There are done the real way, on a small corn tortilla with cilantro and onion. The hot sauce was very good. I also had a tamale that I thought was a bit flat. This is in the parking lot at a gas station, I knew it would be good cause of the line. Almost passed up the chance cause I figured it would be a while, but it went fast. This will be a regular stop.

This small local food truck offers a limited menu and has perfectly represented what a taco should be. The lengue (tongue) taco meat was seasoned to perfection and was melt in your mouth soft. Covered with onions, cilantro, sour cream and shredded cheese only compliments and completes this one of a kind taco. The pastor (marinated pork) is an explosion of flavor never experienced before. After I finished the first, I had to order two additional ones. Located in the parking lot of the Marathon gas station on the corner of SR-52 and Curley Rd in San Antonio, FL, those who are traveling along I75 and are up for a memorable foodie experience should exit and head 4 miles East to truly have a one of a kind remarkable experience. I can't wait to revisit this newly discovered epic gastrotruck.

Serving size is a bit much, but hey lunch for tomorrow! It's the place to go to for Margs. The chips are fine. The service is fast, friendly, and done with purpose, which really adds to the experience. The restaurant itself is well cared for and beautifully decorated with traditional Mexican touches that make it feel warm and inviting. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy some truly awesome food. In my opinion, it's authentic Mexican cuisine with a hint of Tex-Mex flair. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is the place to go if you're craving Mexican food in the Dade City area.

We both ordered sopes which was our fave here. I ordered one, and my husband ordered the sopes platter with two sopes, rice, & beans, I took his beans with my single sopes. This time the steak tasted different and the flavor wasn't all there. It was ok but definitely have had better ones now. They use to include guacamole too. That's long gone. We ordered a horchata and pineapple agua frescas. Of course these are more expensive and much smaller now. Service was ok but difficult to locate our server. It wasn't too busy either bc it was early in the week. Not sure if we will be back here much. Now I still want more sopes bc this one didn't fill my taste buds for it. Ambiance was loud and echoey with two parties. With a full house, wow bring your headphones bc it will be super intensely loud in case you have sensitive ears like me.

My friends and I would stop in almost every week. Those meals became part of my routine and part of my memories growing up. Realizing it has been more than thirty years since those first visits makes it even more meaningful to see the restaurant still open today. I am sure the family behind it had been serving the community long before I ever moved to Dade City in the late 80s. The fact that they are still here after so many decades says everything about their dedication and the quality of what they serve. Some reviewers talk about a lack of spices, but that was never my experience. Little Mexico always delivered real flavor and real consistency. They never needed to rely on anything flashy. They simply cooked good food and stood by their recipes. If a restaurant can maintain a positive reputation across generations, it means they earned it. I truly hope the family is doing well. Seeing them still succeed after all these years brings back memories and emotion I was not expecting. It feels like a piece of my childhood is still standing strong.

We all ordered the taco platter (two tacos of your choice--soft or crunchy, and steak, chicken, ground beef, or shredded beef...and rice and beans). Great street-style tacos! Two types of salsa--I preferred the verde with a little bite. And even better, the owner came out with a platter of tacos...on the house! Barbacoa, carnitas and al pastor. Too cool. Gracias! Cold horchata, tasty food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. #Winning The only downside: They don't serve alcohol. And a couple of cold ones would've gone down so nicely... Highly recommended, of course.
