It took some time for staff to come by, and when our food arrived, multiple servers were bringing out dishes without clear organization--walking around the table until someone claimed each plate. That said, the food itself was a highlight. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla Fajita, which was delicious and a generous portion--enough for leftovers. I also tried the mango margarita; while it leaned more toward an orange flavor than mango, it was still enjoyable. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, especially for Cinco de Mayo. There was lively music, colorful and creative wall art, and even a photo-op wall, which added to the experience. Parking, however, was another challenge--it was chaotic, with cars parked on curbs and anywhere they could fit. Overall, while the wait and initial service were frustrating, the food and atmosphere made it a memorable visit. I'd be willing to give it another try on a regular day to see how the experience compares--and to explore more of the menu, since everyone in our group enjoyed their meals.

When they're firing on all cylinders the food from Capital Tacos is so good. Unfortunately I've experienced problems multiple times from here. I called recently because I was frustrated that twice in a row I had ordered the ground beast nachos and my order was incorrect. The order clearly states "black beans & NO mexican rice" but I received no black beans. I wasn't trying to get anything for free and just wanted to let the kitchen know they were making orders incorrectly. The black beans are a main reason why I get this dish so it's incredibly frustrating for this to keep happening. Everything seemed fine because the next two times I ordered it my order was correct. But once again the exact same thing happened to me: no black beans. The quality of the chips you get also varies wildly. Sometimes they're perfect and delicious but more than once I've received burnt chips that were awful. It's expensive to get delivery from here and I'm not going to do it any more but hopefully they can fix these issues for their other customers.
