    Steak tacos and burrito!

Steak tacos and burrito! Both were so delicious! I really recommend them. My husband loves this place!

If I could award more, I surely would. My physical therapist had recommended this Mexican food truck for months. I finally stopped in back in November for the STEAK TACOS, which were DELICIOUS. Everyone who I've met who's eaten here raves about the Tacos. But on my initial visit, a Spanish-speaking customer told me the pork burrito (CARNITAS BURRITO) is the BEST creation. So I ordered one. Not only was it INCREDIBLE in size & flavor, but in freshness as well. It was LOADED w/ tender, moist, perfectly seasoned SHREDDED PORK. It was so large that just one half of it covered two meals for me! You're forewarned: the two side sauces are HOT. But the entrees are so good that sauce is entirely unnecessary. The two men inside this cute red food truck are friendly. They aren't fluent speakers of English, but that hasn't hindered their business. Be prepared to receive a smile & hear "amiga" or "amigo" a few times. To order, just park in the Marathon gas station lot & walk up to the window to order. There are two covered picnic tables should you wish to hang around & eat on site. This business attracts many blue collar guys; they apparently know where to secure excellent food @ reasonable prices. (Cash, credit, & debit are accepted.) The menu is not large-- it's two-sided & beautifully simplistic. (See pic.) Available is quite a large variety of Mexican pops (including Mexican Coca Cola) & water. No alcohol. Whether you're hungry for Tacos ($2), Taco Supremes ($2.50), Tortas ($8), Burritos ($8.50), Quesadillas ($8), Sopes ($3), or Flautas ($7), you can have them made w/ Steak (Azada), Pork (Carnitas), Marinated Pork (Pastor), Chicken (Pollo), Mexican Sausage (Chorizo), Tripe (Tripa), & Tongue (Lengua). No ground beef, though. For dessert, there are Churros @ $3. Will I return? Oh, Lord, YES. The quantity, quality, price, freshness, & flavor are EXCELLENT-- truly a 5-star food truck! If you haven't stopped in yet, what are you waiting for! These good guys welcome tips. Once you taste their handiwork, you'll wanna leave one:)

Three asada and one pollo taco. So good!

I attempted to try this food truck three times but every single time it was closed. I went during the hours listed and even tried calling but no one answered. I am so glad I didn't give up because it ended up being really really good! I ordered the Azada and pollo tacos. I was surprised with how generous the chef was with the amount of meat in each taco. The sauces on the side were delicious as well and really added to the already flavorful meat. The food was fresh and seemed very authentic. There is nothing to dislike about this food truck. I can not wait to go back!!

Very small food truck and the parking lot of a convenience store that is being renovated. I would recommend actually utilizing the little bell that is on the counter when you get there because I waited quite a while before I was noticed. I hate it to do it but I needed some tacos. The price is right with tacos starting at just $2. I ordered the chorizo taco, asada (steak) and a chicken supreme which included lettuce tomato and sour cream. The others were traditional street tacos with cilantro and onion. The chorizo taco was amazing! The tortillas tasted very fresh and the amount of filling in each taco was a lot. Really It wasn't totally a handheld taco as I had to use a fork. I'm telling you the chorizo would make me stop there again if I was in the area. The other meat choices were pretty standard and just okay in my opinion. They did offer a house made red and green salsa which were yummy. For an inexpensive choice and a darn good chorizo taco I would stop here again but only if in the area.

If your looking for some authentic Mexican tacos then this awesome little food truck is for you. Tucked away in the parking lot of the gas station you will find them whipping up some excellent carnitas and tacos el pastor. I stoped on a friends recommendation and boy was I glad I did and I know it won't be the last time. The hot sauces red and green provided with my tocos were flavor packed with chili's topping off my tacos perfectly. So if you find your self in the are and hungry for some tacos stop in and make your tats te buds happy...

The feeling from outside screams Mexico, so we thought we hit the jackpot (not so) the locals seem to enjoy this restaurant. But what I learned is small towns that finally get something new is what they consider to be good. Our waiter Manuel wanted us to probably order more than just our entrees. Our drink selection wasn't appealing as well 3 waters and 1 corona. But we didn't come in for drinks especially since we just left a kids party and had a few drinks there. The children had the cheese quesadilla with fries, they weren't impressed. My wife ordered the carnitas and it was okay and for me the Jalisco Special. Presentation of my wife and I dishes were good but the lack of seasoning is where restaurants are falling short of. What I'm learning is the lack of seasoning is being replaced with sauces. No matter how bland your meat choices are they encourage you to try it with the sauce. This place seems as it use to be Jalisco restaurant but revamped into Plaza Mexico restaurant. The locals may keep it a float but time will tell if this place will last. Hopefully management can fix the lack of seasoning as this is a Presentation of Mexico and are well know for flavorful dishes not dishes with sauces. I know I won't be back but this small town needs true identities of culture dishes.

Whenever we're heading back…read morehome to Tampa after spending the day floating down the river in Ocala, if we're coming this way, we get excited knowing we can stop at Chuy's for some food and drinks before finishing the drive home. Yes, Chuy's is a chain, but if you're thinking typical chain-restaurant Tex-Mex, I personally think it's much better than that. I almost ALWAYS order the King's Memorial combo because for around $18, the amount of food you get is ridiculous--in the best way. You get a crispy taco, three enchiladas (cheese, beef AND chicken), Mexican rice and refried beans, plus crispy chips underneath the taco covered in that creamy queso. It hits the spot every single time, and I ALWAYS have leftovers. Little piece of advice: EAT THE TACO FIRST. Crispy tacos deserve to be enjoyed fresh and crunchy. They are not tomorrow's problem. My friend usually gets one of the burrito combos, which comes with a HUGE burrito, Mexican rice and black beans. She loves hers and usually ends up taking leftovers home too. I've also sampled enough food from other people's plates over the years to say I haven't really found anything here that I dislike. The fajitas are delicious, the margaritas are decent, and the prices are reasonable for the portions. Now let's talk about those complimentary chips and dips. We call the creamy one the "crack sauce." If you know, YOU KNOW. It comes out with the chips and salsa, and we literally have to make ourselves stop eating the chips because we want to save some of that creamy sauce for our actual meals. On our most recent visit, we sat on the bar side and had Ian taking care of us. He was friendly, respectful, quick with everything and checked in to make sure we were good. He even brought us some extra dipping sauce, which absolutely earned him bonus points with us. His name also happened to stick with me for a personal reason, so I definitely wanted to make sure he got his shout-out. The restaurant itself is super cute inside, and although we usually gravitate toward the bar side, the entire place has a fun atmosphere. Our service over multiple visits has consistently been good--20%-tip-worthy good--and the staff is usually pleasant and helpful. There are A LOT of restaurants to choose from in this area, especially if you're already over here shopping, so I know picking somewhere can get overwhelming. But if you like Tex-Mex and you've driven past Chuy's thinking, "Hmm... I wonder if that place is any good?" I definitely recommend stopping in at least once. If you hate it, I'm sorry. If you love it... you're welcome. We'll absolutely be back the next time our Silver Springs adventures bring us through Lutz!

I am sure the family behind it had been serving the community long before I ever moved to Dade City in the late 80s. The fact that they are still here after so many decades says everything about their dedication and the quality of what they serve. Some reviewers talk about a lack of spices, but that was never my experience. Little Mexico always delivered real flavor and real consistency. They never needed to rely on anything flashy. They simply cooked good food and stood by their recipes. If a restaurant can maintain a positive reputation across generations, it means they earned it. I truly hope the family is doing well.
