit more cinnamon but it was still very good. Service was very prompt despite it being crowded for lunch! I will definitely be returning and before finishing my review I must say the ambiance/decor/aesthetic was my absolute favorite! I love the colorful vibrance that is so true to our culture. They have beautifully crafted chairs with Mexican icons painted on the back of some of the chairs throughout the restaurant. Overall great experience! Highly recommend a visit here!

So many great things on the menu! Especially the guacamole appetizer. And their chips are different than most Mexican restaurants, but fantastic.

This is a real treat. The dishes are amazing and the margaritas are soothing. We had a party of four and everyone enjoyed their lunch. I had the meat empanada was exceptional! Easy parking on the street.

I've had this spot book marked for so many years and just finally got the opportunity to get in the area and give it a try. Located an a cute downtown centric area, I had no problem finding parking on the street on a Sunday afternoon. This is a restaurant / bodega so don't forget to stop in the attached store after your meal. Plenty of seating, this is a pretty spacious restaurant. I was seated immediately. Service was friendly albeit a bit slow. Pisole is served on the weekends so I had to go for a bowl. It was a large serving for $13.99 easily enough to take home some for lunch the next day. The broth is rich with chicken flavor. This has definitely been stewing for hours. The chicken itself was not flavorful and a tad bit dry but the Verde soup and hominy was really good. I also ordered three tacos with rice and beans to take home. Wash all this down with a Modelo especial and I call it a good meal. The attached Bodega has so much variety and almost everything you could need for a nice Mexican meal at home. I really enjoyed my meal here and we'll absolutely revisit when in the area.

This was our first time here, but we definitely need to come back to try more entrees. The decor inside is super cute. They have beautiful frescos on all of the walls, and all of the chairs & tables are painted differently. Their chips & salsa were so good. Service was excellent. Everyone in our party of 5 loved the food that they ordered. I highly recommend the molcajete & ribs in green sauce. Their sangria is good too. I need to come back to try their Pozole (weekend special) & tamales. We live an hour away from Dade City, but it's definitely worth the drive.

I went here for lunch with my daughter . The place was not busy. It took a while for our food to come and when it did it was cold . The chicken in my burrito was so tough I couldn't chew it and the sauce over it tasted like ravioli sauce . I mentioned to my server who seen I only tried a bite she only said sorry and walked away. She never came by for refills on our drinks and we had to ask for our check . Terrible food and customer service . I don't recommend a waste of money .

The bartender negligently served us drinks loaded with vodka. Because of his carelessness, I tasted alcohol for the first time in over 36 years of hard-earned sobriety. The bartender apologized and promised the drinks were "on the house."Instead, they charged us $66.04. When we called management to fix it, we were only given a partial refund of $27.82, leaving an unauthorized $38.22 charge.Worse than the theft is the staggering cruelty of management. When Mike called to resolve this in January, the manager/owner on the phone literally laughed at us regarding the situation, alongside a room of his friends who joined in the mockery. To treat a severe, dangerous threat to a person's life and recovery as a joke is deeply unhinged. If you are sober, in recovery, or have a medical condition, stay far away from this venue. They do not care about your safety, and they will mock you for it.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more To be frank, finding this amazing coffee shop was not on my to-do list when my aunt and I partook in the Henry's Hidden Trains trail/scavenger hunt made in cooperation with the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum which is also located in the heart of Historic Downtown Plant City. The trail/scavenger hunt took us to many popular locations/businesses in the area, but one particularly stood out the most for me, especially since I was hungry and thirsty after walking around and about in the sun of the area. One of the hidden trains is located near one of the particular entrances of an amazing coffee shop that has a mixture of delightfully tacky decor mixed with a steampunk aesthetic, Krazy Kup. And through this "find," I "found" an amazing coffee shop that I am so happy I took the time to step into... or should I say my growling stomach made me step into it. Though an address is provided, Krazy Kup is located just south of the eastern half of McCall Park. If it further helps out, the aforementioned train museum is northeast of this coffee shop. Starting with the parking situation, the north parking directly in front of Krazy Kup is a one-way in, one-way out. Take that into account if you want to park right in front of the coffee shop. There is public parking, especially around the park, that is not too far of a walk to Krazy Kup, too. There is also an entrance in its back (south) with a bust of King Louie and more parking near there, too. Pertaining to the outdoors, there is also a unique "alleyway" right next to the restaurant that serves as their outdoor seating area, or at least a larger area of outdoor seating compared to the two small tables in front of the coffee shop. Inside, the ambiance has a light tackiness that is quite adorable mixed in with some mild steampunk elements. The numerous Christmas lights definitely adds to the ambiance. My aunt and I did not stay too long to really absorb the ambiance, but it was surely beautiful. Actually, we absorbed the air conditioning more as walking in the sun for Henry's Hidden Trains can be taxing. I didn't get much pertaining to food and drink, but what I did get: delicious! First and foremost, my drink order was a seasonal drink, the apple spiced latte. It helped wash down the amazingly large biscotti. I had the chocolate-dipped hazelnut biscotti with my drink. Now I have to return (one day) to enjoy more on Krazy Kup's menu. Definitely want to try some of their wraps and "Krazy" sandwiches, especially the breakfast sandwich. For my initial review, I am going to give Krazy Kup four-out-of-five stars for their review. The visit was quite short, but it made such an impact with the short time I spent there with the little I bought. But with what little they gave and provided, it was mighty enough to earn its way. I will definitely recommend to others to at least come in and enjoy the simple pleasures, coffee and baked goods with the ambiance. And when I return, if Krazy Kup is consistently good, just like last time, I will give them their fifth star for consistency.

They also serve dinner before the show for a fairly reasonable price. The quality of the dinner is just ok really so we sometimes opt to grab something elsewhere.
