She makes the most delicious food all of the time. And the prices are insanely reasonable for quality and quantity.

Happy Anniversary to us!! Decided to go to The Cheesecake Factory for our anniversary dinner. We…read moredid not have a plan but I knew that I would enjoy it so it was the choice. This is a fairly new location located at the local outlet center. It's pretty much a busy location and on top of it being back to school shopping time it was fairly busy in and around the restaurant. Our wait time was about 10 minutes and we got seated outside on the patio. That was nice because it was not too hot outside. We started things odd with a Michelob Ultra and a Strawberry Spritz along with Truffle Fries. I sipped my drink and did not like it so I sent it back and got the Peach Bellini. It was delicious. For dinner I got the Chicken Potstickers and my husband got the double smash burger. Everything was delicious as always. We also got the Adam's Peanut Butter Perfection Cheesecake to take home. My favorite. Our server Gerardo was pretty awesome. Very attentive and a sweetheart. Good service like what he gave definitely made our evening pretty great. All in all our anniversary dinner was pretty fantastic.

Chelsea was an excellent server and incredibly helpful. Right off the bat, she had overall menu recommendations, and when I probed further, she shared her top 4-6 entree preferences from a variety of sections of their extensive menu. She was prompt with her delivery of our drink orders, House bread, and the super yummy appetizer, their crispy crab bites. I went with her recommendation of the Jamaican spicy shrimp and boy were they spicy! My friend had the Parmesan Herb Crusted Chicken. We capped the evening off with a slice of their chocolate mousse cheesecake. This location is not as big as the one in Westshore, but it had an energetic, eclectic vibe that makes me want to return in the future.

We had the smoked salmon bruschetta to start, no picture because it was too yummy to remember beforehand My husband had the Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta, extra spicy and it was very good and very flavorful. However, the standout was the skirt steak chimichurri with green beans and jalapeño mac and cheese the steak was so tender, the chimichurri was so fresh and a perfect match for the steak. The green beans were seasoned well and the jalapeño mac and cheese was phenomenal! Overall, a great place for a delicious meal!

We were really disappointed with our experience at Grillsmith tonight…read more The most frustrating part is that when I originally called to make our reservation, I specifically asked for 5:30 PM. I was told they were too busy at that time and that we would need to come earlier if we wanted a reservation. Because of that, I rearranged our evening and our plans to make sure we could get there earlier and accommodate the restaurant's schedule. We arrived around 5:00 PM for our 5:15 PM reservation, so we completely understood that we were early and were prepared to wait until 5:15. What was disappointing was the attitude we received when we arrived. We weren't asking to be seated early--we simply would have been happy to be seated if a table was available so we could get our three kids settled and ready to eat. Instead, we were made to feel like arriving early was an inconvenience. At 5:15, we were ready to be seated and there were several open tables. We were told that an 8-top had just left and they needed to clean the table and floor. We understood that, but then we were left waiting without any updates while we watched other guests who arrived after us get seated. By 5:25 we had been there for 25 minutes total. With three hungry children, we decided we'd waited long enough and left to find somewhere else to eat. What bothered us most wasn't simply the wait. It was the combination of the attitude when we arrived, the lack of communication afterward, and feeling like we were being ignored while other guests were seated. The most irritating part was that we had specifically rearranged our evening because we were told 5:30 was too busy, only to arrive early as requested and then feel like our time wasn't valued. When we finally said we were going to leave, we were simply told, "Okay, have a great day," without an apology or any attempt to address the situation. We understand that restaurants get busy, that tables need to be cleaned, and that arriving early doesn't guarantee an early seating. We were not expecting special treatment. We simply expected basic courtesy, communication, and for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we left feeling very unwelcome and disappointed, and ended up taking our family to the living room for dinner and had a great experience there. After going out of our way to accommodate their schedule, it was frustrating to feel like our time wasn't considered valuable as well.
