    Lumberjack breakfast

This was a cute little restaurant. Very clean and pleasant. The girl that seated and served us was really nice. A very good host. The food was very yummy. The homemade hot sauce was delicious. Prices are not too expensive. It was an enjoyable experience.

Great breakfast! We got the very berry crepes and waffle. Unique with cream cheese filling and lots of fruit. Prompt service and woodsy decorating and atmosphere. Nice change of pace from the usual choices.

Very nice new brunch spot in Lutz. Bright and airy space with wonderful service. Server was friendly and attentive. A little pricier than other options. Portions were small but plenty for me. Coffee was great!! I had the meat lovers skillet. Potatoes were fantastic but egg was more medium than easy. Still a nice place and I'll be back.

Best breakfast in Tampa imo! The crepes well done are fantastic . We take off the cream cheese topping. And the eggs with grits and English muffin is perfect for me.

Very berry is a go to for a breakfast date spot. The servers are so sweet and they arguably have the most amazing pancakes (gluten free ones too!) always at the top of my list for breakfast

This was my first visit to Very Berry Brunch. This is a cute little brunch place. Parking is a little tight, but for those that drive with sense, it should not present a problem. The menu is vast for such a small place with options for protein, carbs, and drinks. The servers uniforms are dressed down with blue jeans and a black top. I enjoyed very very crêpes with a side of bacon and two eggs fried over hard. The coffee was good, the price was right, but I'm not sure if I'll be back.

A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. I am glad I chose this place again as it was near my hotel. Definitely coming back for more great bar food at reasonable prices. Overall: A

The wait for the food is short too compared to other one I have visited. The interior decoration is nice with high ceilings. I ordered the grilled steak medallions. My wife has the chicken katsu. This dish is in the special menu meaning only seasoned menu. Her dish also good because it is a Korean flavor. Service is good. I ordered the Chicken katsu from the special menu, and it completely blew me away. I swapped the white rice for brown rice. It was some of the best brown rice I've ever had. The texture was spot-on, perfectly cooked with a pleasant flavor. The chicken itself had a satisfying crunch from the coating, and the vegetables were fresh, crisp. The green onion garnish was a plus. It was better than what I found at many dedicated Japanese or Korean restaurants. The portion was generous; I had leftover to take home for lunch the next day. I downloaded their app ahead of time, which scored me a free slice of cheesecake- large, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. I liked the complimentary bread. The black loaf was my personal favorite. Our server deserved a special shoutout. He was the definition of professional -- attentive, warm, and never missed a beat despite how busy the restaurant was. He clearly earned every dollar of his tips fair and square. The restaurant itself was very busy, even at lunchtime, -with a mix of tourists and locals. The building is modern and fresh, with both indoor and outdoor seating and a sleek, contemporary décor. The menu is expansive, truly something for everyone. And their happy hour offers discounted food and drinks, which is a fantastic bonus. I remembered the first time ate at Cheesecake factory 30 some years ago at Cocowalk in Coconut Grove, Miami. Their food was delicious back then. It's still awesome now. And after this visit, it's easy to see why it continues to thrive.

My wife and I were looking forward to our 1st dining experience at Coopers Hawk for our 31st anniversary. Unfortunately both the food and service were extremely disappointing. My wife ordered the filet mignon: 8 oz. Filet, Steak Butter, Crispy Onion Strings, Grilled Broccoli, Choice of Side 46.99 and I ordered Ellie's chicken piccata Lemon Butter Caper Sauce, Capellini Pasta 26.99 We both ordered glasses of wine with the meal - my wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the white wine they recommended to pair with the chicken piccata Neither wine came before our meal. When our meal was brought, there was still no wine yet. The server who brought our meals to the table asked if there was anything else we needed and I said-yes-the wine we ordered to come with our meal. 15 minutes later after after meals were brought--still no wine This is unacceptable at any restaurant-but for an establishment such as Coopers Hawk that centers everything around their wines this is ridiculous. When the wine was finally brought over 15 minutes later after our meals were brought they actually still forgot to bring my wife her wine and only brought mine. I told the server that it was too late and we did not need it anymore. The server clearly saw when she brought the wine that we were well finished with our meals already but did not offer any apology up-front and only after I said that "its too late" did she offer to take the wine off the bill. She did offer that she could still bring my wife's wine out and still take it off the bill and also offered to let me keep my wine and also take it off the bill but the damage had already been done at that point as it was over 15 minutes since we received our meals Now onto the food itself-very disappointing. Although my wife's steak was cooked perfectly as far as the inside of the steak-the steak itself had little to no seasoning and had no char on the outside. Outside of those 2 things - the quality of the meat itself was also disappointing. To give you an idea - the quality of the filet itself was less than the filet you would get at a Longhorn's steak restaurant which charges about 29.00 compared to $46.99 here - so you would expect at the very least it would at least be equal (or should be better) quality beef than Longhorns but unfortunately it was worse. The Chicken Picatta on the menu clearly says "Lemon Butter Caper Sauce" there were plenty of capers on the plate but outside of 2 lemons wedges on the plate for show there was absolutely no lemon flavor whatsoever in the dish. The chicken was cooked very well and was juicy but there was virtually no seasoning on the chicken at all and there was zero (0) lemon flavor. So again extremely disappointing. The restaurant is upscale and very nice looking and has a vibrant social atmosphere but when the service is bad, the wine doesn't come with the meal (and that is the theme of the restaurant-the wine), and the food is this disappointing it all adds up to a very bad experience which unfortunately also occurred on our special occasion-our wedding anniversary

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.
