This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

I came in, looked the menu up and down, and shortly afterwards a gentleman behind the counter eagerly took my order. Then, a few minutes later the sandwich was done to perfection and wrapped tightly. That was great customer service. Plus, they had a question and communicated to me that they had a question. This doesn't happen at all local delis. The store is clean and well stocked. There is much more of selection here of premade and/freshly made desserts, dinners, etc. Will be back for sure.

From the outside it looks closed because they hang their locks. Their stickers on the doors are labeled incorrectly haha. It says to push when you need to pull and the Inside says to pull, when you need to push. Aisles - Probably fits one shopping cart at a time because I struggled a bit with an older Asian woman while I was shopping. Products - Has the produce, sauces, flours, meats, name brand ingredients you'll typically need. (Lemon grass, leaves, fish sauce, oyster sauce, light/dark soy sauce, mushroom sauce, etc., chicken broth pebbles, curry pastes, Thai basil, green long beans, sprouts, instant coffees, wonton/eggrolls wrappers, thin/thick noodles, snacks, shrimp chips, coconut milk, bamboo shoots, items to make dessert, etc.) Bathroom - It was small and a lot of their cleaning supplies were in there. Try using the bathroom before or after coming to the market. Customer Service - Great. I don't think the cashier speaks a lot of English, he didn't talk much but he smiled a lot. I was told that the duck curry was hot, which translates to spicy. The duck curry is so spicy it's inedible, it would have sent me to the hospital. I love spice and grow my own scorpion & habanero peppers, the food they prepared and served was a lawsuit waiting to happen. I asked why they made it so spicy and they said that customers would use up the pepper sauce they had on the tables to add to their food so they decided to just make it spicy. I decided to eat a doubles instead, it was absolutely disgusting, it tasted as if they used chick pea flour to make a curry slurry and it was under cooked. I was pissed that I spent $70 dollars on food that was poorly made and with zero customer service. The bathroom is also a whole other issue. not sure how they are in business. I never leave a negative review but Tara Roti shop should be avoided at all costs.

We both ordered sopes which was our fave here. I ordered one, and my husband ordered the sopes platter with two sopes, rice, & beans, I took his beans with my single sopes. This time the steak tasted different and the flavor wasn't all there. It was ok but definitely have had better ones now. They use to include guacamole too. That's long gone. We ordered a horchata and pineapple agua frescas. Of course these are more expensive and much smaller now. Service was ok but difficult to locate our server. It wasn't too busy either bc it was early in the week. Not sure if we will be back here much. Now I still want more sopes bc this one didn't fill my taste buds for it. Ambiance was loud and echoey with two parties. With a full house, wow bring your headphones bc it will be super intensely loud in case you have sensitive ears like me.
