Went there today with my dad for lunch. Super cute, tucked back away from the main road. The menu is simple and very affordable. The cafe is clean and quaint. Two booths and a few tables inside. Outdoor seating is available. Outside was my favorite! I ordered the pesto chicken flatbread and my dad had the southwest omelette with wheat toast. Mine was delicious and my dad ate all of his. The portions are perfect for one serving. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I will return to eat here again.

The cutest little place on the lake -- aesthetic interior, different vibes in each little corner of the place, different seating styles and arrangements, easy outdoor access to the back patio and lake. The service was pretty slow but I'll cut them a lot of slack there since it's like, 1 cook and 1 cashier? An older guy who seems to love his job and a younger woman handling the front. So, how can ya complain? Food itself was great, no complaints! The flatbread pizza however, was my favorite for sure. Something about that glaze!

Fresh from the oven scones! They were delicious

We walked in just in time for fresh from the oven blueberry cones and the guy was drizzling icing on them right at the counter. Temptation x 100! He tells us they a fresh from the oven and we could smell them! Shocker- we split a hot scone and it was wonderful! We were there for lunch- but I didn't have breakfast and when that happens, I tend to only want breakfast food first. So- I ordered an omelet with spinach, bacon, cheese & mushrooms~ yum. The omelet came with homefries and toast. My sister ordered her favorite- the turkey club with a salad. Both meals were great- my omelet looked browned and overcooked- but the eggs didn't taste overcooked. I am thinking it was browned cheese maybe? My toast was stone cold though- when it was set down on the table, so I tried and then didn't eat the toast. But that was ok, because the omelet was plenty of food. My sister took home half her sandwich- a normal occurrence and we sat for a bit while it poured rain outside. My sister filled me in that they are short-staffed and some days only served baked goods and drinks. That she goes for lunch about once a week and loves sitting near the fireplace- which wasn't ablaze while we were there. I checked in after we ordered and got a Yelp coupon for 25% off- dang it! But mow my sister is going to get the Yelp app to get the coupon for the next time!

Lovely place. The space is stunning and very comfortable. Beautiful fireplace, great chill music, and a wonderful view of the lake. They use BuddyBrew with is a great coffee!! My only criticism is that they overlooked my over easy eggs but the rest was a great experience.

I had the chance to sample a bunch of menu items this week, and let me tell you , this spot is a MUST VISIT. Possibly the worst mac & cheese I've ever been served. Won't order again. You'll note that this review is rated 5 stars... That's because every other aspect was absolutely outstanding. No other notes; the rest of our food was incredibly delicious. And service was excellent. I hope they look at the mac & cheese. Before I get too long-winded, I'll mention my favorite bites. The warm complimentary bread was perfectly baked and the honey butter was fantastic. Hubs had a salad as one of his sides & shared with me; it was quite large & fresh, and I loved their Ranch dressing. My other side was the Mashed Potatoes and they were SO GOOD. I savored the skins & potato chunks. And then my sirloin steak was literally perfect. Medium-rare was well-rendered & each bite melted in my mouth. My friend gave me a chunk of her pork chop, and it was absolutely divine. Honorable mentions: - The Mozzarella Twists appetizer was really good but almost too much cheese for 4 people. I mean that in the best way. Soooo good, but a rather large serving. - My sangria was huge & tasty, and I also thought well-priced at ~$9. - Our other friend's ribs looked amazing, as they actually fell off the bone, and he confirmed they tasted even better. Though this location is ~25min from our house, it's the closest Texas Roadhouse to us. We met another couple here on a Friday night; I made a resy as we left home but the wait was even longer than our drive. And then our wait after arriving was also longer than we were told at check-in, but definitely worth it. This place is a madhouse on Friday nights! We were glad we'd made a reservation because walk-in waits seemed to be egregious. Once seated, service was excellent, as our server came by often to check on us, and we never waited for anything. Drinks & food came out quickly, and clearing was efficient, too. We'll definitely return!
